She is caring, embedded with superior knowledge, empathetic, and can lay it all out for you in layman’s terms. Excellent care! Dr. Silk is THE BEST! She explains what's going on very thoroughly, and gives a lot of attention to my "kids", even when they're only in for vaccinations. I love that this is single practitioner hospital. I've been to a couple of other multi-provider veterinary hospitals, and it's frustrating when you see a different doctor each time you go in there. When we had to have our cat, Cricket, put to sleep, Dr. Silk and her technician, Jenn were so understanding of the enormous pain that caused us. They handled Cricket with such loving care in her last moments on earth. We will never forget that, and are so grateful for their kindness. My husband and I don't have children, so our dogs and cats are the biggest source of happiness in our lives - like human children are for their parents. Trust in the people who provide healthcare for them is vital. Without a doubt, we trust Dr. Silk, Jen and all the rest of the staff with all of our babies lives.
