This place was wonderful to both my dog and family. Such an amazing staff and amazing doctors. My dog was diagnosed with lymphoma stage 2, when we got the news the staff and doctors talked about all our options and answered all of our questions and gave us time to think about all the info. We decided to do the treatment and all our trips there were amazing for both dog and myself, very warm, loving, kind people who my dog loved despite the situation she was in. She was in remission after 2 chemo visits and hardly got sick. Best part is we moved away while doing chemo treatments and our dog got sick from the chemo and Animal Cancer and Imagine Center was more concerned and took the time to contact her vet and continued to stay in contact with me. They really are the best! These are pictures of aly while getting treatment and now still in remission :) Read Less

I can't say enough positive things about these guys. Plain and simple they saved our dog's life. We noticed the lump after 3 weeks, 6 other vet appts and an MRI were referred to ACIC. The greeting was warm, the doctor was incredibly intelligent and a plan was made that day. Our 8 year old golden had his leg amputated on my due date, they were so accommodating to our 1.5 hr drive and the huge event going on in our personal life in addition to this. As of now he is completely out of pain happy and jumping around and enjoying one of his favorite things, last night's large snowfall. If it were not for ACIC and Popeyes Foundation we would have had to say goodbye to our dog weeks ago instead we are so happy that our first baby got to meet our first human baby. Read Less

Our vet suspected Hemangiosarcoma in our 12 year old goldendoodle and recommended the Animal Cancer Center and Imaging Center for an ultrasound. He was examined by Dr. Warzee who confirmed the cancer. We felt that she was very knowledgeable, capable, and found her to be very compassionate. She thoroughly explained his cancer and poor prognosis. We felt that the ultrasound and consultation charges were very fair. The office was very welcoming, and as a bonus, they have little rugs everywhere for our furry friends who have a hard time walking on slippery surfaces. If your dog is diagnosed with cancer, I highly recommend this facility. Unfortunately, our dog had a particularly aggressive form of this cancer, and he passed after a few days of our visit. I went to the Animal Cancer and Imaging Center for the second time yesterday.  My experience with them is the same this time as it was 7 years ago.  They are the best vet ever.   Seven years ago, I took my cat there for what my vet said could be cancer and wanted to remove my cat's kidney.  I saw Dr. Joyce Obradovich.  She is so kind and compassionate.  Through an ultrasound, she was able to determine that my cat had water around his kidney.  A condition that he probably had his entire life -- and did not require removal of the kidney.  Yesterday, we took our Springer Spaniel in.  We found a lump on her side.  Dr. Joyce did a needle biopsy and an ultrasound of her abdomen.  Fortunately, the diagnosis was a fatty tumor with no treatment necessary.  Our bill was less than walking into our normal veterinarian and not getting anything but a check up!!!!!!!!!!   Again, she is kind and compassionate.  The office staff are all nice.  The atmosphere is clean and calm. The facility is VERY homelike. The reception staff and vet tech, Jim, were beyond caring and pleasant. The Dr. "W" walked in the room after examining our dog. Didn't say hello, welcome, just started speaking about what she found during the exam. I was very emotional, she asked if she should stop. After speaking about treatment options, she left and the vet tech came in to explain the costs, tests etc. She never once said, I'm sorry, this must be hard, good luck or I'd be happy to do the surgery and hope to buy some time for your dog, NOTHING. Though she seemed VERY knowledgeable and intelligent, drew everything on a marker board, she had absolutely no bedside manner for a very difficult situation with a grim diagnosis of cancer. I would give 0 stars if I could. My dog was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and my vet referred us to this place. They WERE very quick to get us in luckily, the front desk ladies were very nice. Though the vet was VERY rude, very dry, straight to the point, merciless. Looked at the x-rays I brought in and gave us a few options. The best was amputation with chemotherapy and the cost was OUTRAGEOUS. Over $10,000 and her life expectancy with amputation and chemo is only a year- at best, and she told me this in a very uncaring way. I really would think that these kinds of places would do things out of the kindness of their hearts (vets), not things for free but also not try to bankrupt you. I say this because I called around afterwards and ended up at the humane society (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) and the amputation estimate there was $400-1,000 VS $3,500-6,000 the imaging center gave us- that didn't even include the $900 CONSULTATION we were charged just to be given these options. The humane society gets a bad rep but they are amazing and so caring- and affordable. Bottom line is Animal Cancer and Imaging Center is unsympathetic, rude and ridiculously priced. If you end up here, definitely get other opinions before making your final decision. Read Less
