I've had long wait times when I was the only person there. The vet is not personable at all, nor does she put in any extra effort. I felt like all they saw was dollar signs and not my actual dog. Love Middlesex Animal Hospital, Dr. Harrison and everyone that works there. I like that they are a smaller facility, I feel like they all know me and my dogs. They are knowledgeable, compassionate and its obvious they love what they do. The facility is clean and well organized. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. Read Less

3 Weeks later - after an absolutely horrific appointment with this vet, I still cannot believe how terrible my dog was treated and the trauma it not only put on her, but me as her owner.I brought my precious pup in to be examined for a leg issue - and without warning or any warmth or niceties, my dog was slammed down on the floor by both the doctor and a technician - and she was terrified.  Since then, I've had an entirely different experience at another vet and can see how cold and uncaring this experience was - and how unnecessary it was to put my pet through such trauma.I hesitated writing this but then thought about all the other animals who would be subjected to such a terrible approach and thought no other animal should go through this.  There are plenty of other options for vets that are loving, caring and know how to approach a dog - or any animal for that matter - in a gentle but effective way. Let me start by saying I do not write reviews, However My experience at this office was atrocious, My cat was brought in today by a friend due to me having to work, I called ahead of time and asked that I be contacted before anything was done, Which did not happen I received a call from my friend stating is 750$, and he gave them 350 deposit !!! I called immediately to ask what was going on and why I was not called and was told they "forgot", and the Dr. would call me back. So 45 min later the Dr. Calls me and I ask about the " X-Ray" for 360$ and explain there is no way he ate anything I keep my house clean as can be and inform her I had a cat a few years back that ate a penny and since then I am extremely cautious, For 25 min she uses scare tactics in saying " YOU SHOULD HAVE THE X RAY DONE" so with fear from her 100 reason I should do it I say " I guess", She says shell call me when its done and give me an update - That never happens, I call and ask whats going on and she says " well the x-ray showed nothing" NO SHIT !!!, she then says the blood work should be done around 5 and to come get him then and we can discuss the results, I show up at 5 and the receptionist immediately trying to collect the remaining and i havent even talked to the dr, as well I told her it would have to be next Friday for i just gave 350.00, I then go into the room and the DR. ( VET ) tells me she just canceled the blood work cause I cant pay the balance and she has another patient and leaves the ROOM !!! ... DO NOT GO HERE, THIS IS A HORRIBLE AND DIRTY LOCATION, -- ASK TO SEE THE CAGES THEY ARE NOT WELL KEPT AT ALL AND IF I WAS NOT IN A SITUATION WHERE MY CAT NEEDED TO BE SEEN ASAP I WOULD NEVER HAVE GONE HERE !!!!
