Weston Vet has been taking care of my dogs for as long as I've had them. Easy to schedule appointments, they have a pet portal that allows printing of vaccination records online, the staff works well as a team. Dr. Storey is my dogs' vet and I appreciate how thorough he is. I especially like how he does a verbal run through of everything he is checking as he is doing it, so I'm able to see what he's assessing. In instances where it was needed he will tell me the different courses of action and what he recommends. Weston Vet is a big pricier and further away than other vet clinics in my neighborhood but my dogs are in good hands and they are worth it. Read Less

I would like to start by saying that Dr. Michael is awesome. I call him Dr. Michael because I have a hard time pronouncing his last name. Anyways the staff is wonderful also. A couple of weeks ago I took my kitty for his annual checkup & I noticed something that just blew my mind...... they have a candle by the reception desk & when i read the sign it brought tears to my eyes.....it  says something like, WHEN THIS CANDLE IS LIT SOMEONE IS SAYING GOODBYE TO THEIR PET( or loved one). I switched to Weston Veterinary Clinic for my cats a few years ago after my favorite veterinarian left a different practice. We usually see Dr Storey but we've also seen other vets who have been excellent.  I give high ratings to the entire staff for how they relate to my pets, knowledge, customer service, convenience. I also find that this practice is very reasonable in terms of fees and generally does not suggest expensive tests and services that are not necessary. The staff and doctors at Weston Veterinary Clinic genuinely care about their patients. Most recently when our cat was ill, his doctor reached out beyond office hours to communicate and offer guidance. Specialists were found and continuity of care was assured, with the office sending all relevant paperwork and test results. Our vet is excellent and very nice. That being said, this clinic is VERY expensive, and sometime they push unnecessary medications and treatments too hard. I was worried about my puppy getting two shots in one day, so I wanted to do one on our first visit, and the second a week later. What I was not made aware of at the time, however, was that he was going to have ANOTHER check up COSTING $60 AGAIN. It wasn't necessary, and if they knew I was coming in for just a shot, I feel like they should have let me know.In the future, I'll be looking for different vets. Read Less

I have continued to go there with my own pets, even though I have moved further away and there are plenty of vets that are closer to home. We were so lucky to discover Weston Vet in 2001 and stayed with them through our move for years, until 2015 when our cats just couldn't handle the lengthy ride any longer. We brought our very first cat Toonces to meet Dr. Neil Storey 15 years ago. He was great with her and us as first time pet owners. Toonces suffers from chronic UTI's, we believe from over cleaning herself and due to her very long silky hair. However, Dr. Storey always went above and beyond to research what could be the cause, and assist us in figuring out the unknown problem when it started. Then came Sequoia (aka Trouble, as he coined her) who quickly because famous for chewing on doorstoppers. Not once but twice.... Sadly, Sequoia became suddenly ill with kidney failure late into her 6th year and Dr. Storey did all he could to assist us in making her as comfortable as possible. Upon her crossing of the Rainbow Bridge, he was compassionate, kind, and so generous to make a donation in her name to Tufts Vet Medical Hospital. And then came Maya, and Ozzy.... well Maya has been a handful, extremely feisty from day one. She is the total opposite of most cats, and doesn't keep herself clean enough. This has lead to needing sedated grooming every few months. Although its not something they do regularly, Weston was willing to work with us to assist in keeping Maya clean. We worked out a system together of a modified lion cut. Only once did she escape, (being her overly feisty self) and cause a huge ruckus in the office running around crazy, hissing, and hiding under the receptionist desk where I was able to get her to calm down and walk into her carrier. In all the years, this was the only difficult time we experienced. Maya will always be a handful. And lastly Ozzy, our 25 pound Maine Coon, who we were advised to easy up on the feedings but otherwise has been an awesome cat and very entertaining for them to see him. Through all our animal up and down moments, we love Weston Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Storey and the staff who consistently worked with us addressing our concerns, questions, and being so loving to our pets even when they were challenging. If there was a Weston Vet office to open closer to the North Shore, we would be there in a heartbeat! We miss you, as do our pets! When I arrived for Chance's appointment. The power was out at the office. The staff was still able to help and able to take care of Chance's appointment. There was only one accociate that was frustrated with the outage and didn't make me feel welcome. Otherwise I was not concerned with the outage and neither was my dog. This veterinary clinic is clean, efficient and and has wonderful doctors.  