I am always so happy with how much the entire team - from the fantastic office manager, Jan, to all the techs, to Dr. Zechar and Dr. Alexander - takes such care with my beloved pets, providing top-notch care while also not over-diagnosing or over-charging. My cat recently got very sick, and they carefully chose tests to accurately determine what was going on, and talked over what they recommended and what they did not recommend, and went over various options that they could provide or how they could teach me to administer certain treatments at home to save money while still providing care, if I was comfortable doing that. I always know my cats (and my bank account) are in good care with I go to All Creatures, and I'm glad they take all of these concerns into consideration without prompting. I love this clinic. Dr A. helped me make some hard decisions with my old man kitty and the clinic was beyond compassionate when I had to let him go. They celebrated with me when we got our new kitten and calm me when he experiences health problems. They are always professional and friendly. We started going to All Creatures last December when we adopted our dog Abby, and have had nothing but the best care for Abby. Our bird woke up sick and they got us in immediately, even though they closed in 30 minutes. Dr. Alexander was so caring, knowledgeable, and matter-of-fact and she did everything in front of us - the sedative, physical exam, wing/nail trim, and antibiotic shot. Every other vet we've gone to, they've taken our bird to the back to do everything and we just sit there without knowing what's going on. She explained everything she was doing while we were able to watch her do it. Additionally, she really wanted the visit to be as least traumatic for him as possible. The staff was excellent with my hedgehog Quillbur. Surgery to remove a mass is pricey, just like any medical procedure, but they provided lots of information. Very grateful for such professionals, however I am disappointed in how expensive they seem to be with no payment plans.Read Less

Let me start by saying I like the vet. I think she is knowledgeable and I trust my dogs in her care. The prices there are staggering, however. It cost almost $500 to get my dog fixed. The office wouldn't do it unless we did blood work ($100) even though she had a clean blood test 4 months earlier. Also, they are always trying to sell you something. They tried to sell me the same collar, twice, and for two completely different reasons. The customer service at the front desk is rough, as well. They are generally out of sentinel. Almost every time I visit the office, I have to come back a different day to pick up the medicine. Read Less

Dr. Alexander and her staff did an amazing job at taking care of my bearded dragon, Baby Puff. She had an abscess under her eye and was able to get surgery the same day I brought her in. She is healing very well and fast. I couldn't be happier with the care my pet received here. Read Less

When my family dog Rosebud got sick, we took her to All Creatures Animal Clinic.  The doctors were very compassionate and caring and the staff were all very nice.Unfortunately our dog was getting up in years when we brought her in and she probably didn't have much more time, but the doctors were able to keep her comfortableAnd buy her a few more years with the family.  Dr Alexander was also very knowledgeable with the treatment and really seemed to care about our case.  I would recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a good vet. ACAC is hands down the best vet that I have ever been to. Dr. Zechar is the only vet that I have ever met who was able to diagnose my corgi with Addison's disease. Without her knowledge and expertise, I wouldn't have found an answer to why he was constantly getting sick as no other vet that I visited even suggested this as a diagnosis. The fact that she wouldn't rest until she could give me an answer speaks volumes in my book.If you're able to find a vet that cares about animals as much as these guys do, you know you've found a keeper. Now that I'm in Grand Rapids, I'll still be making trips to visit the team in Ann Arbor for any issues that may arise in the future as Dr. Zechar is the best. Read Less

The worst veterinary clinic ever. The staff is obviously not well trained and unprofessional. I could hear them gossiping and laughing loudly through the door as I waited and waited. The actually veterinarian exam took 3 minutes at the longest. The "technician" couldn't even get blood after poking numerous times. She was getting so frustrated and my dog could sense it. My poor dog couldn't wait to get out of there. I'm new to the area and thought I'd give them a try, but I totally regret it. Read Less

I moved here 2 years ago and was so glad to find this clinic here. I love these folks. Everyone at the clinic is great to me and my animals. My old dog is being treated so gently. Her laser treatments make her life so much less painful. And the groomings she gets are the best she has ever got. I also have two annoying animals, another dog and a cat. We have been coming to this vet for I want to say 8ish years. While I've always been satisfied w my animals level of care I must say since dr A and dr Z took over things last year I've been very impressed! We had a very sick kitty that required a LOT of extra visits and care, and they really and truly worked with us to make it financially feasible. They also treated our sick kitty with the utmost compassion and love and when it came time to let her go, they gave us the same compassion, love, and support! Not just the doctors, but all of the support staff as well!! I'm not sure our crazy dog would tolerate anyone else trimming his toes besides Jess and Shanna! :) we have 3 cats and 2 dogs and we bring them all to all creatures!! I brought my cat in for an emergency and the staff was really compassionate. The doctor was amazing, she listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions. My cat ended up having emergency surgery (which they can do right there) and she is now 100% better. There is a great atmosphere there, I recommend All Creatures to everyone. Read Less
