I've been calling them for days during their business hours to schedule appointments for my cats, who have been going here for over 2 years, and have gotten their answering machine every single time. There isn't even an option to leave them a message to let them know that I'm only receiving their answering machine during their business hours, which are listed in the answering machine. This is very unprofessional and makes me feel like they don't really care (no option to leave a voice message, really?). Update - 7/24/17 Just got a call back from the VCA to follow-up on my review. They weren't sure where the issue with their phones/voicemail came in because I checked that I had been calling their correct line during their listed hours, but they do have a few lines with different numbers and maybe something got crossed. The nice office manager let me know that they have online self-booking available, which I hadn't known about and would make the process of scheduling vet appointments much easier. They walked me through what to do when my dog was having her first seizure. They helped us on our journey with her. Eventually she crossed the rainbow road but I will never forget that first phone call. They weren't even our vet then but ours was closed and they were open. Read Less

Waited for ever at least an hour over my appointment time I brought my dog in for diarrhea and throwing up and the nurse just decides without asking my permission to give my dog cheese whizz.....like uhhhh lady are you ignorant? Seems like they only care about your money and not so much about your animal....everything is way over priced the nurses are walking billboards who try to sell you everything....I will never return here Read Less

Very easy to get an immediate appointment. Clean. The care is just okay. Very expensive, as I assume most veterinary hospitals are. I don't like that fact that everytime that I take my dog there, she is seen by a different doctor. I would prefer for her to be seen by the same doctor who has seen her before, and knows her...sort of like a PCP, but this is not a 'mom and pop' type of business, as they have many, many locations. I am actually thinking about looking for a new place to take my dog to, somewhere where that is not a large corporation. Read Less

Awesome people all around. From the receptionists to the vet techs to the doctors, we were treated with respect, our questions answered and a treatment plan was mapped out for my fur baby. We were seen by Dr. Leeper, who explained things in a way my 80 year old Mom could understand, and test results were delivered by Dr. Berry along with suggestions for a course of action. Read Less

I took my dog to the VCA Allen Park Clinic and they were wonderful. My dog was treated great. We didn't have long to wait and I was given all the information I needed to keep my dog healthy and fit. The prices are cheaper than most vets. I would like to tell everyone this is the best place to take your pet because they care and the price is right. Read Less
