Dr. Herr has been wonderful the 11 years I have been taking Kiley to him. If I have something going on with her he always finds a way to get it taken care of. He was great when she had surgery to remove a tumor on her and they even watched her overnight because she wanted to mess with it after the surgery and they wanted to make sure she did not and her pain level was ok. Also my parents had a dog that had a bump on her face one vet removed it and it never healed kept giving her antibiotics. My Dad took her to two other vets and they did the same thing. Then my dad passed away and my mom got the dog and she took her to another vet and they did the same thing. I told her to take her to Dr. Herr she did and he immediately looked in her mouth and saw a bad tooth said it had to be removed and then the antibiotics would work. We became loyal Adrian Animal Clinic clients because of an incident that occurred with our 4 month old puppy. She was kicked in the head by a horse just before 5 pm. We called our vet at the time, who told us that they were closing and we should take her to an emergency clinic in Ann Arbor or Toledo. We spent the next several hours trying to find a vet who would see our puppy. All of them told us what our own vet had. During my search I came across Adrian Animal Clinic online and saw they offered 24 hr emergency services for clients. I spoke with them the next morning and they got us right in! I love Adrian Animal Clinic and trust Dr. Herr with all our pets needs. The office is very compassionate and helpful. From the day having to put my cat to sleep to a night we had an emergency with our Chihuahua when he was a puppy the staff and Dr Herr were awesome and understanding. He even had to wrestle our bear of a dog to trim her nails...yes she's 106 pound puppy and didn't understand what was going on. I can truly say we have been totally satisfied with the care and attention they have provided for the pet-part of our family. Very disappointed with how insensitive and inappropriate Dr Herr was during our last appointment. When our scared, recently rescued dog went to have his nails trimmed, Dr Herr was very impatient with my wife and dog and even made some discriminating breed comments which are unacceptable and shocking. My wife was in tears after her visit. It is unfortunate because we really didn't have issues there in the past. We will be looking elsewhere for our veterinary care now. Read Less

Fifteen years ago I moved out of state. I always missed the care and treatment my animals and I got from the Adrian Animal Clinic, Dr. Herr and his staff. I have since moved back to the area and recently had a very sick dog. As busy as his practice is Dr. Herr was able to get my Sammy into the office within 24 hours for treatment. Two days later Sam was feeling better and acting like himself again. This was on a Thursday. The following Monday I received a call from one of the staff checking in on Sammy's progress. No vet has ever done this before. So glad he is our pet-family doctor again. Genuinely caring and incredibly knowledgeable. Our dog was sick and we needed a vet to take her too. We heard about Dr. Herr from a friend and decided to take her to his clinic. The staff was able to fit us in and the wait was only about 5 minutes. Dr. Herr examined our dog and quickly determined that she had allergies.