I have been a pet-owner my entire life, and am consistently thrilled with the warmth of the staff and how caring they are with my golden.  They also call you back when there has been a lab test, and are proactive.  I use Dr. Storey who is absolutely wonderful!  He is gentle, practical, and very knowledgeable.  The true test is with Maggie. She actually runs to get in the door! We are so happy that we found this practice after being unhappy with our previous vet. They are a bit expensive, but take excellent care of our dog. We have been going to Weston Vetrinary Clinic for the last 6 years. My husband and I have a 8 year old Red Nose Pitbull & we recently adopted a Catahoula Leopard Dog who is almost 9 months old. Our Pitbull Amber, had a horrible experience with our previous vet and as a result became completely terrified of anyone who tried to examine her. From the time we walked into the WVC doors, to today, Amber has come leaps and bounds. I simply cannot speak highly enough about this team. Dr. Krawshuk & all of the docs/staff treat our pups as if they were their own. Their extensive knowledge, skills and positive energy have helped us get through normal day to day occurrences with our fur-kids to some really major ones. Customer service goes a long way, and Weston Vet Clinic has won me over. The staff is amicable and professional, and I feel amazingly comfortable taking my pet there. I feel my cat gets the best treatment he can. The folks at the front desk greet me warmly and are easy to work with. There are multiple veterinarians (I don't believe all work concurrently, but I could be wrong) and I've had Dr. Kelly Bentley who is very sweet. Everyone truly cares for animals here! The clinic is on route 20 right off 95 on the Weston side, easy to get to. It seems to be an addition to a residential house so it has a homely feel on the outside, but inside is a nice facility. Keep an eye out for the sign at the top of the driveway because it's not a commercial lot. For those concerned about finance, the services are a bit on the expensive side - about $60 just for an exam not including vaccinations for my cat - but if you can afford it, go there. You won't regret the treatment both you and your pet receive. Furthermore, they have a nice website and you can also learn about tips, promotions and such from their e-newsletter. Coming here has got to be hands down one of the best experiences with a vet I've ever had!! I brought my foster dog here to get checked out for an issue. From walking in the door to leaving it was amazing all around. The vet, Dr. Schlesinger, was so gentle, kind, and knowledgeable. She time with him to figure out what was going on and came up with a great course of action. Most times it's only about 10 minutes with the vet and you're rushed out the door. I felt like she cared just as much about my pup as I did. Very thorough, caring, clean, and helpful. Great job and keep it up!! Read Less

I have been taking my two Maltese here to Dr. Story for past 8 years or so. I have always loved their service and everybody is amazing with my dogs. Dr. Story is really gentle, knowledgable with my pets. Yes they are bit pricey but I can always count on them. Also my pets get a card each with all their and vaccination info on it. Love it! Been using Weston Vets for over 22 years for 3 cats. The care is competent and fairly priced.  One of our cats (long gone) was very difficult to deal with yet they (especially Dr Storey) was able to work with her just by putting her in a room where she could look out the window.  Highly recommended and easy to get to being on route 20 close to 128/95. after a very bad experience at another vet I went her I can not say enough wonderful things about this place. They been so sweet to me and my cats. When my cats died one from cancer one from FIP they called me to give condone and sent a doation to a charity in there nameThey been nothing but kind sweet and  always aaured me my cat was not the worst and it was okay for him to misbehave at the vet . IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY HERE..... Long time client started to question the practice when I saw their prices so much higher then others. The icing on the cake was this weekend when we bumped into our vet that diagnosed our dog with cancer 2 months ago, he said a quick hello and didn't care enough to ask how my dog was doing during treatment.... it confirmed my thoughts these doctors really don't care.  It's all about the $$$$ for them.  Heartless and let down tremendously. I have been taking my pets to Weston Vet for over 5 years.  They are wonderful and have taken such great care of my pets.  The ladies at the desk are super nice and efficient, the facilities are clean and modern, and the vets are great.  I normally see Dr. Storey, but because of various unexpected pet illnesses and maladies, I have seen several of the other vets, too.  