I recently moved to the area and was distraught about leaving my trusted vet in the city, but am so happy I've found a wonderful place in Sudbury! As any pet owner knows, the veterinary experience is equally about how they make you feel, in addition to your fur-baby. My cat had his first checkup there, and they treated both of us incredibly well. It's clear that the vets and techs genuinely love what they do, and they moved through the exam with care and compassion. My kitty was so comfortable, he actually sat down on the table and didn't want to leave.The reviews are true - this is truly a great hospital!

They've taken care of 3 generations of my cats. They are friendly, knowledgeable, supportive - clearly animal lovers! They are also very open about the pros and cons of each treatment and never push to do a treatment just for the money or just to extend the (unhappy) life of a pet. My cats have been treated by most of the vets and nurses there and I would highly recommend them all.

The staff and doctors at Sudbury Animal Hospital are simply amazing. We have been seeing them for 8 years for our cat, and our dog. For routine care and anytime we've had any sort of situation, they have been caring, kind, and patient. They spend the time needed to answer questions, and ensure our pets are getting the right care. They are sympathetic in difficult situations and always working with us to find the best solution. We have an elderly cat who has developed a number other problems and the staff has been great at helping us. I drive past other vet offices to get there and cannot recommend them highly enough!They also have great hours with several later evenings and Saturdays which really helps with scheduling!

I have taken both of my rescue kitties here and had multiple great experiences. Today they saw us same day when my newest kitty started having stomach problems. He did not respond well to being checked up and was very upset from being in his crate. Dr. Alexander and her team were so patient and kind towards him despite his biting and hissing. They held him down perfectly in order to treat him properly despite him not being a particularly nice patient. I really appreciated their kind nature and their excellent care of our newest family member. We will be coming back for a long time!

We have used Sudbury Animal Hospital since the late 1980s when we lived in town. We have always found them to be compassionate, knowledgeable and professional. About 25 years ago, w e moved about 30 minutes away and continue to use them. They have taken care of many of our cats and dogs with various issues and we could not be happier with the care our animals have received and also with the way that we have been treated by the veterinary staff and the support staff. They are responsive and helpful - always.

This is an outstanding practice as far as my husband, my friend Deb and myself are concerned. They have taken extra special care of all my dogs over 30 years. They have always explained my options caring for my pets esp. as they aged. I have always appreciated the advice and respect there opinions. I have also never had an issue getting my heart worm from a cheaper source (Dr Foster and Smith online) with the assistance (prescription) from Sudbury vets. I will not hesitate to recommend this practice to any pet owner. If we get another, since we had to recently put our beloved setter down, we will look forward to seeing our trusted Drs. We've been using Sudbury Animal Hospital for over 20 years, and the standard of care, knowledge, and kindness of both the doctors and staff is outstanding. Unlike the experience of the person who posted below, we've *never* had unnecessary tests pushed on us, and the doctors have *always* explained all the options and let us make our own choice. I would recommend them to any pet owner without hesitation.

Not that they needed ANOTHER 5 star review, but I am blown away by this place. After recently moving to the area I have found the perfect vet. They were fast, responsive, quick, efficient got me right into the room. The doc and assistant were there right on time and super friendly and not judgey for all my paranoid cat questions!They were kind to my kitties and explained things very well!The price was only slightly more than PetSmart which is pretty cheap - what an experience!!!!!!!!!!!

If only I could give 10 stars! My furry friend is happy and alive today because of SAH. Six months ago, I took my cat to tufts vet for emergency care. Poor guy was in pain every time he had to go to the litter box. We showed the doctors there a video of him crying in pain in the box and they pretty much laughed because they had never seen or heard anything like it before. He was stuck at this vet for three days by what seemed like a bunch of students probably poking and prodding him like a lab rat all day. He was not very happy when we took him home and still did not feel any better. ON top of that, they couldn't tell me what was wrong with him and just sent him home as having a possible UTI. We however, end up self diagnosing him with constipation so switched his dry food to wet food and fixed the problem after spending X amount of $$$ at tufts and was sent home with a 6 page long receipt. Fast forward 6 months, my buddy started making the same noises again and end up being backed up for over 3 days. I called SAH for the very first time not knowing what to expect as I have never been there before. They took me in right away. The doctor took care of my buddy, gave him an enema and a few hours later I was able to take him home. Three days later, he was still backed up so I called back. It was a Saturday and this time, they were fully booked. A different doctor working that day asked to bring him in right away and would see him in between appointments. Again, few hours later, they called me back to pick him up. This time, he was definitely emptied out and looked so much better. I was worried that this would have ended up being a permanent problem if not worse. Today, my cat is finally back to his normal self and the only difference is that he poops like a human, this may require a snow shovel for clean up soon! I truly believe his belly would have exploded if I had not taken him to SAH. Thank you for saving my cat! Did I mention, I only spent a fraction of what it cost at the first vet we took him to and less than 6 line items on a one page receipt. We have three other kids that will require their future care. Will definitely be bringing them here. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!!

