Allendale Animal Hospital is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care.
We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, and a closely supervised hospitalization area.

This is the second time I've had to take my dog in for an urgent visit and they are so great about seeing him in a timely manner, even when they are busy! They all obviously care every deeply about all the furry family members that come in. This is also our regular vet, so I recommend them for all your pets' medical needs.

This place has taken care of my 3 babies better than I could have ever imagined. One of my kitties has allergies and they have helped him as much as possible. Another one of my babies had many many health issues. They were with me through all 4 years going above and beyond. I never felt judged for my decisions with him and they always did what they could for him. I now live an hour away and still have not decided to go anywhere else. (I will have to find somewhere else, but I am in denial.) - Special thanks to Dr. Fraser and Sam from both Amanda and Enzo Ferrari; Thank you for the years of life you gave him.

By far an office full of staff and Vets that are full of compassion, not only for the animals but also the fur-parents! We have had 4 pets while using their services over many years. We had to send two of our fur babies over the rainbow bridge in those years and not only did they help us wipe our tears but also shed their own with us! When we take our furbabies there or call regarding them you feel as if you are talking to a family member who wants to help you in any way they can! Love them!

The team at Allendale Animal Hospital is amazing, caring, respectful and very informative. They have been very supportive in providing the best care for all my pets. The office is very clean, open and spacious. Wait times have always been short, schedualing is easy even when it's short notice. AAH is by far the best vet I have been to in the greater Grand Rapids area.

We had to put our precious pup down due to cancer and they were the sweetest. Staying open late, waiting for our kiddos to show up and say goodbye, giving us space and time, and even crying with us. AAH was available, knowledgeable, prompt, and courteous when I needed them a couple weeks ago for my new cat who had an unexplained abscess. I called them immediately after finding the abscess (because I remembered they told me to call them if I ever needed anything) and they told me I could come and see a vet within the next hour. I ended up going in earlier than my appt and was seen very quickly. Dr. Gerber explained the abcess to me and quickly gave me an estimate and treated my kitty. His check up appointment is tomorrow and Im just so happy AAH was there to give affordable and quality service to such an important part of my life. Thank you so much!

The staff at Allendale Animal Hospital is amazing! They are kind and professional. It is easy to schedule appointments, and they offer an amazing puppy training class. They are very loving to all animals I have seen in their facility. This is by far the best service I have ever had for a family pet. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

My roommate and I both got kittens recently and decided to come to the Allendale Animal Hospital for their vet care. We are both first time pet owners and are still getting the hang of things but I can whole heartily say we both felt completely confident in this office, their staff and the care they provided for our animals . Upon our first visit we knew we wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff is incredible! They answered the multitude of questions we had, gave us VERY reasonable quotes, kept us informed every step of the way and provided quality vet services. They even called me to give me updates during our kittens declaw and spay/neuter operations. It's evident though my experiences here how much the staff cares for you and your animals. Incredible and honestly deserves 10+ stars!!

We have been taking our animals here for about four years and they always exceed our expectations. It seems as though we are always having some kind of crisis and they are always happy to answer questions over the phone or schedule us in right away. The doctors are happy to answer any questions that you have and they always try to make pet care affordable. We moved to Grand Rapids and still make the drive into Allendale!

This is the second time I've had to take my dog in for an urgent visit and they are so great about seeing him in a timely manner, even when they are busy! We have been taking our animals here for about four years and they always exceed our expectations. It seems as though we are always having some kind of crisis and they are always happy to answer questions over the phone or schedule us in right away.
