All the vets in this practice are wonderful. Even when they are busy, I never feel they are rushing through my dog's appointment. They take their time with great care and make sure nothing is overlooked . I always leave there reassured that I am providing my dog with the best health care available. I had moved back to Wayland a few months ago with a new adopted dog. She is a rescue from Georgia. She started having some issues with her eyes. Thinking it was allergies, I let it go for a week. I then called my vet in NH and she stated I should get her looked at ASAP. I called the WAC and they fit me in immediately. Dr. Purbaugh and his vet technician took complete control with her and she was pretty comfortable, being in a strange place with strange people giving her the once over. I was very impressed by the knowledge and straight forward approach they took, she was diagnosed in no time at all. They even clipped her nails. The quality of care in the Wayland Animal Clinic is excellent. The kind and professional approach is exactly what my pet needed. I found Wayland Animcal clinic about a year ago. I have taken my dog there for a "healthy dog" visit, a couple rounds of shots, and for a hot spot on his tail. Dr. Pinsky did our "healthy dog" check up and she did an amazing job. My dog was abused before I adopted him 3 1/2 years ago and he is still a little shy of new people. She handled him beautifully. I liked that she gave me facts and background on any health issues he was at risk for.The vet techs who have given him his shots have all been great with him. Been going to this animal clinic for 30 yrs. How they  have cared for our dogs is like a Pediatrician would take care of children. They really care about the well being of your pet with a great bedside manner. The office staff is so warm and welcoming. My dog " Riley" loves the hugs she gets at each visit. Read Less

Cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr Pinsky and our experience at Wayland Animal Clinic. We've been bringing our two dogs there for over 4 years now and have never had a problem. Prices are very reasonable. More importantly, the level of care we've received has been amazing. Dr Pinsky has always treated our dogs, and us, with great compassion. She takes her time with you during appointments, is very patient with questions and explains everything thoroughly to us. Our experience with staff and the technicians has been wonderful, as well. As a kid, we always took our animals to Wayland Animal.  Now that I am an adult and have my own pets, Wayland is the only place I would take them.  All the Dr's are knowledgable, caring, understanding and just wonderful with the animals and their owners.  As well, the staff is topnotch and always helpful and a pleasure to interact with. We have not only brought our cats and dogs to Wayland, but now our bunnies.  They have a great understanding of it all and if they don't, they will tell you where to find a place to take them to get the care needed.I couldn't say more about the clinic except if you take your pets to the clinic, you won't go anywhere else.  They really treat you and your pet like family. Terrible front desk service. We brought my very anxious and bladder infected cat all the way from Framingham, we were 10 minutes late and once we got there our appointment was already given to another customer. Never bring or trust your animals with these people they are rude, expensive, and over diagnose for more money. These people will screw you over waste your time and ruin your day. Since 1999 we are clients of a wonderful facility that took and still takes care of our dog. Now it is. GoldenDoodle. Before we had two of German Shepard. A warm, friendly atmosphere and a professional staff. My dog is a bit skittish at the vet but they handle her very calmly and gently. The fees charged are reasonable, too. The veterinarians here are exceptionally well-trained and well-credentialed but are very down to earth as well. It's nice to have a great vet in the neighborhood. Read Less
