I am so thankful to have found this place. Dr. Baird and his staff have created a warm and welcoming environment and are great with my cats. He explains things patiently and thoroughly and answers all of my questions. We travel from Windsor Ontario Canada to bring our greyhound to Dr. Baird. We appreciate his patient, unhurried manner and that none of my repeated questions are too stupid! We also appreciate that Dr. Baird is accessible, charges reasonably, and doesn't sell us a lot of extras we don't need. We know that his common sense approach to treating our TJ has saved us lots of money, so the time (45 minutes), mileage, and tunnel fare are all worth it to see Dr. Baird. Dr. Baird and his office is fantastic.I drive almost 20 miles to get to his office.  Dr. Baird never rushes and makes sure he's answered all your questions. He takes a clear pragmatic approach and does not use extra services ( x-rays etc) unless they will really provide value to the patient. Under his care one of my Greyhounds reached her 15th birthday before passing. Dr. Baird was very helpful through the end of life steps for her.  His comment was so true "you will know when it is the time"  His teeth cleaning approach is better than other vets - he does not remove teeth unless they really have an issue. My former vet was too aggressive in regards to tooth removal. So my previous dog lost many of her teeth. I would recommend this office and services to anyone. Read Less

Dr. Baird and his staff are fantastic.  We have been going to Bloomfield Animal Hospital for decades through several different cats.  He and the staff have helped us through the end of life of our two oldest cats with grace and compassion. Later, they helped us with everything we would need when we welcomed our new kitties.  When we inherited my grandfather's cat only to find she had some significant, life threatening health issues, they got her tested and sent us to a specialist who helped her come back to enjoy the rest of her nine lives.  I would recommend their office and services to anyone. I've taken my kitten here twice now. I really like Dr. Baird and his staff. The location is convenient, the clinic feels very inviting, and Dr. Baird never rushes you and makes sure he's answered all your questions. I was on vacation from California and needed to see a veterinarian to have a dental cleaning done on my Maltese puppy.  Dr. Beard was very gentle and the results were great.  I went to two other veterinarians and they told me that my dog had a broken tooth and needed an EKG and blood work before doing the procedure, and that the dog may have gingivitis.  I trusted Dr. Beard and his staff was very friendly and courteous.  The office was very clean and sterile.  Dr. Beard took out three baby teeth, trimmed his nails and cleaned and polished his teeth.  He truly loves animals. The office was in a good location. I would highly recommend him to other dog or cat owners who need a good veterinarian. Read Less
