Excellent place, the doctor explains everything to perfection and shows kindness and love for the animals, if there is a procedure that they can't do, they don't take the chance of making a mistake or taking on to something they might not be able to help your pet with, so they they are great and professional on suggesting places to get certain procedures done for your pets. You don't ever feel like they are trying to rip you off and they ALWAYS look after the well being of your loved pet. The staff is super friendly and if you need your pet's records, xrays, etc. they are fast and conveniently send what you neet to your email.

Friendly staff. I went to at least 7 differant vets in the area before finding this place. They care, and i told them every vet was just drugging up my dog with no solutions to her rashes and ear infections. They came up with a solution which i was so thankful for. It was hard to find someone that wanted to help even though they could of made a lot if money letting my dog suffer like the other vets were. Words can not express how thankful i am for them. When I first got my cat, Pebbles, I noticed he was having these asthma like attacks and I took him to the vet and they told me he had the herpes virus. After awhile I noticed he wasn't getting any better with the medicine they gave him, so I called around to other vets and found Great Lakes Animal Hospital. Most places are booked for weeks, but here they look me right away which is important to me. Taking Pebbles to Great Lakes Animal Hospital was the greatest decision I have made. Right away they took tests and in a few days Pebbles had the correct medicine and diagnosis. Turns out he has heartworm and that can cause the asthma like attacks. It's been about a week now with him on this new medicine and I'm already noticing a difference. Throughout the day he may only have 1 asthma outbreak compared to 5-10 times a day that he was having before. Pebbles has always been a very silent cat and now he has a voice. He's meowing a lot more when he wants something and he is super energetic. It seems like his airway his clearing up and now he is a happy and healthy little boy :) thank you to Dr. Saini and the rest of GLAH for the care that you have given to us.
Pricing: The prices are a little high here, but most places are. If looking for a cheaper place this may not be the place to go, but if you want honest care then I would definitely recommend you to this vet clinic.

Dr Saini and the staff at Great Lakes Animal Hospital are outstanding!! My family has been taking our dogs there for years!! Dr Saini and Dr. Patel are so very nice, caring, and are very knowledgeable doctors! The staff at GLAH go above and beyond, especially calling after surgeries, sickness, ect. The care they show my pets is enduring and I'm forever grateful! They also have amazing and accommodating hours of business and reasonable prices.

I am forever thankful for Dr. Saini and Dr. Patel at Great Lakes Animal Hospital. My family and I have been talking our fur babies to see Dr. Saini for over 15 years! I can't say enough about Dr. Saini and his Staff. They definitely have a way of treating you and your animals like family! My oldest dog Tyson (a puggle) has had quite a few issues since he was a puppy , from stomach problems, back problems, respitory issues, due claw surgery, to recently cancer in his spleen. All of which Dr. Saini and Dr. Patel have treated with honesty and integrity as if they were treating their own dog. I highly respect His practice as they have gone above and beyond to help keep my animals healthy and happy. In fact they are the reason they are still so healthy and happy today! I respect the opinion of these two Dr.s so very much. They have taken such good care of my babies and for that I am forever greatful. I love my dogs and wouldn't trust anyone else with them, simply put. For the record we have a vetinarian in the family and still won't go anywhere else if that tells you anything about Dr Saini and his practice.

I have been going to GLAH for over 6 years.Had 4 kitties. Unfortunately lost 2 of them over 3 years.from cancer and age. Dr.Sani and Dr. Patel. And the staff are the most caring.most qualified vets and assistants I've ever experienced.I've recommended GLAH to many people. And know people who have been going for years.I had lived in Roseville and moved to Sterling Heights. So I had to switch.Lucky for me I found this wonderful place.

My almost 2 y.o. Kitten hadn't eaten in three days, puking bile roughly every hour of the day and wasn't her energetic quirky self. I took her to GLAH for the first time and while I do agree the staff of friendly, but the doctor is a crock.
Tried to get me to pay 975.00 to do different procedures, telling me if I didn't she would die. She told me it was her liver and other things were failing.
I went and got a second opinion at North Suburban Veterinarian on 14 mile east of Ryan.
Turns out, my kitten had a string tied to its tongue. Absolutely nothing the doctor told me was accurate according to Dr. J at North Suburban. Dr. J tells it how it is and is definitely better with price for my babies.

They are also very active on FB always posting area warnings that could effect your animals as well as interesting articles to help care for your pet. Prices are comparable to other vets in the area but their values and attentiveness keep me coming back.

