I've been coming here for years and I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. A few years ago, my dog was attacked by another dog and required emergency surgery. It was a horrible situation but Dr. Putt went above and beyond to make sure he was okay. She communicated with me throughout the whole process and kept me informed which was so comforting.
The staff is always so friendly, helpful, and thorough. I just had my dogs teeth cleaned and they did a great job. I'm so grateful for all the care they provide my best friend. They really are the best!!

Honestly one of the best vets I have ever been to and we have been to several all throughout Metro Detroit. The front desk staff are ALWAYS friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. We have seen a few different vets (I think 2?) while bringing in 3 of our 4 dogs. Every single vet was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Even when I called to say I had moved and was switching vets, Laurel (who answered the phone) was just as sweet and accommodating as ever and offered to fax and email our dogs records so I had copies for the new vet.The ONLY time I ever had concern was when I told one of the vet techs that we were contemplating a raw diet for our dogs and she said the vet would not be able to see us if our dogs were on a raw diet because the vet had recently undergone chemotherapy. I'm not sure if the entire office is against a raw diet or if this vet tech represented the policy of the office or was just speaking on behalf of that particular vet...honestly not sure.Pricing/billing is wonderful. They are one of the most reasonable vets around.If you live in the area, do yourself a favor and visit Commerce Village Vet Hospital.

I am so thankful I found Commerce Village Vet! If you are looking for a place that WANTS you to be involved, ask questions, and takes your opinions seriously, this is the place for you. If you want your pet to receive excellent medical care as well as lots of love, this is the place for you!
We saw Dr. Rutsey and could not have been happier! She listened to all of my rambling and answered all of my questions in detail. Our cat stayed over night, and it was Dr. Rutsey who called me the next morning to tell me how he was doing. I dropped him off in the morning, and the staff encouraged me to call and see how he was doing throughout the day.
I was so impressed with the care that Tyler(our cat) and I received, that I swore I would write a review to make sure other people are pointed in the right direction!
Not only was Dr. Rutsey fantastic, but the staff was lovely and incredibly caring as well! They take the time to do the job right, and I feel very confident recommending them to other pet parents!
What a great place to have on our team!!

I brought my 24 year old cat in to be euthanized. They allowed me to come in immediately, since she was suffering. I had called 3 or 4 other places that told me I would have to wait until late afternoon for an appointment. The level of compassion was amazing. The back room where the procedure is done was not decorated like an exam room; there were couches, and the procedure table had a thick blanket. They explained everything and were very unobtrusive about payment.

So, I recently changed vets after the practice I was going to just was not meeting our needs. Dr. Putt worked at the old practice years ago so I was so happy to hear that she had opened her own practice and I found her! I have 3 dogs and over the past few weeks have seen each of the vets there. They are all wonderful. The level of care is top notch. The front desk and vet techs are all so accommodating and nice. I highly recommended this practice if you are looking for a practice that puts your pet fist, cares that they are comfortable and healthy this is the place to go!

An Exceptional Animal hospital from start to finish. Extemely knowledgable veterinarians who are thorough and compassionate. They make certain all questions are answered, and never rush clients. The staff is caring and it is quite easy to see they have a real passion for the their animal patients. Both owners and pets are made to feel very welcome in a clean well set up operation. i would, and have, highly recommended Dr. Putt and her staff. I feel blessed for the time we had together and grateful he showed up on my doorstep 14 years ago at approximately 1 year old. I nursed him back to health after the abuse he endured before I knew him. Then...he cared for me during difficult times and his kisses reminded me of my purpose in life. He licked away my tears and always made me smile. The unconditional love he gave me surpassed any I've ever experienced! In return...I loved him unconditionally wholeheartedly and will forever. I'm thankful for my supportive and loving parents (Mom & Dad GC) who were with me to send Hans to his new pain free home in heaven! My mom took this pic of us at Commerce Village Veterinary Hospital while we were waiting for the doctor. I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Sharon Napiwocki, DVM! This was our first time there and I wish I would've known how amazing they all are there! I've never seen such an abundance of compassion at any Veterinary clinic or hospital before! They were patient, kind, sympathetic and offered Hans a homemade chocolate chip cookie before his eternal slumber. When he wouldn't eat anything...it was a true confirmation to say our goodbyes. Things happen for a reason. Hans' regular vet couldn't see him soon enough. Then I stumbled across their number and found an angel of a doctor! Last night it was time to say goodbye to our cat of 13 years. The place we had taken him before was closed because it was later in the evening. We called around to find pricing and Commerce Village Vet was by far the most reasonable. They were kind enough to squeeze us in, even though they were booked solid. When we arrived, someone met us at the door and took us right back to an exam room. Yes, we had to wait a little bit but we knew that was to be expected since we didn't have a regular appointment. Everyone was fantastic. They were super nice, very empathetic, and extra gentle with our very old, and very frail kitty. No one, at any point, made us feel like we were making the wrong choice. They even made clay impressions of his paws as a momento for us at no extra cost. When they realized we didn't bring a box to take him home in they gave us one of theirs (a very nice "casket" [cardboard box] with a padded bottom). I'd like to thank everyone at Commerce Village Vet for being so awesome at one of the hardest times in our lives. I'll recommend you to anyone with a pet. We won't go anywhere else.

Then we brought in our cats - and we can bring the whole furry family at one time! Saves time and money. This vet and staff want what's best for your furry friends not what will profit them the most. The staff is exceptional as well. May have something to do with Dr. Putt's caring, respectful demeanor. And a strong sense of humor and aura of calm. Heck, I love going there. You will too. Go! I've been coming here for years and I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. A few years ago, my dog was attacked by another dog and required emergency surgery. It was a horrible situation but Dr. Putt went above and beyond to make sure he was okay. She communicated with me throughout the whole process and kept me informed which was so comforting.
The staff is always so friendly, helpful, and thorough. I just had my dogs teeth cleaned and they did a great job. I'm so grateful for all the care they provide my best friend. They really are the best!!

