I am truly saddened to report that we have chosen to leave this facility, as I do think Dr. Lee was great. On September 1, 2017, we had to wait one hour past our appointment time, no doctor came to see us, so we left, due to other commitments. I LOVE this vet office! Dr Ebling and his staff are always welcoming, accommodating, and understanding of my little scaredy cat.  They are very thorough, explain all of the options and current recommendations, and are very patient.  My last vet required my cat be sedated with gas every single visit because he was so misbehaved, not once have I had to do this at their office.. they let him come out of his carrier on his own terms, and are very gentle and he actually does well! We actually recently moved and there is a place closer to us, but I really like going here and feel very reassured.  They are never pushy, just very informative and caring.  Thank you for treating my baby so well! This used to be a great practice 30 years ago when I first started bringing my animals here, but over the past couple years it's become obvious all they care about now is squeezing every nickel out of every visit. While  these vets probably used to care about animals once, they sure don't show it anymore. The interaction between vet and pet is mechanical at best, and it's obvious the clock is ticking the whole time. And its tough to understand where these vets are rushing to get, because the waiting room is usually empty. One vet actually follows up by phone and seems to show some concern, but the rest range from disinterested to downright rude.The staff is only slightly better -- you get the impression this is not a fun place to work so don't ask them to go the extra mile on something, like finding a same day euthanasia appointment for an animal in agony. I only wish I recognized how far this practice had declined before the horrible service I received last year in treating two aging ailing dogs. the end result -- unnecessary suffering for them, heartache for me and close to $2000 in misdiagnosis and inaccurate testing.Love your animal?  drive away. Tried them for a year, but wasn't happy with the staff, the lack of returned calls, the feeling that unnecessary expenses were being pushed, and the fact that our dog was terrified of the place.  She is much happier with her new vet and so are we. Read Less

Every single one of the staff are incredible human beings. We took our sweetie kitty in to be put down after a kidney failure diagnosis. Dr. Lee did a final exam and informed us that this was not her day to go. Jessica the tech patiently showed us how to administer fluids and listened to every concern we had. I had the misfortune of running into one of the employees while walking my dog. She introduced herself as working here and then continued to harass me telling me my dog had been beaten and telling me to talk to my pet. We happened to be walking the same direction and she kept going on and on, so I turned around and she continued to tell me that I should talk to my dog and that she had been beaten as I walked away. Super rude. My dog is very finicky and high anxiety. Her breed is known for not liking strangers. She was very rude and unwelcome. My dog has NEVER been beat and is a very happy loved dog. I will never take her here or recommend them to here. They should hire better people. Read Less

I brought my dog to Brighton after struggling to find a solution to my dogs allergies. Other doctors wanted to order expensive tests and even minor surgeries to diagnose. Dr. B met with us, made a diagnostic that wasn't invasive nor expensive and solved the problem. I love the care our fur babies get from their team. Thank you Brighton! Read Less

5+ star rating!The staff at Brighton Animal Hospital has been nothing but gracious, accommodating, kind and caring with us and our dog.We have extensive experience seeing Dr. Lee, and have seen Dr. Lawrence as well. The staff is very pleasant, knows us by name when we go in, & they are so good with our rescue dog. Every time we leave I always feel that they truly care. In general, vet bills can be expensive but I never feel like I'm being ripped off when I pay. The service provided is top quality. An earlier review from 2011 I think can be deemed inapplicable and outdated. The Brighton Animal Hospital is a GREAT place to take your furry ones to be cared for!!! Read Less

I usually don't write poor reviews, but I am very unsatisfied! We just moved to the area and decided to give Brighton animal hospital a try for my elderly dog who wasn't seeming like himself. After talking with the Vet. I told her his symptoms and she decided to do blood work. They ran the blood work, and called us the next day to let us know A: he has kidney failure and its untreatable, or B: its leptospirosis (the put him on antibiotics for precautionary reasons) and they will need to do another test, but would call us back when they checked if they had enough blood to run the second test, so we could give the go ahead. Well, I heard nothing back from them until today when I received a bill in the mail for a test we never agreed to, and also never go the results for. I called them to see what was going on, after some confusion with the staff, they had to call me back after they went over his case to let me know he tested positive for this infection that is very contagious to people and other animals, gee I sure would have liked to know that last Friday when they received the results, but never called us. Hopefully they are more caring with their regular patients.Read Less

I have taken 2 extremely sick cats to Dr. Aubrey at the Brighton Animal Hospital. He is one of the most kind, compassionate, and thorough veterinarian I have ever dealt with. The kitties all liked him and also Sharon, his assistant. I would recommend him to anyone that has a cherished cat that needs medical attention. I have brought my dogs in for basic check-ups to minor surgery and everyone has always been wonderful! It is obvious that they love animals as much as their clients' owners do.
