Dr. Sovey is a kind and knowledgeable Veterinarian. Her staff are friendly and always helpful. The waiting area and exam rooms are always clean. I never feel like I am waiting too long for the Doctor. Going beyond standards as they also offer grooming by a very talented groomer. Acupuncture, and laser treatments for animal with cronic wounds and pain. I highly recommend this Veterinary office. Read Less

I have never been to this clinic, but I know Dr. Harbeck is an amazing veterinarian. I was sad to find out that she was no longer in the Fenton area. Nine years ago, she went above and beyond to save my cat ZBB. He ingested some thread that was wrapped around his tongue. The thread reached down into his stomach and had to be surgically removed. The previous veterinarian could not find out what was wrong with ZBB. Dr. Harbeck was so kind, with my permission, I allowed her to take ZBB home with her the night before his surgery. To make sure he would make it through the night. I would highly recommend Dr. Harbeck, no matter what vet clinic she is at. Thank you again, for your act of kindness. Read Less

Dr. Sovey and the staff at Davison Veterinary Hospital are the best!! They are the type of people who look at my furry companions as a member of the family, just like I do, and treat my critters as they would their own. This is always apparent, especially with their growing family of rescue, resident animals that they have taken in to give a better opportunity to. It is a great relief to know I can call and ask about anything. They treat my kids with compassion and dignity, and are always available to answer any questions, no matter how small. I am always impressed with their advancement in treatment options that go beyond the traditional methods of healing animals (acupuncture, etc.). Dr. Sovey and her staff are amazing! They care about you and your pet and I drive out of my way just to see them. I am the kind of pet parent that can be a little bit of a worry wort about my furry babies, and it would be very easy for a vet to take advantage. I will call them if I have any concerns and they always give me sensible advice. They are also really compassionate, one of the times I was there, a woman said she couldn't afford to do the procedure and said she could pay for them to put it down (which horrified me!) but Dr. Sovey said that the dog was fine aside from needing the surgery, and said she could find an owner for the poor thing that would pay for it, and the woman agreed. They really do save lives. They have a fun sense of humor, but they are also some of the most compassionate and kind vet and vet techs I have ever encountered. I highly recommend them. Read Less

Our dog was quilled  in northern michigan on Saturday of memorial weekend. Took her to emergency 24 hour vet in West Branch. Vet had 3 emergencies (for the same thing) that night one after another.  She wasn't able to remove all the quills but did an excellent job trying. On Monday the dog started trying to cough something up. The vet did a follow up call and told us that wasn't normal to take her to our vet asap. Our vet had surgery all afternoon and couldn't see her. So we called Davison Veterinary hospital. To my surprise they got her in right away. They put her out and did xrays and found 2 quills on each side of her throat and 2 quills in her gums. They were so kind and professional and understanding. Maybe its time to switch? I've used this clinic for a long time. They are very compassionate and loving w/my pets. However they are very very expensive. It would be nice as a long time client who's spent $1000s of dollars you get cut a break from time to time. May have to look elsewhere for pet care :-(. Read Less
