Memorial Weekend (Saturday) vet care was needed. My miniature poodle has a trachea condition that causes it to collapse. He is aging and was really having a tough time breathing. As if I didn't like this veterinary hospital before now I really like it. After having my cat nails and fur trim,I got into my car only to have it not start up for me went back in and ask if anyone had jumping cables sure enough Dr. Dan Deciechi had a pair and help me get my car started so I can take my kitty back home. I went in there with a dog I just adopted he is 5.5 yrs old all he did was address the ear issue that he said was a lot of wax, no its infected like I thought. Also never even checked him out at all didn't listen to his heart or anything. This place used to be good it has gone down in the past few years. This is the best vet I've ever been to. Finally got some answers about his regurgitation and vomiting issues. Finally had an actual culture taken of the ear infection I've been fighting for 3 months. Finally got a veterinarian who could take the time to give me a demonstration with a model about how to properly clean out his ears, and how to avoid damaging his ears/bursting the ear drum. FINALLY got a veterinarian who would check his weight, do an overall wellness exam including checking his heartbeat, take a culture of the ear infection, and do a stool sample. Most importantly, I finally found a veterinarian who would give me straight answers and explanations about my dog's treatments and how to do what's best for his health, and my dog was completely comfortable in the exam room (surprise, surprise!). Dr. Kenneth Ahrens DVM treated my dog with dignity and compassion, and still I walked out for less than $100. I am more impressed with this veterinarian than I can express in words. I'm tired of my dog regurgitating his food on my carpet every day, and finally found a vet who took his time with us and helped me explore all the possible causes and options. As long as I remain in this area, I will be taking my dogs to this clinic! Read Less

Your experience here depends on the doctor you get. Dr. Lonaker is friendly, engaging, informative, and caring. Dr. Hudgeons is a bit dismissive and lacking in empathy...he casually made my kid cry with a tossed off remark about how our cat could have cancer (he didn't) and there wouldn't be anything he could do. Front office staff is always kind, caring, and polite. No complaints, still going there. :) Read Less

The staff is very friendly and outgoing. They do not pressure you only make suggestions. I also loved it when they called a couple days later to check on our dog, just to see if he was doing ok.
