Ann Arbor Mobile Vet

Ann Arbor, Michigan
General Info
Ann Arbor Mobile Vet practices mirrored interaction standing when the pet rises staying still when they settle to serve both the nan community and broader nan populace. The practice of care emerges through energetic respect. Every visit initiates with calibration where the pet's entry speed combines with their orientation actions while their gaze patterns whether resting or flickering become observed. The unfolding of care emerges through the reflection of mirrored behaviors. The feline spirals cause personnel to retreat. A dog that begins to lean steps forward softly. Touch experiences a deliberate postponement awaiting stable readiness signals. The frequent use of silence in planned interactions creates stark contrasts where stillness follows sound light emerges from dimness and spaces appear after close proximity. Ann Arbor Mobile Vet delivers services in dermatology treatment and nutrition refinement alongside joint care management, disease screening protocols, and pain mitigation techniques. They implement decision trees instead of sequential methods: When alertness levels increase, diagnostic processes halt. The state of calm intensifies yet their actions persist. This logic enables animals with historical anxiety patterns to complete exams without entering a downward spiral. Discharge protocols are engineered to replicate signals for closing relational gaps and reducing interactions while employing rhythmic activities such as meals or walks to reestablish balance. Families gain guidance on emotional pacing techniques alongside medical aftercare. The transition home transforms into a genuine return instead of a clinical echo through these delicate adjustments. Ann Arbor Mobile Vet delivers its veterinary care to households throughout nan by adopting a medical approach that prioritizes listening before speaking, mirroring before handling and responding before prescribing.

There are no words to describe the heartbreak of losing our 15-year-old golden, but the silver lining of that experience was Dr. Annie Staebler. I can't think of a better person to have by your side at a time like that than . She had the perfect bedside manner for what ended up being one of the saddest days of our lives. She described everything that was going to happen and why, and arranged everything. She even sent us a lovely condolence card afterward. She kept us calm and focused and said all the right things. She stayed with us for an hour, and we needed it! Thank you again Dr. Annie. Read Less

Dr. Annie is wonderful!  I wish I had known about her earlier.  She and her tech Kristy came to our home to do a quality of life assessment for our almost 14 year old Wheaten terrier.  She sat on the floor and was so loving and patient.  She gave us great tips about providing the best care for our beloved Emma in her final days.  Not only did she do a thorough assessment, but she was able to dispense some medications right from her vehicle.  She and her tech were at our home for about an hour - amazing!!   The cost is comparable, but the care is priceless.  Seeing the home environment gives her so much information and she can personalize her advice.Honestly, I can not say enough about the fantastic care that was provided!!  I don't know if I will ever go back to a traditional vet.  I plan on having Dr. Annie as our primary provider for our next dog.  She and Kristy are the best!! I came to know Ann Arbor Mobile vet because my dear pit bull got cancer and for my sanity and hers I wanted to have the last appointment at home. I had a lot of questions and was more or less dealing with her illness and end of life alone. I saw Dr. Staebler twice and both times I felt really well taken care of. The first time I thought it was "the day" and Dr. Staebler came up with additional treatment options that gave us another month or so together. She was very thorough and to the point and her assistant Cristy is sweet as can be and a really great compliment. When the day came I did not feel rushed at all, everything was explained and both the Dr. and assistant were very conscious of how wrecked I would/could be and arranged the paperwork, payment and other necessities in a way that allowed me to not worry about it. Cristy even gave me a good hug and was clearly sad too which somehow made me feel a little less alone.Generally speaking, the quality of vets in Ann Arbor and the surrounding areas vary dramatically so always shop around if something doesn't sound right or based on your own research you feel something is being missed. Through Pinto's illness I saw 4 vets and got very different treatment options from all and the additional care option Dr. Annie gave me was never mentioned with the others. Pinto had a good quality of life while following Dr. Annie's treatment roadmap so that too was good.Whether you're looking for someone to offer in home care for the convenience or end of life I would recommend Ann Arbor Mobile Vet as a compliment to a full-service vet elsewhere. Her prices are reasonable and the quality of care is as good as can be. Read Less

Dr. Anne Stabler is amazing!  Mobile vets are incredible.  Gone are the days of stressful car rides and terrified puppy at the vet.  She brings with a tech and everything she might need to take care of your dog.  She is incredibly knowledgeable, and doesn't push anything.  Our dog needed a joint supplement, and Anne sat next to me and showed me exactly which one to buy off Amazon.  What a great experience!  She's our regular vet now, for sure. As a person who's worked and volunteered in the positive reinforcement 'dog world' and dog rescue for nearly 15 years, I have seen the best and the worst of anyone who interacts with canines.  Dr. Staebler & her tech (was too addled to remember names!) were beyond amazing.  They were both exceptionally kind and on-point.  This is particularly true in the details:  - from explaining every step of the process, - interacting *beautifully* with my 2nd super shy dog, - using treats to reward behavior, - using natural moments vs. forced moments in their visit to maintain comfort and no restraint,- asking histories of both of my dogs- a wonderful 'bedside manner.'- following up to see how I'm doing and offering to connect with my previous vet.Dr. Staebler came highly recommended and I couldn't be more pleased.  They talked me through a tender, emergent, end-of-life moment with a beloved friend...and helped make his transition as beautiful as it was devastating (to me). I had my first experience with Dr. Staebler this afternoon, for an extremely delicate situation involving my beloved 17 year old kitty whose health had been on the decline as of late.  We didn't want to put him under unnecessary stress by driving him to our normal vet, so I gave her a call after a quick internet search to try and find a traveling vet in the area.  Dr. Staebler was extremely sweet, caring, and compassionate throughout the entire examination, and the subsequent difficult decision we knew we had to make.  I felt that she had both ours and our kitty's best interests at heart, and didn't try to push unnecessary and costly tests like so many vets seem to do, even if you express a desire to take a more conservative approach.  I really can't recommend her enough, both for pets who become agitated by car rides, as well as for difficult situations where you need a professional and compassionate opinion about which avenue to take.  I have no doubt that we'll use her again in the future, and I'm planning to give her info to all of my friends and family who are looking for a great vet. Dr. Annie saw my cat last night for a small medical problem. She was extremely patient and sweet with her--it's clear she has a strong affection for animals. Nothing was rushed; she gave me full explanations as she went along, and was clearly interested in my girl's health holistically, not just in the issue at hand. I don't drive, so having a mobile vet in town is a huge plus, but even if I had to pay for taxis (which would cost me about the same as Dr. Annie's low housecall fee) she's still the type of vet I'd hope to work with.
