My horse was moving stiffly. Dr Parrott said it might be age, but did a Lyme titre "just to be sure". Sure enough it was Lyme, and a course of antibiotics later my horse is feeling much better!Nice ...
My horse was moving stiffly. Dr Parrott said it might be age, but did a Lyme titre "just to be sure". Sure enough it was Lyme, and a course of antibiotics later my horse is feeling much better!Nice to have a vet who thinks about alternatives.

If you are looking for a great all around equine vet service, with great support staff as well as caring vets. Parrott Equine Assoc would be a great choice. I have used a couple other vet services over the years while I have been out of the area. I still find Parrott Equine to be the best

I used Parrott Equine Associates to do a simple Coggins and health certificate for my horses before they were shipped. This is such a simple, standard, procedure but they literally screwed everything ...
I used Parrott Equine Associates to do a simple Coggins and health certificate for my horses before they were shipped. This is such a simple, standard, procedure but they literally screwed everything up. The horses names were wrong, markings were wrong, breed was wrong on one of the horses, shipping address was wrong. They kept calling me to get more information that the vet didn't get when she was out originally. This whole process added half a week from the time I was supposed to get the paperwork back. thank god the shipper came a day late or it would have screwed me over! I would never use this office again, they are disorganized and rude. And when they said that the info was wrong for the horses breed that they would have to come out and do another blood draw and I would have to PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKE. are you kidding me?!?! I have no idea about actual veterinary talent, but with all of this disorganization I wouldn't even trust them to keep track of which horse needed which treatment. Highly, highly, encourage people to find another veterinary practice. Plus they were over-priced for this whole ordeal.

If you are looking for a great all around equine vet service, with great support staff as well as caring vets. Parrott Equine Assoc would be a great choice. I have used a couple other vet services over the years while I have been out of the area. I still find Parrott Equine to be the best