I brought my eight-year-old cat to this hospital for a checkup. I was pleasantly greeted and told that I was already on the database even though I have not been there and just to report a loss of a missing cat. That need signing in very easy. I dropped my cat off and went to run some errands and came back in about a half an hour. I spoke with the doctor and she checked my cat and gave me good advice on how much to feed her. We had a nice discussion about checkups vaccines in the safety of vaccines and fact that they also to titer test at this hospital which is what I was looking for. The doctor was very knowledgeable and compassionate and I said to real caring about the year the animals and also the owner. I really like the way that I was treated here. The fees were very reasonable here. The next time I go to a vet this is the office of my choice and I highly recommend it.

I can see that they get only good reviews, and they deserve them! They are absolutely great. Although the facility is slightly underwhelming when you first visit, it's clean, organized, functional and totally fine for the purpose, especially considered that they are not a 24/7 facility (unfortunately!!!). What really matters though, is that all vets and staff truly show that they are passionate about the job and are very very understanding, compassionate, relaxed, competent, thorough and money is always secondary. That's what you want to see in a vets' offfice! We have insurance, but we appreciate every gesture of not charging for little stuff, and undercharging for bigger stuff. They are also very flexible and give sound advice. You never want to have to go to the vets, but if you have to, I hope you can go there!

Talk about compassionate, friendly, animal lovers! The staff and vets are some of the nicest people I've ever met and the facility is great. I completely trust their judgement in what my puppy needs but they also give me options to make my own judgement, which helps me feel informed and involved about the decisions that are happening to my dog. What I also love about this vet is they never try to force upon and products or treatments. Getting an appointment is always easy/ convenient, as well as the vets are always willing to come to the phone is you have a concern that needs to be addressed.

After years of bad experiences with area vets, I have been with the Sudbury Animal Hospital for about 15 years. They are competent, compassionate, and very helpful. Dr. Sinnegin even came out to the house to put our very old Jack Russell to sleep so our "baby" wouldn't have to leave us in the vet's office. When my dogs have tests, surgery, or illness I always get a call checking on them.I agree the staff at the front desk can seem rather brusk, but they are under a great deal of pressure. Since I like the vets (there is a total of five, and I like them all) I try to overlook the others.Maybe the previous reviewer caught them on a really bad day??

What a great staff! There is a husband and wife team of veterinarians here that run the office and see most of the animals. The front desk staff is helpful and prompt, and have always managed to get me in for appointments at convenient times.We came her first 10 years ago when we got a free screening visit after adopting our dog from Buddy Dog, and have stuck with them. Great care, and a lot of honesty about the cost vs. benefits of recommended treatments.

For nearly 20 yrs my family and I have brought our 6 animals to Sudbury Animal Hospital. When my dog Morgan ripped her stitches after getting spade, they quickly worked to fix the problem and did not over charge. Later, when Morgan got diagnosed with throat cancer, they helped give Morgan a graceful and merciful send off. I remember the compassion in the vets face as we sobbed.
When I moved to Vermont for a few years I had to find a different veternarian. The cat we adopted ended up throwing up blood etc. Of the specialists and two vet clinics I brought Calvin to, none were able to properly diagnose the issue. After moving back to the area I brought Cal in for a routine check-up and the doctor was able to diagnose it on the first visit.
We love our animals and know that SAH always has their best interests in mind. They are by far the best vet clinic I have ever been to and I highly recomend them for exceptional service!