Honestly one of the best vets I have ever been to and we have been to several all throughout Metro Detroit. The front desk staff are ALWAYS friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. We have seen a few different vets (I think 2?) while bringing in 3 of our 4 dogs. Every single vet was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Even when I called to say I had moved and was switching vets, Laurel (who answered the phone) was just as sweet and accommodating as ever and offered to fax and email our dogs records so I had copies for the new vet.The ONLY time I ever had concern was when I told one of the vet techs that we were contemplating a raw diet for our dogs and she said the vet would not be able to see us if our dogs were on a raw diet because the vet had recently undergone chemotherapy. I'm not sure if the entire office is against a raw diet or if this vet tech represented the policy of the office or was just speaking on behalf of that particular vet...honestly not sure.Pricing/billing is wonderful. They are one of the most reasonable vets around.If you live in the area, do yourself a favor and visit Commerce Village Vet Hospital.

I am so thankful I found Commerce Village Vet! If you are looking for a place that WANTS you to be involved, ask questions, and takes your opinions seriously, this is the place for you. If you want your pet to receive excellent medical care as well as lots of love, this is the place for you!
We saw Dr. Rutsey and could not have been happier! She listened to all of my rambling and answered all of my questions in detail. Our cat stayed over night, and it was Dr. Rutsey who called me the next morning to tell me how he was doing. I dropped him off in the morning, and the staff encouraged me to call and see how he was doing throughout the day.
I was so impressed with the care that Tyler(our cat) and I received, that I swore I would write a review to make sure other people are pointed in the right direction!
Not only was Dr. Rutsey fantastic, but the staff was lovely and incredibly caring as well! They take the time to do the job right, and I feel very confident recommending them to other pet parents!
What a great place to have on our team!!

I brought my 24 year old cat in to be euthanized. They allowed me to come in immediately, since she was suffering. I had called 3 or 4 other places that told me I would have to wait until late afternoon for an appointment. The level of compassion was amazing. The back room where the procedure is done was not decorated like an exam room; there were couches, and the procedure table had a thick blanket. They explained everything and were very unobtrusive about payment.

So, I recently changed vets after the practice I was going to just was not meeting our needs. Dr. Putt worked at the old practice years ago so I was so happy to hear that she had opened her own practice and I found her! I have 3 dogs and over the past few weeks have seen each of the vets there. They are all wonderful. The level of care is top notch. The front desk and vet techs are all so accommodating and nice. I highly recommended this practice if you are looking for a practice that puts your pet fist, cares that they are comfortable and healthy this is the place to go!

An Exceptional Animal hospital from start to finish. Extemely knowledgable veterinarians who are thorough and compassionate. They make certain all questions are answered, and never rush clients. The staff is caring and it is quite easy to see they have a real passion for the their animal patients. Both owners and pets are made to feel very welcome in a clean well set up operation. i would, and have, highly recommended Dr. Putt and her staff. I feel blessed for the time we had together and grateful he showed up on my doorstep 14 years ago at approximately 1 year old. I nursed him back to health after the abuse he endured before I knew him. Then...he cared for me during difficult times and his kisses reminded me of my purpose in life. He licked away my tears and always made me smile. The unconditional love he gave me surpassed any I've ever experienced! In return...I loved him unconditionally wholeheartedly and will forever. I'm thankful for my supportive and loving parents (Mom & Dad GC) who were with me to send Hans to his new pain free home in heaven! My mom took this pic of us at Commerce Village Veterinary Hospital while we were waiting for the doctor. I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Sharon Napiwocki, DVM! This was our first time there and I wish I would've known how amazing they all are there! I've never seen such an abundance of compassion at any Veterinary clinic or hospital before! They were patient, kind, sympathetic and offered Hans a homemade chocolate chip cookie before his eternal slumber. When he wouldn't eat anything...it was a true confirmation to say our goodbyes. Things happen for a reason. Hans' regular vet couldn't see him soon enough. Then I stumbled across their number and found an angel of a doctor! Last night it was time to say goodbye to our cat of 13 years. The place we had taken him before was closed because it was later in the evening. We called around to find pricing and Commerce Village Vet was by far the most reasonable. They were kind enough to squeeze us in, even though they were booked solid. When we arrived, someone met us at the door and took us right back to an exam room. Yes, we had to wait a little bit but we knew that was to be expected since we didn't have a regular appointment. Everyone was fantastic. They were super nice, very empathetic, and extra gentle with our very old, and very frail kitty. No one, at any point, made us feel like we were making the wrong choice. They even made clay impressions of his paws as a momento for us at no extra cost. When they realized we didn't bring a box to take him home in they gave us one of theirs (a very nice "casket" [cardboard box] with a padded bottom). I'd like to thank everyone at Commerce Village Vet for being so awesome at one of the hardest times in our lives. I'll recommend you to anyone with a pet. We won't go anywhere else.

My Bengal Hawkeye was having a lot of respiratory issues when we first got him and Dr. Putt helped us figure everything out and was very informative! Her staff is amazing as well and there is no pressure to spend a lot of money! They inform you of their services and the options and costs then allow you to make decisions. Been to many vets in this area. Looking no longer! Dr. Putt saw in our Lab what others totally missed. She's a new dog! Then we brought in our cats - and we can bring the whole furry family at one time! Saves time and money. This vet and staff want what's best for your furry friends not what will profit them the most. The staff is exceptional as well. May have something to do with Dr. Putt's caring, respectful demeanor. And a strong sense of humor and aura of calm. Heck, I love going there. You will too. Go! It may be the best decision you've ever made.
