It can be so hard to find a vet to trust with the care of your pet. We lucked out with Huron, as they were one of the first places we visited and we could not have found anywhere better. We love every vet here, as well as the fantastic support staff. They are knowledgeable, skilled, and truly empathetic. The take great care of our little guy, and they do fantastic education to help us be the best owners we can be. If you’re able to make this place your vet, you absolutely should.

Avoid this unprofessional place at all costs!
I had arranged an initial appointment last Friday to establish a vet relationship for my dog. I showed up at my appointment time, after taking time off from work, to accommodate their inconveinent hours, and fought through 45 minutes of rush hour traffic only to be told that someone at the office had accidentally rescheduled my appointment to that morning, with no discussion with or notification to myself.
The woman at the desk informed me that I could reschedule, or sit around and wait to see if someone else didn't show up, which is a ridiculous waste of time after I already had an appointment scheduled a month in advance. She offered no explanation as to how or why this occurred and didn't try to remediate the situation or even offer an apology for the situation that was solely the fault of their "front office" and severely inconvenienced someone who was a potential customer for many years to come. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere organized, professional and who values their customers and the experiences they have! How they treat their customers says a ton about their lacking respect and professionalism and that attitude inevitably transfers to the treatment of your pets as well!

I have to respectfully disagree with the most recent one star review. The manager (I assume they mean the woman at the front desk, though I don’t know her official title) was incredibly nice and even knew who we (and our cat!) were when we walked in. They were so nice to our cat Sal and treated him with so much kindness and respect. Sal is our first cat, so they spent over an hour with us talking about care, common illnesses, and behaviors. We didn’t feel rushed at all and they made it as easy as possible on our terrified kitty, letting him stay in the crate for most of the visit and comforting him before vaccinations and other treatments. Highly recommend, I wouldn’t go anywhere else in this area.

New to state. Decided to try this place due to all the positive reviews. I couldn’t agree with them less. Short staffed, uncaring, dismissive and a very inexperienced giggly “manager” working on saturdays. My recommendation: avoid. Plenty of other vet clinics around town.

I've been going to Huron for about six years now, and they have never failed to be friendly, accommodating, and responsive with all of my pets. They've fit me in to more than a few same-day visits! I love both Dr. Leef and Dr. Ulrich - I couldn't recommend them more!

Dr. Ulrich's professional mannerism and soothing voice towards the animals and their respective parents are very much appreciated by many of his clients! Both of my beloved cats have been seeing Dr. Ulrich for years and there is a reason why I would drive from Arlington (more than 25 minutes each way) to his clinic for any emergencies or regular visits. I would strongly recommend that you bring your pet to this clinic; especially if you are new to the area.

These guys are the best. Their love for animals really shows. When I couldn't get an emergency appointment (which is incredibly rare) because Dr. Ulrich was in surgery, he recommended a good alternative, walked me through the possible causes of the situation and even called me back that evening to check in and go over the other vet's findings, without even charging me. He's amazing and my cat loves him. I couldn't rate this place high enough.

When I moved to Cambridge I found a vet online & my cat, who was 16 at the time, had a very negative reaction to him. Which was weird because she was usually very calm in vet visits. I took that as a sign & kept looking. When I found Dr. Ulrich I knew I'd found our vet. The staff are wonderful & even agreed to have her favourite toy cremated with her when it was her time. Now that I have a new kitty, who turns 17 next month, the techs fawn over her. Now that I have moved to the other side of town I have no intention of going anywhere else.

My cat used to get so frightened and belligerent at the vet's office that he had to be knocked out in order for the doctor to examine him. When Dr. Ullrich took over the practice, that changed. I wouldn't go so far as to say that Gonga enjoys going to the vet, but he really seems to like the doctor and he's pretty cooperative with him. That makes a huge difference.

My cat is my baby. 'Nuff said. Now, I don't touch him with kid gloves, I mean, we roughhouse and the like, but I really appreciate that Dr. Ulrich was gentle with my nervous cat. Genie is a TOTAL mama's boy. Anyhow, Dr. Ulrich examined him thoroughly and listened to my concerns without making me feel like an overbearing cat-mom. Kudos! More kudos for not trying to get me to perform expensive and unnecessary tests on my cat...as ridiculous as a $100 blood test to re-check an old problem that is very likely not a problem sounds, I always feel guilty NOT blowing my retirement savings on making sure my boy is 100% healthy. I left without a stitch of that! Plus, the bill was at least half of what I paid at my last vet for a check up. Seriously. My cat must have been happy with the visit, too; his ""I-hate-you-for-taking-me-out-in-the-cold"" 'tude disappeared quite quickly!

It can be so hard to find a vet to trust with the care of your pet. We lucked out with Huron, as they were one of the first places we visited and we could not have found anywhere better. We love every vet here, as well as the fantastic support staff. They are knowledgeable, skilled, and truly empathetic. The take great care of our little guy, and they do fantastic education to help us be the best owners we can be. If you’re able to make this place your vet, you absolutely should.

The manager (I assume they mean the woman at the front desk, though I don’t know her official title) was incredibly nice and even knew who we (and our cat!) were when we walked in. Dr. Ulrich's professional mannerism and soothing voice towards the animals and their respective parents are very much appreciated by many of his clients! Both of my beloved cats have been seeing Dr. Ulrich for years and there is a reason why I would drive from Arlington (more than 25 minutes each way) to his clinic for any emergencies or regular visits. These guys are the best. Their love for animals really shows. When I couldn't get an emergency appointment (which is incredibly rare) because Dr. Ulrich was in surgery, he recommended a good alternative, walked me through the possible causes of the situation and even called me back that evening to check in and go over the other vet's findings, without even charging me. My cat used to get so frightened and belligerent at the vet's office that he had to be knocked out in order for the doctor to examine him. When Dr. Ullrich took over the practice, that changed.