I've been taking my dogs to Dr. Saini for about 13 years. The entire staff at GLAH is outstanding. They truly love and care for animals. I drive 20-25 minutes to get to their location from my home, past countless other vet offices, and I would never go anyplace else.They never recommend tests or treatment unless necessary, and the pricing is reasonable. I love my dogs - they are a part of the family. I wouldn't trust the care of my pets with any other vet office. They treat your pets with great care and kindness. When one of my dogs was seriously ill, the entire staff was so helpful and accommodating. It was a scary time, but they made me feel confident and comfortable having him in their care. They truly go the extra mile when necessary, well above and beyond what I would expect. They are top notch, as another reviewer said. If you want the absolute best care for your pets, this is the place to go.

Great Lakes Animal Hospital is the absolute best veterinary clinic ever. I've been bringing my dogs here for years and I still remain awestruck by how passionate and kind their entire staff is. You can tell that the doctors and nurses truly care about animals and the staff is knowledgeable and patient when it comes to answering any questions you may have. I was recommended to great lakes animal hospital by one of my very good friends. After much research, calling the hospital, meeting the staff and taking a tour of the facility, I made the decision to take both my dogs and cat to Great Lakes Animal Hospital. I have been going to them for the past 6 years, I have not one complaint. They truly do treat my pets as they would their own. When I find a place I truly love I am not shy about telling everyone about it, I have since recommended my entire family and my close friends to this hospital. I would like to thank the GLAH staff for being compassionate and very respecting. Dr. Saini you are the best and I couldn't have asked for any one better to take care of my babies.

My friends took their dogs there for consultations. The vet insisted onthem getting ALL shots. The kennel cough shot had made both dogs Ill. The one actually has kennel cough now, and the other has insistent sneezing/runny nose. Her cough is so bad that she sounds like a seal, and looks like she can't breathe. The dogs didn't even need those shots, because they are never kennels or in contact with other dogs. They took the dogs back, charged them extra, and they are now on meds. What a horrible vet office.

I had a horrible experience! They are overpriced in the first place. Then they charged me for something I was told I did not need. Then they gave me a credit BUT only on my account there (which I do not plan to go back) and the credit was less than half of what they actually owed me. The people working there told false stories to their manager. I would never recommend anyone to go there. The Humane Society is cheaper and will not steal your money.

I had just moved back up to Michigan from South Carolina being told my Tasha Probably had cancer. She was loosing weight rapidly. I thought she would have more time but it was not to be. The day I decided to have her euthanized was sudden. I called Great Lakes and they saw her right away. Tasha and I were received with graciouness. It was the hardest decision I think any pet owner has to make and the staff was caring and concerned. I would highly recommend this clinic to any pet owner and I plan to take my new kitten there for treatment and shots when needed.

Excellent place, the doctor explains everything to perfection and shows kindness and love for the animals, if there is a procedure that they can't do, they don't take the chance of making a mistake or taking on to something they might not be able to help your pet with, so they they are great and professional on suggesting places to get certain procedures done for your pets. You don't ever feel like they are trying to rip you off and they ALWAYS look after the well being of your loved pet. The staff is super friendly and if you need your pet's records, xrays, etc. they are fast and conveniently send what you neet to your email.

Friendly staff. I went to at least 7 differant vets in the area before finding this place. They care, and i told them every vet was just drugging up my dog with no solutions to her rashes and ear infections. They came up with a solution which i was so thankful for. It was hard to find someone that wanted to help even though they could of made a lot if money letting my dog suffer like the other vets were. Words can not express how thankful i am for them. When I first got my cat, Pebbles, I noticed he was having these asthma like attacks and I took him to the vet and they told me he had the herpes virus. After awhile I noticed he wasn't getting any better with the medicine they gave him, so I called around to other vets and found Great Lakes Animal Hospital. Most places are booked for weeks, but here they look me right away which is important to me. Taking Pebbles to Great Lakes Animal Hospital was the greatest decision I have made. Right away they took tests and in a few days Pebbles had the correct medicine and diagnosis. Turns out he has heartworm and that can cause the asthma like attacks. It's been about a week now with him on this new medicine and I'm already noticing a difference. Throughout the day he may only have 1 asthma outbreak compared to 5-10 times a day that he was having before. Pebbles has always been a very silent cat and now he has a voice. He's meowing a lot more when he wants something and he is super energetic. It seems like his airway his clearing up and now he is a happy and healthy little boy :) thank you to Dr. Saini and the rest of GLAH for the care that you have given to us.
Pricing: The prices are a little high here, but most places are. If looking for a cheaper place this may not be the place to go, but if you want honest care then I would definitely recommend you to this vet clinic.

Dr Saini and the staff at Great Lakes Animal Hospital are outstanding!! My family has been taking our dogs there for years!! Dr Saini and Dr. Patel are so very nice, caring, and are very knowledgeable doctors! The staff at GLAH go above and beyond, especially calling after surgeries, sickness, ect. The care they show my pets is enduring and I'm forever grateful! They also have amazing and accommodating hours of business and reasonable prices.

