I've been bringing my German Shepherd Chip to this clinic since they purchased the practice from the previous Veterinarian who ran it for many years. He didn't have the best bedside manner but cared about his patients. A few days ago my best buddy Chip sustained an injury to his left eye while playing fetch. A rubber toy bounced up after hitting the ground and got him square in the eye. It swelled shut and he was in considerable pain. Obviously the first thing I did was call the Vets office where he had been seen for the past two years to get an emergency appointment. We literally live 10 minutes away. Can you imagine how I felt when I was told to bring him somewhere else because they wanted to close early! I obviously have fired this highly unethical Veterinary Clinic and encourage anyone who truly loves their pet to go elsewhere as well. You simply cannot depend on Wilbraham Animal Hospital. Read Less

Our rescued Pit Mix was terrified of pet stores, vet visits, groomers but needed a checkup and a Rabies vaccine update so we had not choice but to put him through the trauma. I called Wilbraham Animal Hospital and was immediately impressed by how caring and supportive the staff was. Stephanie took 20-30 minutes to talk about Will with me, put me at ease and assured me that Will would be in good hands. The visit only solidified my comfort. These folks are the best.....absolute pros....I highly recommend Wilbraham Animal Hospital. Read Less

My mother and I had similar experiences with this place. We had two cats we brought here. The male vet was generally terse and borderline rude when treating the cats, so much so that my mom switched her dog to another vet. A few days ago, my mom brought her 17 year old, generally healthy cat to the vet. They said her blood word was good except for her liver levels. They prescribed medication for this and within two days of my mom administering the dosage, the cat abruptly died. One could say the cat was old but other then occasionally throwing up her food, she was acting fine and healthy. I'm sure there are caring technicians and aides that work here, but I wouldn't risk bringing my pet here again. Read Less

We no longer use this vet, because of the dismissive attitude, and rudeness. I brought in my dog for her shots, and when he asked if we had any concerns I explained she was having mobility and bathroom issues. He gave me attitude, then basically ignored the rest of what I said. We took her to Westover after this and the vets we're attentive and thorough. They diagnosed her with spinal damage and liver failure. They helped us make her feel comfortable for the little time she had left. She's gone now but I am still left with disgust for the lack of care we received. They may be cheaper but you do get what you pay for.  I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Read Less

My family have taken all of our many animals here for 15+ years now. Good, fair prices for what you get. Don't expect a full work up on your animal (unless specifically asked for or a true necessity), but don't expect to pay what many vets charge either. Plus they can get you in quickly and without an "emergency visit "fee. They have always treated my pet- and their owners-with respect. I love that they are a small, country office.Sadly the last time we were there was on Dec 8. 2014 to put our 15 year old cat down.
