They were pleasant, accommodating, professional and treated both my pet and myself well. Would definitely recommend this vet.

Dr. O'Neil and all the staff here are amazing. We recently had to put our cat down after a good fight to clear up a bad kidney infection. It was a tough decision, but Dr. O'Neil and the rest of the staff were so caring and empathetic. I came home today to find a hand written personalized sympathy letter signed by the staff which brought tears to my eyes. Just a wonderful hospital!

Everyone is so compassionate and sweet and you can feel how much hey truly care for the pet. From checking in, the girls come say hi and pet and then even during the appointment, the doctors actually get right on the floor and give full attention to the matter at hand. Highly recommended!

We were lucky enough to have found Townsend Veterinary 9 years ago now. We would trust no others with our fur babies! We have more cats than I would like to admit to and 1 dog and drive 40 mins to the hospital. That is how much we love these caring individuals. They are cutting edge with technology and remain current and devoted to their profession. We always get good advice and feel they treat us like family.

My cat, Trixie, was suffering from a terrible case of constipation that required surgery to remove it. Out of all the vets I called for help, Townsend Veterinary Hospital was the only place that would take her on such short notice and they were incredible. Within a few hours of the procedure Trixie is eating and acting like her old self again. Thank you to the staff at this office for being there in Trixie's time of need. You're amazing people.

I have been with Townsend Veterinary Hosp for over 10 years. All staff members have always been caring and informative. I recently have had to put my best fur friend to sleep. Dr O' Niel was so caring to my pet and also very concerned about my feelings. It was comforting to know my pet wound find peace in such a caring way. I want to thank everyone at TVH for all their dedication and for giving my precious girl Anya the best care of her 13 years of life.

Townsend Vet Hospital is not my regular vet as I live an hour away. I have used them three times for surgeries on my dog. They have been nothing but amazing. Kind, compassionate and helpful at all times. During all these surgeries (two ACL and one to try to remove a tumor in his jaw) they were in constant contact with me, always got someone for me to speak with when I called and seemed to really take not only my dogs health into consideration, but my feelings as well. Unfortunately, I lost my dog, Angus, to ostesarcoma in August. The way the vets and the staff handled this was about the only thing that got me through this horrible, unexpected loss. From the girls at the desk, to the techs to Dr. Easley, I know Angus (and I) received the best care possible and that brings such comfort to me. I have had lots of animals and been to many vets in my life but have rarely had the continuous positive experiences I do with this clinic. My only complaint is I live too far away to use them regularly, but I am so grateful to know they are there for any serious issues that arise with my pets.

Called once staff was rude and uninformative. Telling me cats are not carnivores and to put them on an all grain diet. Obviously they need some classes on pet nutrition and they need to save the stupid sales pitch of pro plan and science diet. I didn't need some sales pitch to get your office kick back. And oh yea forgot to mention them telling me I couldn't afford things because I got a free kitten. Yea I would say rude staff!

Unfortunately I wasn't aware of this hospital until it was too late and had to lay my little Pug Spunky to rest. He lived 13 full years and when the time came your hospital was referred to me. From when I made the phone call, and when we arrived I was a mess and we were greeted with such care and concern and most of all Compassion. Thank you for your heartfelt concern and care. We received your card in the mail today which was a surprise, a thoughtful one. Thank you again. I wish I would have known about your office prior to this, I would have definitely brought him there for his healthy check-ups.

When I got my two GSD/lab mixes in 2012, they were extremely sick with what ended up being parvovirus. I called a local vet explaining the symptoms and they told me they had no available appointments....
When I got my two GSD/lab mixes in 2012, they were extremely sick with what ended up being parvovirus. I called a local vet explaining the symptoms and they told me they had no available appointments. I then called TVH and they told me to come in right away. My dogs spent the better part of their first week with me at TVH getting emergency care and that is likely the reason that they are alive today. I highly recommend TVH to anyone looking for a local vet!

It was a tough decision, but Dr. O'Neil and the rest of the staff were so caring and empathetic. My cat, Trixie, was suffering from a terrible case of constipation that required surgery to remove it. Out of all the vets I called for help, Townsend Veterinary Hospital was the only place that would take her on such short notice and they were incredible. Townsend Vet Hospital is not my regular vet as I live an hour away. I have used them three times for surgeries on my dog. They have been nothing but amazing. Kind, compassionate and helpful at all times. Unfortunately I wasn't aware of this hospital until it was too late and had to lay my little Pug Spunky to rest. He lived 13 full years and when the time came your hospital was referred to me.
