Don't do what they said what they would do and not give you a full refund when THEY MESSED UP! No one should go here . The price of service is very reasonable, and I can always feel confident that decisions are being made with my pets' best interest and quality-of-life in mind. My 4 year old Boxer mix recently had to be seen for a suspicious growth in her mouth and Dr. Sykes and vet techs Samantha G. and Haley couldn't have been better, both in treating her and making sure I was educated and reassured. The entire staff here is wonderful and understands that pets are family, and Mary at the front desk is always a pleasure to deal with! I could not say enough about The Revere Pet Clinic and Medford Pet Clinic Group. The team of Doctors, Dr. Olga, Dr. Marni and Dr. Sics (sorry for the spelling) are incredible. They are wonderful and truly care, truly care. Dr. Olga goes ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure your pet is getting the best possible care, and I know this first hand because without Dr. Olga's expertise, concern and care and quick thinking my Ava would not be here today. Dr. Olga teamed up with Dr. Gordon to save Ava's life and they personally followed up with calls to check on her. But I must say this Dr. Marni was the one that first diagnosed Ava's condition. She caught it right away. Dr. Marni you are the best. I will be forever grateful to the entire team at the Revere and Medford Pet Clinic. The front desk staff at both locations are accommodating, friendly and helpful. The staff at Revere Pet Clinic gave Ava constant care with providing fluids, etc. so that she would be strong for her surgery. We have 3 little doggies and they've been going to Revere Pet Clinic since they were puppies..Dr. Olga and Dr. Sykes and all the rest of the staff are very good at what they do...never had an issue with any doctor or any location. And prior to Dr. Olga going out on her own she worked for my old vet years and years ago, lucky for me she was at the South Boston location, and I credit her for saving the life of my cat, Princess, at the time. I visit the clinic often due to having two cats, one with kidney disease requiring on-going treatment. Majority of the time Karla is at the front desk to greet me. She is great to deal with as she is knowledgeable and efficient. At times the clinic can get busy but she always works hard to ensure customers don't wait too long. My pup has been going here for 8 years and we had always had the best of care! Her vet is kind and caring. He spends extra time to be gentle with her when she is nervous. She has had many medical issues and they have always been addressed immediately! They have always gone out of their way to squeeze us in of necessary. We had a situation with our dog, he had jumped and eaten two pieces of chocolate cake from the counter top. We didnt even know he could jump that high in the first place and we were freaking out. We originally thought that we could induce vomiting at home and it didn't work out, we went to the clinic and most of the staff was kind accept one of the staff members. After they had induced vomiting one of the nurses told us to go to a pet hospital for some IV fluids for the dog. At first we were freaking out because at the same time we needed to be somewhere else and the hospital was far away. Instead of calming us down and helping us reach a rational decision she actually said and I qoute "Do it now because if that dog dies it's on you" I want to specify everyone else in the clinic was doing there jobs perfectly except this one individual staff member. People who are writing bad reviews probably donot know how to judge a vet or facility. Lynn, medford, charlestown, south boston are new. Revere clinic is in an old bank. Dr Sykes is excellent. My dog had acl surgery and cost $1800 and if I went anywhere else would have cost $3500. They did a great job. My dog had cancer and did a free autopsy. I have put 3 dogs down in the last 9 years and would go no where else to do it. I have had my two dogs teeth cleaned four times and they did a great job and the cost is 1/3 of what those setvices cost elsewhere. People complain about cost of vet care for there pets, if you dont want to pay then dont buy a pet. Olga is russian, she is not rude, dont mistake cultural differences as insulting behavior. Go elsewhere if you dont like it. You will pay more and your dog will not get better care. If you dont go I will get better appointment times. The Office is dated, but clean, Our two dogs have had four and five different appointments each with Dr Olga, and she has been very professional every time. The staff is reasonably pleasant, and certainly welcome the animals that come in. Dr Olga has been very good at handling our dogs and ensuring that they get a through exam and appropriate blood work. I would certainly continue to bring my dogs to Dr Olga. I just don't see how people can give her 1 or "Zero" stars. the only reason it is not five stars is that the office could be improved, but then that cost of facility improvements has to trickle down into the cost of appointments. I would rather have a clean and drab vet office over a sparkling and luxurious setting if it means that I will save money on the same services. Read Less

