I have been bringing my 2 cats here for several years. I have found EVERYONE to be knowledgeable and helpful. They provide great information to help with decision making and can also help you balance between cost and quality of life. I appreciate it that their love and concern for all pets is very obvious. My little papillion had a horrible ear infection and an infected tooth.  The staff and doctors here are all so gentle and kind with her, and thorough.  She had to have a procedure under anesthesia and I was quite scared because she's fifteen years old and only 6 lbs.They did an outstanding job.  She was then sick from the anesthesia, which is common for dogs her age and size, but the whole staff continued to call and monitor her, had her in for injected fluids to ensure she didn't experience dehydration, and explained the various medications and home care every time I asked.I would recommend them to everyone! Best vet I've ever seen -- I feel like Dr. Dyer really cares about her patients and makes sure that I am knowledgeable and comfortable with what's happening with the health of my dog. Even the techs and assistants dedicate themselves and meet the patients where they are at. For me, my dog happens to have fear based reactiveness, and they've always treated him with respect and kindness and never once muzzled him, where other places had in the past. They helped me with finding resources to treat his behavior and never judged me for the work I was doing with Cooper, knowing full well the difficulty of reactive dogs. They even noticed how much better and trusting he has gotten! Cooper feels comfortable (as comfortable as a vet visit can be), and it's all because of the staff. I'm so grateful for it. My 15 year old Chihuahua, Buddy, was cared for by Dr. Dyer and her wonderful staff up until he passed away from cancer. Through the years of Buddy's care at Boston Road Animal Clinic I always felt they cared about Buddy just as much as I did. They were always tender, compassionate and very professional. After Buddy passed I rescued another Chihuahua, Rusty. His treatment by the staff is just as wonderful. I wouldn't go anywhere else with my animals. Read Less

Dr Carey Dyer is without a doubt the best vet we have ever had for our animals. Her staff is caring and talented. They fit us in almost immediately if one of our animals is having a problem. They are always cheery and upbeat The equality of care received is always excellent. They do it right the first time, every time. They never rush us and always take the time to listen to all of our concerns. They do not dictate, rather they present us with any available options for treatment and let us decide. Hands down, the best! They have cared for our cats as if they were their own. They helped us manage Prince's diabetes and Peaches Louise's liver disease. I have a new puppy and was visiting my boyfriend.  The puppy had some remaining bowel issues.  I called the office one morning and they were able to get me an appointment that same day.  The office is clean and all of the staff extremely professional and helpful.  We were seen both by an assistant and a Veteranarian who was extremely patient, knowledgeable and through.  She checked the puppy literally from head to toe and was very patient in explaining procedures and care for the puppy.  We will definitely be back! We just moved to the area and needed to find a new vet for our 3 year old pup.  We came here for his annual check up, to get a couple shots, etc.  The staff here is very friendly and treated our dog like their own.  They were very professional and got everything done in a timely manner.  I am very happy we found Boston Road Animal Clinic, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area!! We were very upset when this clinic accidentally gave our puppy two rabies shots in a two week period. The unsupervised assistant who erroneously gave our puppy a 2nd vaccination, did so even though a rabies tag that was prominently displayed on the puppy's collar. It was unclear if the assistant checked the paper records, the electronic records or no records at all. It wasn't until the assistant mentioned that we'd get a rabies tag when we left, that the issue was discovered. There was a loud discussion in the back of the office about confusion as to which dog was being treated at which time. We can only hope our puppy (who vomited that evening) will not have an adverse reaction to the double dosage in the future - there is no way to know. Read Less

I recently brought my cat into see the vet a few weeks ago. I was looking for a particular kind of vet who would love my animals as much as I do. I have been disappointed more often than not when coming to a vet. In this case I was amazed! I brought my brand new kitten in and she and I were treated so well by the staff and the vet herself. My kitty was given a toy to play with to keep herself busy throughout the office. I was given great advice on my kittens care and even received a tutorial on cutting her nails. I feel the staff at this office truly have love for the animals that they see and I feel 110% comfortable bringing my animals here. They offer multi-cat discounts which are great since vet care can get expensive! They also offer you great options on insurance options for your pet. I can't imagine bringing my animals anywhere else. Read Less

I don't know who Dr Berger is. Apparently he sold the clinic to Dr. Cary Dyer some time ago and she and her staff are simply supurb. They have expanded the hospital and it is really something. I was dismayed by one of the reviews I saw for Boston Road Animal Clinic. I don't know who this Dr. Berger is. Apparently he sold the practice some time ago to Dr Cary Dyer. Took my dog here after he was recommended. My dog licked him and he was disgusted, kept complaining about it. He is very expensive but that would have been okay if he treated me or my dog well. Instead he was borderline insulting to me charged a lot of money, and make a poor diagnosis of my dog's condition. I had to go to another vet to fix the problem. Would NOT recommend. Read Less