The office is very accommodating and I have always been able to schedule last minute appointments to get my cats or dog in because they weren't feeling well.Though I could go to a closer vet practice, I love Weston Vet so much that I travel the extra distance for their amazing care. My two rescue dogs come here and I couldn't be happier.  When I moved from the Metrowest area, I was terrified that I wouldn't be able to find a veterinary office that I liked as much as my former.  Weston Vet exceeded my expectations.The staff is always warm and friendly.  The premises are bright and clean.  I brought my two dogs in because they just didn't "look" right to me.  I think most other offices would've thought that I was gonzo, but the vets here totally listened to me and ran a comprehensive blood panel.  One of my dogs had lyme disease and the other had anaplasmosis, which is no surprise given how often they run in the woods.When it was time to give them a prescription, I told them that my dog did not respond well to Doxycycline.  We worked *together* to find a drug regimen that would be effective but make me comfortable.  I appreciated that they allowed me to be an advocate for my pet, didn't talk down to me because I'm not a veterinarian, but heard my concerns and tried to accommodate reasonable requests. One of my dogs loves coming here because of how much attention everyone gives her.  She thinks we're going to a party that was put together just for her. Read Less

I've been bringing my very spoiled pit bull, Dayja to the Weston Veterinary Clinic for almost 2 years.What can you say about a place that has a multicolored full sized plaster cow on their lawn?  LOTS!  Service:  from the minute you walk through the door, you are greeted with a warm smile by the front office crew.  You and your dog are acknowledged immediately!  These ladies know their stuff - they get you in and out with regards to billing, scheduling, answering questions; they do it all.Vet Techs:  All wonderful.  They handle my dog with gentleness and care.   They are warm and engaging and clearly love their work!Resident Dog: There's usually a resident dog that hangs out. He's mellow and mostly sleeps.  I think they have him filing from time to time.  Low labor cost! Works for treats. Environment: Always clean. Bright. Smells fresh. That's a big deal to me, nothing worse than a tired looking office that smells like wet dog!  You won't find that here.Technology friendly.  They have an on line system that once you register, you can access your dog's records, billing information etc. Communication: You get relevant newsletter updates/appointment reminders  via email.  When Dayja was being treated for a skin condition, Dr. Storey called me personally to follow up.  He's done this several times!  Veterinarians:  My dog Dayja is in love with Dr. Neil Storey.  Who wouldn't be?  He clearly derives a great deal of satisfaction in his career.  I've brought  my dog into the clinic on several occasions within the last year.  Dr. Storey is personable, friendly and an outstanding professional.  He's never talked me into treatment my dog didn't need.   Doesn't try to sell me products I don't' need nor pet insurance, although it's probably a good idea and he truly takes time with my dog.   He answers all my questions about one of the most important things in my life - my dog!  Weston Veterinary Clinic is for any dog/animal owner who considers their animals part of the family.   Plain and Simple.As far as cost - I'm sure there are clinics that charge less and clinics that charge more.  In my opinion, their prices are competitive and fair. This is the only vet I've used, but I can't imaging another place being any better. Like all the other reviews, customer service here is stellar. We love love love Dr Story! He is not only a great doctor, but he has great bedside manner. From basic annual exams to serious medical issues, they are great at what they do! One of our kittys was very sick and we were there weekly for a long period of time...they were always kind and caring...their love for animals really shows. This is the best veterinary clinic I have been to.  I even travel from Cambridge to take my cat there.  From the moment I walk in the door I feel incredibly welcomed and like my cat is in great hands.  The vets and vet techs clearly love animals and care so much.  I had a cat a few years ago who had health problems and they were just so compassionate, even though there is a vet around the corner, I will always continue to go to Weston vet. I really could not speak higher of this vet/clinic.My wife and I brought in our dog as we thought he had an ear infection.  The doctor treated him quickly explaining each step.  He noticed that the dog had a routine visit coming up for distemper shots and took care of that as well, and when the dog scooted on the floor expressed his anal glands.Regardless of the poking and prodding the dog still loves gonig here and the people treat the pets like patients.I ahve been to other vets, and they all seem shady, there are ones that need an xray for ANY visit, others that overcharge for any med that you can buy at petco (x4 Really), and others that tack on an urgent/emergency visit cgarge of $100+ if it isn't the year;y routine.  This isn't one of those places.  Try them, you'll like them.