I am forever thankful for Dr. Saini and Dr. Patel at Great Lakes Animal Hospital. My family and I have been talking our fur babies to see Dr. Saini for over 15 years! I can't say enough about Dr. Saini and his Staff. They definitely have a way of treating you and your animals like family! My oldest dog Tyson (a puggle) has had quite a few issues since he was a puppy , from stomach problems, back problems, respitory issues, due claw surgery, to recently cancer in his spleen. All of which Dr. Saini and Dr. Patel have treated with honesty and integrity as if they were treating their own dog. I highly respect His practice as they have gone above and beyond to help keep my animals healthy and happy. In fact they are the reason they are still so healthy and happy today! I respect the opinion of these two Dr.s so very much. They have taken such good care of my babies and for that I am forever greatful. I love my dogs and wouldn't trust anyone else with them, simply put. For the record we have a vetinarian in the family and still won't go anywhere else if that tells you anything about Dr Saini and his practice.

My almost 2 y.o. Kitten hadn't eaten in three days, puking bile roughly every hour of the day and wasn't her energetic quirky self. I took her to GLAH for the first time and while I do agree the staff of friendly, but the doctor is a crock.
Tried to get me to pay 975.00 to do different procedures, telling me if I didn't she would die. She told me it was her liver and other things were failing.
I went and got a second opinion at North Suburban Veterinarian on 14 mile east of Ryan.
Turns out, my kitten had a string tied to its tongue. Absolutely nothing the doctor told me was accurate according to Dr. J at North Suburban. Dr. J tells it how it is and is definitely better with price for my babies.

They are also very active on FB always posting area warnings that could effect your animals as well as interesting articles to help care for your pet. Prices are comparable to other vets in the area but their values and attentiveness keep me coming back.

I've been taking my dogs to Dr. Saini for about 13 years. The entire staff at GLAH is outstanding. They truly love and care for animals. I drive 20-25 minutes to get to their location from my home, past countless other vet offices, and I would never go anyplace else.They never recommend tests or treatment unless necessary, and the pricing is reasonable. I love my dogs - they are a part of the family. I wouldn't trust the care of my pets with any other vet office. They treat your pets with great care and kindness. When one of my dogs was seriously ill, the entire staff was so helpful and accommodating. It was a scary time, but they made me feel confident and comfortable having him in their care. They truly go the extra mile when necessary, well above and beyond what I would expect. They are top notch, as another reviewer said. If you want the absolute best care for your pets, this is the place to go.

Great Lakes Animal Hospital is the absolute best veterinary clinic ever. I've been bringing my dogs here for years and I still remain awestruck by how passionate and kind their entire staff is. You can tell that the doctors and nurses truly care about animals and the staff is knowledgeable and patient when it comes to answering any questions you may have. I was recommended to great lakes animal hospital by one of my very good friends. After much research, calling the hospital, meeting the staff and taking a tour of the facility, I made the decision to take both my dogs and cat to Great Lakes Animal Hospital. I have been going to them for the past 6 years, I have not one complaint. They truly do treat my pets as they would their own. When I find a place I truly love I am not shy about telling everyone about it, I have since recommended my entire family and my close friends to this hospital. I would like to thank the GLAH staff for being compassionate and very respecting. Dr. Saini you are the best and I couldn't have asked for any one better to take care of my babies.

My friends took their dogs there for consultations. The vet insisted onthem getting ALL shots. The kennel cough shot had made both dogs Ill. The one actually has kennel cough now, and the other has insistent sneezing/runny nose. Her cough is so bad that she sounds like a seal, and looks like she can't breathe. The dogs didn't even need those shots, because they are never kennels or in contact with other dogs. They took the dogs back, charged them extra, and they are now on meds. What a horrible vet office.

I had a horrible experience! They are overpriced in the first place. Then they charged me for something I was told I did not need. Then they gave me a credit BUT only on my account there (which I do not plan to go back) and the credit was less than half of what they actually owed me. The people working there told false stories to their manager. I would never recommend anyone to go there. The Humane Society is cheaper and will not steal your money.

I had just moved back up to Michigan from South Carolina being told my Tasha Probably had cancer. She was loosing weight rapidly. I thought she would have more time but it was not to be. The day I decided to have her euthanized was sudden. I called Great Lakes and they saw her right away. Tasha and I were received with graciouness. It was the hardest decision I think any pet owner has to make and the staff was caring and concerned. I would highly recommend this clinic to any pet owner and I plan to take my new kitten there for treatment and shots when needed.
