Hey folks, just wanted to share my experience with the doctors at Sturbridge Veterinary.. on February 9th, 2015, he was diagnosed with an incurable cancer and was given little hope by the vet on duty..and yes, he was detached from what I felt, not very concerned, but you have to understand that in any medical field you will have some doctors with a "bedside" personality and some without. Dr. Koretsky, whom I met with after the initial diagnosis, explained all the options and best suitable care for the time Diesle had left. I was then able to give him almost a year of all the cheeseburgers and steak he could eat, Dr. Koretsky kept in constant contact on his health and well being as did Dr. frost, whom I had met with when needed., I brought him to Sturbridge surgery for his procedure which gave him almost a full year of extended life and they were also amazing. That being said, think of how the medical community is today and how cold and impartial it is....I as a pet owner learned a great deal on how to better understand what questions to ask when I adopt another dog in the future thanks to Dr Koretsky and the staff. Ask questions if your not satisfied - just as you would if it was your child. They are a member of the family after all.. Read Less
