This is the best vet I have ever been to. They talk to you like you are a person who I caring for their beloved pet. Not like they are doing the hard sell of their services. When my 6 kittens developed  eye infections that were progressing rapidly I called Raynham and explained my concern and how quick this came on. They told me they were closing in 20 minutes and I'd have to make a future appointment. I want a vet who is willing to hear from a long-time client, understand the need, and be willing to help when the request is reasonable. Instead, I was quoted policy, spoken to rudely, and hung up on:My dog was late for his annual appointment by one week. I called to make an appointment and was scheduled for their earliest available date (4 days later) I asked if I could pop in for a tech to administer the kennel cough nasal spray so my pup could continue to attend doggy day care. I was told that they would not give him his kennel cough until they could see him for his yearly appt. because that was their policy. I was dumbfounded! I do not feel that this decision was in the best interest of my dog, his safety, or his health, so I found another vet who was more than willing to help. Their receptionist, Courtney, was incredibly rude and had zero interest in helping me figure out a solution that would work for my pet. Definately not someone who should be on the other end of a customer service line. I cannot in good conscience recommend this Veterinary Clinic to any friend or anyone looking for a vet who will care for your pet as much as you do. Read Less

We have been coming to this practice for years. They are so compassionate and take their time with us to explain what they're doing and why. We appreciate their friendliness, timeliness and care. We do have one reactive dog who is terrified of going to the vets and EVERYONE there has been wonderful with her and follows our lead on how to handle her! Wouldn't think of going anywhere else! Dr. Buche is amazing! I don't trust many people with my dogs but I definitely trust her with them! She provides fantastic, thorough care. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff here :) like other reviews I agree that it easy to get a timely appointment. The Raynham Veterinary Hospital is very conveniently located at the turn right before the Wal-Mart on Paramount Drive. This hospital is very clean, and it gives very good service. I have found that everyone who works here is friendly, and very considerate of both animals and people. The grooming services offered here are wonderful and I get my dog groomed here all the time, by Pam. The veterinarians are also wonderful and you can tell that they really care about the pets that they care for. Everything from the people at the service counter to the medical staff are all very professional and kind. I highly recommend coming here if you really want a good experience for you and your pet. Raynham Veterinary is fantastic.  I absolutely give a total thumbs UP!!! Unfortunately I had to have my pet euthanized this year and they were wonderful, patient and kind.  Unfortunately I have not been back to the clinic with my other pets because I was unable to get evening appointments.  I was devastated to find out that they didn't schedule in the later evening (5:30 and after), because I loved this vet.  I am seeing another vet now, but if they were to have evening hours, I would RUN back to this clinic.  I still think they are the best around. I give this hospital a excellent rating, they are friendly and always timely with the appointments..Dr.King has been my dogs doctor for many years, she is so informative of what is the best for my dog, and calls me to check up on the progress of my dog when she is sick. I once found a kitten abandoned in the parking lot where I live, it looked like it was in rough shape. I called RVH to inquire what I/they could do to help it. With a heavy sigh I as informed I could bring it in to be looked at if I wanted to spend the money. They seemed to have absolutely zero interest in wanting to help this kitten. In the end I brought it to N.O.A.H where He was very well taken care of. Now to the main story: my cat has recently began vomiting after eating. Couldn't keep anything down, even after changing his diet. I called RVH to see if my cat could be seen the following day, to get a handle on what was causing the issue. After a long pause I was asked how my cat is in the examination room. I said he was ok, probably like any other cat I'd guess. This is where I was informed that the doctor there had just come back from shoulder surgery and couldn't handle anything too rough. I explained that he was an 8lb domestic short hair and not a Saint Bernard. I was then told this doctor had now had 2 surgeries on their shoulder so there was a lot of concern. Really? If you can't work on a cat and a veterinary hospital why are you even at work? Is there anything you can do? Maybe give a goldfish a check up I guess? I don't know. I was told I could bring him in the follow in day and would "try" to see him but if not he'd have to be seen another time. Try? What does that mean? I take time to go there and just hope you can see my cat who is very sick apparently? I almost wasn't even mad at that response, I was actually impressed on how hard this place works to keep animals away from there. Can't hate the hustle! I told them I'd just call a place that had an interest in treating sick animals because I wasn't very interested in my cat you know, dying! Called Taunton Animal Hospital and after a 3 minute conversation had an appointment. So I guess if you care about your animals I'd bring them literally anywhere else.Read Less

Hello! My dog Bailey that I recently adopted has seizures add yesterday morning he had 3 which is something new for me to deal with. I quickly bright him to the hospital for a day of observation and bloodwork. Everyone from reception to the doctor on duty (Dr. Lelia King) went out of their way for my little guy. To holding him for 2 hours in their lap to letting him run astound and sit at the desk which he does Daily with my boyfriend while working from home. My regular vet had passed away and my sweet Meg needed to be put to sleep as she was suffering to the point of not being able to walk. She was 14. When I called Raynham veterinarian they were so kind. When I came to them I needed help,getting my sweet collie out of the car so they brought a dog sized stretcher out to my car and tenderly helped get Meg out. We brought her in, they explained the procedure and gave me option to stay with her or leave. Of course I stayed! We had been through a lot together the past 14 years! It was one of the hardest things to do but the doctors and staff were so kind and understanding and grieved with me. When and if I am able to get another beloved pet, I know that I will be back.
