ALL well trained and experienced the rest of the staff is also experienced and very friendly they have been my vet for the last two and a half years my son's dog for the last 15 years and they are very happy with them they had to have a surgery and the vet was great and did a great job dog is fine I would gladly recommend them to anyone also a groomer is connected to the vet

We got our 1.5 yr old Springer Spaniel spayed at the beginning of the year at Westarbor due to a recommendation. She recovered very nicely in a few weeks. I was petting her today noticed how nice her incision looks! A few months later, you can't even tell that she had surgery (see picture). I'm very impressed and am likely to take my dogs here from now on.

Stay away from these veterinarians at any and all costs!!! Dr. Katie Anderson, Dr. Rachel Whitesell, and the practice owner Dr. James Clarkson are incompetent at best. Our dog was misdiagosed from day 1, causing a month of unnecessary vomiting, weight loss and often very painful procedures and intensive care stays at a university .....for round worms! A simple fecal on day one (which was not offered) would have solved the problem and saved our dog. Dr. Clarkson refused to meet with us when we were needing an explanation and a simple apology. We asked for no money. Westarbor refused to give us our records, stating the records were "mailed" to us months ago. Dr. Anderson and Stephanie, the office manager, would rather force their untrained reception staff to handle major client issues, as opposed to coming out of the back office to speak with myself and my husband. Do not trust any of them! Stephanie, the practice manager is extremely rude and displays the arrogance the entire practice seems to have. Our family ended up paying over 5000.00 for a 30.00 cure. Please avoid this place and your pets may have a chance.... go anywhere else!!!

They go above and beyond with the care they give their patients. My dogs can't wait to go in and see them every time we have an appointment! The staff is extremely helpful and will do whatever they can to help with any situation. I recommend them to anyone getting a new animal, big or small!

I work a couple of doors down from the Hospital. I had a baby rabbit that I was trying to keep alive that Moma wasn't doing her job with. Finally it got so bad I walked into the Hospital to see if they could do anything. Well, everyone was so nice and the Doctor took the baby bunny and tried. Had the little fellow in the back for like 30 minutes but there was nothing they could do for him as he was too far gone. they didn't charge me a dime and gave me references as to what to try and feed it. they even wanted me to follow up and let them know how he was doing. Well, he didn't make it. Great place, people and Doctor. Thank you guys.

I can't even begin to express my gratitude to the staff at Westarbor. My cat had been really sick for two days and my vet told me they couldn't help me because they were closing in 30 minutes (even though they had seen her the day before and knew she was really ill). I called Westarbor, and they squeezed us in immediately. They were so professional, compassionate, and thorough--they clearly love their job and every animal that comes in. I had such a positive experience that I asked them to request my dogs files from the other vet so that we could make Westarbor our new home--and we couldn't be happier!! Thank you so much, Westarbor!

From the moment I got my dogs (8yrs ago) I knew I needed to find a vet clinic that was a true clinic devoted to the animals and their families. I 100% found that with Westarbor Animal Hospital. They go above and beyond with the care they give their patients. My dogs can't wait to go in and see them every time we have an appointment! The staff is extremely helpful and will do whatever they can to help with any situation. I recommend them to anyone getting a new animal, big or small!

Once my vet I had used passed unexpectedly, I searched for 5 years to find the next perfect Vet. I was referred to West Arbor, to Dr. Katie Anderson. We have been associated with them for six/seven years SHE IS AWESOME. I love her compassion for both the fur babies and their mom and dad. Well worth our 30 minute drive. Her referral base is just as awesome. Hugs to Dr. Katie and the office staff

They were patient and so kind. We felt their love. While they probably have to do this a lot...they made us feel very special. I work a couple of doors down from the Hospital. I had a baby rabbit that I was trying to keep alive that Moma wasn't doing her job with. Finally it got so bad I walked into the Hospital to see if they could do anything. Well, everyone was so nice and the Doctor took the baby bunny and tried. Had the little fellow in the back for like 30 minutes but there was nothing they could do for him as he was too far gone. they didn't charge me a dime and gave me references as to what to try and feed it. they even wanted me to follow up and let them know how he was doing. Well, he didn't make it. Great place, people and Doctor. Thank you guys.

Has the friendliest staff and a great positive vibe. I got a gift basket for my pup with a toy, bag of treats, and a lunch bag. They treated my pup like family.

Long story short, my dog Sasha Marie was in so much pain, and they were more than happy to take her the same day as a new patient, after hours for a minimal fee. The staff was attentive, loving, and went above and beyond any veterinary service I've experienced in my 28 years of taking my many fur babies to vet. Thank you from the bottom of my heart <3

I can't even begin to express my gratitude to the staff at Westarbor. My cat had been really sick for two days and my vet told me they couldn't help me because they were closing in 30 minutes (even though they had seen her the day before and knew she was really ill). I called Westarbor, and they squeezed us in immediately. They were so professional, compassionate, and thorough--they clearly love their job and every animal that comes in. I had such a positive experience that I asked them to request my dogs files from the other vet so that we could make Westarbor our new home--and we couldn't be happier!! Thank you so much, Westarbor!

This is the only vet for our dog. She is much healthier for having come to Westarbor all these years. It's a long drive from our home, but it is certainly worth it.
