I Always try to make my visits to businesses enjoyable for both myself and the staff. I haven't been to this Vet Clinic for several years... thankfully my dogs have been healthy! Regardless, I called and got an appointment for the next day! My dog had an ear infection, so off we go to visit Dr. Buck and her staff. There is always forms to fill out, especially when the dog hasn't been treated by the clinic before. Now my nature is to resist the (my perception) "silliness" of the standard paper forms. So, I started my visit giving editorial comments while filling out the form. Mind you, I was the only customer in the lobby at the time... To shortcut this story, the check in staff, along with the other lobby staff and the Vet Tech, all the way to Dr. Buck all remember me as the fun old guy that visited! I always try to be That guy, rather than be the guy that the staff remembers as being the biggest A##hole to visit this month! While being the fun guy doesn't change the treatment my dog got, the treatment here is ALWAYS TOP SHELF, the folks at the Frankenmuth, Birch Run Vet Clinic will look forward to my return rather than dreading our return! My best comment for this clinic... They obviously enjoy their jobs!!! A group of employees that works only for the paycheck never giggle with customers. These guys enjoy their jobs! Dr. Buck and staff were phenomenal! They handled our conure Tooters with care and made it the best experience possible for him. They really care and provide amazing education. Our recent visits to Dr. Kimberlee Buck with our "Skittles" , (military macaw) have been very reassuring. Staff is friendly & Dr. Buck is gentle, kind, and most importantly- knowledgeable about birds! We were referred to her by Valley Animal Clinic in Auburn- (Also excellent vet) Skittles encountered a battle with a dangling toy that wrapped his foot and has caused some nasty damage to his foot/claws. We are looking towards a good recovery as Dr. Buck assured us he may only lose tip of his middle claw! We recommend this Vet highly. Read Less

Have had two appointments for my four month old puppy, including spaying. Employers as well as Dr Buck appear to be friendly, pleasant and very caring to my dog. Prices are a little high but quality of care appear high also. Clinic appears clean, bright & odor free. Would have given 5 stars in prices were a little lower,although I have not had a pet requiring vet care in over 20 years, so probably out of touch. Read Less

I live about 2 hours north of frankenmuth, and was absolutely panicked when my ferret started drooling and acting lethargic. No vet near me would see him being an "exotic". I was so so so grateful that I was able to get in the day I called, and get answers, and it was very affordable! I couldn't say enough good things about frankenmuth-birch run vet!! my bird had a broken blood feather and they took amazing care of him and let me stay as long as i wanted to make him comfortable and answer all my questions. great vet! i give it a 5 star rating because i am rating the actual vet, if it was overall i would give maybe a 3 or 4 because of how rude they were over the phone and how much extra, unnecessary stress was added. when i called very upset they were not understanding and just told me to schedule an appointment and when i did they told me they were booked for the next 2 days but somehow them having my last name made them have an oppening. would reccomend being nicer if they want more business, and not judging. i felt very uncomfortable and i should not be treated any different just because i am young. but the actual vet made everything worthwhile. will be coming back and im very pleased with all of the services and accomidations made for my bird and i Read Less

Wonderful, caring and knowledgeable! I highly recommend this veterinarian. After going to a Bridgeport vet for years, I finally switched at the beginning of the year. If I hadn't, my poor cat (Gizmo) most likely would've been put down. Doctor Buck did some research and found the best combination of meds and treatments for my elderly cat. Wow, the staff is extremely sweet! The welcome that my friend's guinea pig Egon received was super cute. Plus, I can honestly say I was super impressed by Dr. Buck's knowledge and friendliness! Very experienced avian vet. Took my 20 year old African grey congo,due to various things though out the years. I give them a A+. The staff was very welcoming. I called just recently about my guy having seizures,they said can you come now. Yes,I was there in 20 minutes.I was seen right away. The clinic cats there are beautiful and welcoming as well. I am absolutely intrigued with this staff and Dr. Buck. Amazing is short of how wonderful an experience this was even under an emergency situation. They are smart, they are kind and they are patient with the animal care and explaining exactly what is happening. I think most vets and their staff do a great job, but I sure felt this staff really does love their career and caring for our fur kid. We took our elderly dog in for diagnosed heart problems that didn't quite add up and we were looking for a second opinion. As it happened, he had an emergency on the follow up visit and I feel his care and treatment there were excellent. I was impressed by the thorough exam my pet received and the diagnosis that showed an underlying problem previously missed. We went through multiple vets before finally finding Dr.Buck. Dr. Buck has been extremely invaluable to the care of our dog who has epilepsy. Two weeks ago, our dog was having multiple severe seizures. It was very early Sunday morning. She opened her office just for us. She is a very good vet, she has taught us alot, and it is a great comfort to have her as our vet and to know that even after hours I will still very likely be able to get ahold of her.