I recently moved to the area and was distraught about leaving my trusted vet in the city, but am so happy I've found a wonderful place in Sudbury! As any pet owner knows, the veterinary experience is equally about how they make you feel, in addition to your fur-baby. My cat had his first checkup there, and they treated both of us incredibly well. It's clear that the vets and techs genuinely love what they do, and they moved through the exam with care and compassion. My kitty was so comfortable, he actually sat down on the table and didn't want to leave.The reviews are true - this is truly a great hospital!

They've taken care of 3 generations of my cats. They are friendly, knowledgeable, supportive - clearly animal lovers! They are also very open about the pros and cons of each treatment and never push to do a treatment just for the money or just to extend the (unhappy) life of a pet. My cats have been treated by most of the vets and nurses there and I would highly recommend them all.

The staff and doctors at Sudbury Animal Hospital are simply amazing. We have been seeing them for 8 years for our cat, and our dog. For routine care and anytime we've had any sort of situation, they have been caring, kind, and patient. They spend the time needed to answer questions, and ensure our pets are getting the right care. They are sympathetic in difficult situations and always working with us to find the best solution. We have an elderly cat who has developed a number other problems and the staff has been great at helping us. I drive past other vet offices to get there and cannot recommend them highly enough!They also have great hours with several later evenings and Saturdays which really helps with scheduling!

I have taken both of my rescue kitties here and had multiple great experiences. Today they saw us same day when my newest kitty started having stomach problems. He did not respond well to being checked up and was very upset from being in his crate. Dr. Alexander and her team were so patient and kind towards him despite his biting and hissing. They held him down perfectly in order to treat him properly despite him not being a particularly nice patient. I really appreciated their kind nature and their excellent care of our newest family member. We will be coming back for a long time!

We have used Sudbury Animal Hospital since the late 1980s when we lived in town. We have always found them to be compassionate, knowledgeable and professional. About 25 years ago, w e moved about 30 minutes away and continue to use them. They have taken care of many of our cats and dogs with various issues and we could not be happier with the care our animals have received and also with the way that we have been treated by the veterinary staff and the support staff. They are responsive and helpful - always.

This is an outstanding practice as far as my husband, my friend Deb and myself are concerned. They have taken extra special care of all my dogs over 30 years. They have always explained my options caring for my pets esp. as they aged. I have always appreciated the advice and respect there opinions. I have also never had an issue getting my heart worm from a cheaper source (Dr Foster and Smith online) with the assistance (prescription) from Sudbury vets. I will not hesitate to recommend this practice to any pet owner. If we get another, since we had to recently put our beloved setter down, we will look forward to seeing our trusted Drs. We've been using Sudbury Animal Hospital for over 20 years, and the standard of care, knowledge, and kindness of both the doctors and staff is outstanding. Unlike the experience of the person who posted below, we've *never* had unnecessary tests pushed on us, and the doctors have *always* explained all the options and let us make our own choice. I would recommend them to any pet owner without hesitation.

They were fast, responsive, quick, efficient got me right into the room. The doc and assistant were there right on time and super friendly and not judgey for all my paranoid cat questions!They were kind to my kitties and explained things very well!The price was only slightly more than PetSmart which is pretty cheap - what an experience!!!!!!!!!!!

If only I could give 10 stars! My furry friend is happy and alive today because of SAH. Six months ago, I took my cat to tufts vet for emergency care. Poor guy was in pain every time he had to go to the litter box. We showed the doctors there a video of him crying in pain in the box and they pretty much laughed because they had never seen or heard anything like it before. He was stuck at this vet for three days by what seemed like a bunch of students probably poking and prodding him like a lab rat all day. He was not very happy when we took him home and still did not feel any better. ON top of that, they couldn't tell me what was wrong with him and just sent him home as having a possible UTI. We however, end up self diagnosing him with constipation so switched his dry food to wet food and fixed the problem after spending X amount of $$$ at tufts and was sent home with a 6 page long receipt. Fast forward 6 months, my buddy started making the same noises again and end up being backed up for over 3 days. I called SAH for the very first time not knowing what to expect as I have never been there before. They took me in right away. The doctor took care of my buddy, gave him an enema and a few hours later I was able to take him home. Three days later, he was still backed up so I called back. It was a Saturday and this time, they were fully booked. A different doctor working that day asked to bring him in right away and would see him in between appointments. Again, few hours later, they called me back to pick him up. This time, he was definitely emptied out and looked so much better. I was worried that this would have ended up being a permanent problem if not worse. Today, my cat is finally back to his normal self and the only difference is that he poops like a human, this may require a snow shovel for clean up soon! I truly believe his belly would have exploded if I had not taken him to SAH. Thank you for saving my cat! Did I mention, I only spent a fraction of what it cost at the first vet we took him to and less than 6 line items on a one page receipt. We have three other kids that will require their future care. Will definitely be bringing them here. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!!

