I just moved to the area and have basically spent my whole life SPOILED and surrounded by absolutely amazing vets. Most recently, I spent 16 years taking my dogs to a pair of phenoms in the Boston/Cambridge area. So when I heard local animal lovers raving about and recommending Dr. Chapman and the Rutland Vet Clinic, I went in hoping for the best while also keeping my eyes wide open. Well, after a year here in Rutland I'm ready to say that this vet clinic gets straight A's from me!! My dogs visited for check ups and procedures throughout 2017 and were never let down. What makes this place stand out is the patience and friendliness of the staff and their willingness to answer questions (no matter how seemingly inane) from pet owners like myself. Even though I was just in to get a rabies vaccination for one of my dogs, Dr. Chapman took the time to talk with me about "all things canine" and had no problem answering questions I had regarding local flea and tick issues, ideal canine weight and body composition, and a host of other topics totally unrelated to the vaccines. Everyone I've spoken to in there is friendly and knowledgeable and I have no hesitation taking my dogs there or recommending them to anyone wanting professional and affordable vet care for their dogs. They carry a full line of flea, tick, and HW preventatives and have a nice parking lot to use when you bring your dog in. Five big stars for this place!

Dr. Robin Chapman and her Vet staff have been fabulous!! I can't thank them enough!! Last fall, my cat Gizzy became ill very suddenly. i took him over to to the Rutland Vet. Clinic and they gave him such good care. He had to stay overnight with them and Dr. Robin made sure he was comfortable even in the middle of the night. She made her rounds and made sure that he was doing OK. However, he died but Dr. Robin and her staff went out of their way to treat dear Gizzy professionally and with dignity throughout his entire stay with them even in his last hours. I have the highest praise for she and her staff. They are taking good care of my other cat Dreamy and his little brother Cheddar. I am so very pleased and so grateful to them for their honesty and compassionate service. Thank you Dr. Robin and your entire staff. Your ongoing care is very much appreciated!!

Rutland Vet Clinic is great. We have taken our animals there since '95/'96. Our introduction to the Rutland Vet Clinic was that someone had hit a black lab on the Sterling / Princeton line. I called Princeton police to come help me take care of the dog. The Princeton police called Dr. Robin well "after hours" at her home number and she said to bring the dog right on down. We used a blanket from my car to carefully lift the dog into my backseat and then went, police led, to the clinic.Though I did not hit the dog, I volunteered to cover the bill in case the owner could not be found. Dr. Robin was very kind to the hurting pup, spent a good deal of her time for treatment, took x-rays and in the end had to put the dog down due to a severely broken back. No owner was found and thus I received the bill. Dr. Robin did not charge for her time nor much else. I guessed that we split her true minimal cost.Dr. Robin much impressed me then and has done so since. She has now (over the past 20 years) cared for two of our dogs and five of our cats.Our experience with the Rutland Vet Clinic has been wonderful.- Steve C. from Princeton

Most recently, I spent 16 years taking my dogs to a pair of phenoms in the Boston/Cambridge area. Dr. Robin Chapman and her Vet staff have been fabulous!! I can't thank them enough!! Last fall, my cat Gizzy became ill very suddenly. i took him over to to the Rutland Vet. Clinic and they gave him such good care. He had to stay overnight with them and Dr. Robin made sure he was comfortable even in the middle of the night.
