Well, lets put 2+2 together here... The symptoms of feline lyme disease is lethargy, swollen or stiff joints, lack of appetite, dehydration, inactivity, fever. My cat, who is not even 2 years old, a voracious eater and active cat, is sleeping all day, refusing to eat, when he is up, walking very uncomfortably, and seeming to run a fever. After checking him myself, i find a very engorged tick on his neck. But the vet says, ""Oh, I don't believe cats get lyme disease. They are immune because of mice."" WHAT?!?!? Try a little research, Doc... I did... Only reason I'm not stopping payment on my check is because at least my cat got an antibiotic. If you're too disinterested to treat the animals people entrust to you, then go ahead and retire and spend your time fishing or hunting where you can kill animals in a more socially acceptable manner.