I brought my eight-year-old cat to this hospital for a checkup. I was pleasantly greeted and told that I was already on the database even though I have not been there and just to report a loss of a missing cat. That need signing in very easy. I dropped my cat off and went to run some errands and came back in about a half an hour. I spoke with the doctor and she checked my cat and gave me good advice on how much to feed her. We had a nice discussion about checkups vaccines in the safety of vaccines and fact that they also to titer test at this hospital which is what I was looking for. The doctor was very knowledgeable and compassionate and I said to real caring about the year the animals and also the owner. I really like the way that I was treated here. The fees were very reasonable here. The next time I go to a vet this is the office of my choice and I highly recommend it.

I can see that they get only good reviews, and they deserve them! They are absolutely great. Although the facility is slightly underwhelming when you first visit, it's clean, organized, functional and totally fine for the purpose, especially considered that they are not a 24/7 facility (unfortunately!!!). What really matters though, is that all vets and staff truly show that they are passionate about the job and are very very understanding, compassionate, relaxed, competent, thorough and money is always secondary. That's what you want to see in a vets' offfice! We have insurance, but we appreciate every gesture of not charging for little stuff, and undercharging for bigger stuff. They are also very flexible and give sound advice. You never want to have to go to the vets, but if you have to, I hope you can go there!

Talk about compassionate, friendly, animal lovers! The staff and vets are some of the nicest people I've ever met and the facility is great. I completely trust their judgement in what my puppy needs but they also give me options to make my own judgement, which helps me feel informed and involved about the decisions that are happening to my dog. What I also love about this vet is they never try to force upon and products or treatments. Getting an appointment is always easy/ convenient, as well as the vets are always willing to come to the phone is you have a concern that needs to be addressed.

After years of bad experiences with area vets, I have been with the Sudbury Animal Hospital for about 15 years. They are competent, compassionate, and very helpful. Dr. Sinnegin even came out to the house to put our very old Jack Russell to sleep so our "baby" wouldn't have to leave us in the vet's office. When my dogs have tests, surgery, or illness I always get a call checking on them.I agree the staff at the front desk can seem rather brusk, but they are under a great deal of pressure. Since I like the vets (there is a total of five, and I like them all) I try to overlook the others.Maybe the previous reviewer caught them on a really bad day??

What a great staff! There is a husband and wife team of veterinarians here that run the office and see most of the animals. The front desk staff is helpful and prompt, and have always managed to get me in for appointments at convenient times.We came her first 10 years ago when we got a free screening visit after adopting our dog from Buddy Dog, and have stuck with them. Great care, and a lot of honesty about the cost vs. benefits of recommended treatments.

For nearly 20 yrs my family and I have brought our 6 animals to Sudbury Animal Hospital. When my dog Morgan ripped her stitches after getting spade, they quickly worked to fix the problem and did not over charge. Later, when Morgan got diagnosed with throat cancer, they helped give Morgan a graceful and merciful send off. I remember the compassion in the vets face as we sobbed.
When I moved to Vermont for a few years I had to find a different veternarian. The cat we adopted ended up throwing up blood etc. Of the specialists and two vet clinics I brought Calvin to, none were able to properly diagnose the issue. After moving back to the area I brought Cal in for a routine check-up and the doctor was able to diagnose it on the first visit.
We love our animals and know that SAH always has their best interests in mind. They are by far the best vet clinic I have ever been to and I highly recomend them for exceptional service!
