Our puppy was accidentally run over by a 4 wheeler. The new vet at reese said that our dog would be ok with its hip in back leg, because he had two good front legs. What she failed to tell us was one of his front legs was broke, after two weeks she said it wouldn't heal because of being so long. We had to get our dog put down last friday. The vet said we had to come sign papers to get him put down. When I got there a lady came out to car I said I wanted to talk to the vet. She informed me the vet was gone for the day. I signed papers and ask lady to have vet call me monday to explain why she never said nothing to me about front leg. She informed me that I'd brought dog in because of hip. Was very rude!!!! Then I explained I was wondering who put my dog down friday if she wasnt there. She stated she didnt know what I was talking about and hung up. Mr reese was a great vet for years. I use to love Reese, trusted he and his staff would care for my 4 legged family members, then I was hit by a hard reality. I had a beautiful GSD who was 5 when he died of kidney failure, I was surprised how this could just happen and there be no signs, but he had all the signs and Reese knew them yet reassures that he was as healthy as a horse "perfect" condition he said. When I looked up kidney failure in dogs I saw a list of symptoms that any vet would have known, I even sa...w that the breed of dog was predisposed to kidney failure. So I lost any amazing family member to this clinics lack of medical knowledge in animals and all they could do is say "I'm sorry" don't apologize just make sure you don't allow another animal to suffer and die, causing pain to a whole family. Do your research and better yourself as an animal clinic and veterinarians. As for anyone reading this who has a 4 legged family member, please don't make my mistake and just trust those who work here, do your own research and protect them. See More Read Less