Extremely professional, I felt though they need more room that their knowledge of vet medicine, and their compassion, capped it off! Indeed they are very compassionate. They held our hands, so to speak when we put down our love, Canita...they gave us a blanket to hold her, until she drew her last breath...such compassion. Mine and I were broken. I had to take my dog there once because it was unfortunately the only animal clinic open. The owner was extremely unprofessional. She had her 8 year old daughter working there, yelling at her at the same time. The girl obviously had no experience. She had no idea what to do with a tick. She picked it up with her fingers and left it on the table. The mother was having a fight with her daughter while I was in the room with my dog! Her mother was getting visibly frustrated with my dog for him being too rambunctious. If you are going to get that frustrated and show your customer how frustrated you are, then you shouldn't have become a vet- let alone open you own clinic. The techs had flip flops on, there were no gloves in sight, nothing seemed like it had been cleaned, and some of the techs were rude. I walked out of there paying way too much for what my dog had to get done. I wouldn't recommend anyone to the Revere Pet Clinic. Extremely unprofessional staff and I'm pretty sure that they are violating so many health violations in there. I would have much rather driven to the nearest emergency hospital, in Jamaica Plain and paid the $150 emergency visit fee.Read Less

I went to this clinic for the first time today. My appointment was schedule for 1:20pm. I got there 15 minutes earlier. I waited 50 minutes until I decided to walk away. Staff don't seem to care. They are nothing professionals. Horrible experience! I would NOT recommend this clinic to anyone. I wish I had seen all this bad reviews before I went there to waste my time! I recently took my dog to Revere Pet Clinic for the first time. My dog was very ill. She hadn't eaten for 3.5 days without immediately throwing up, and had stopped drinking water on the third day. She had incessant diarrhea as well. I was able to find an appointment the day that I called and the vet tech took a thorough history. The vet met with me within 15 minutes of my arrival and performed a very thorough examination. She administered an anti-nausea injection (maybe an anti-emetic?) and had the vet tech set up an IV for my dog's dehydration. Literally, one HOUR after leaving the clinic, my dog was drinking and jumping around. She gobbled two cups of bland food that was recommended by the vet. She only had a tiny bit of diarrhea which ended that evening. I am so grateful to the Revere Pet Clinic for taking such good care of my dog! I will definitely be back. Read Less

I was saddened to see the perfectly awful reviews about a clinic which does so much good for the animal rescue organizations in this area. This is not a corporation owned business which hands you a list of charges before they even look at your pet but a small clinic tackling a huge load of animal care. Yes, they are overstressed and often impatient with owners, but never with the animals they are trying to help. My cat was not acting normal. There are always openings at Revere Pet Clinic. After a test the vet, Olga, and staff act alarmed. So I think my cat is near death. They immediately sell me fluids, needles and food my cat does not like and won't eat. Then Olga asks for a urine test. Why didn't they do both tests first before diagnosing??? After the urine test, they say my cat needs antibiotics. In the middle of picking up the antibiotics Olga interrupts the staff person to talk to her for over 1/2 hour while I am waiting to finish being helped. Then I spend days trying to get Olga on the phone to explain the test results. I can tell Olga is avoiding me and the staff is lying to me. Finally Olga gets on the phone right after they have told me she was not there. Olga is annoyed, self important and in a rush. She does not adequately explain the test results. And then she says my cat needs to see a specialist and she is discharging us from the clinic. I take my cat to JP Animal Clinic and have his test results faxed there. The vet, Amy Johnson, is friendly, caring and takes the time to carefully explain what the test results mean. My cat is in the early stages of kidney disease and did not need to be put on fluids, which are for the late kidney disease stage. My cat did not need to see a specialist. Amy gives my cat a tasty supplement for restoring intestinal bacteria because of being on antibiotics. Amy also gives my cat tasty food that he likes and eats. Revere Pet Clinic staff and vet, Olga, do not seem to have much experience. Their mistakes cost me extra time and money. Olga seems to have emotional problems that she projects onto customers. My cat and I are fine now but we will never go to Revere Pet Clinic again. Read Less
