Horrendously terrible vet. Incompetent from the top down. And we were 10+ time loyal regulars and still got screwed over by these greedy, incompetent people who can't see past their bottom line. Firstly, they simply FAILED to write down an appointment we made with them over the phone. Unless their suggestion is my entire household is clinically insane, I think its safe to say myself and my mother remember calling them on Monday and making this appointment for 10:30 AM Friday. Unfortunately, the incompetent lady on the phone couldn't do her job and write the appointment down, so she tells my mother "We can't see your cat until after every person in the waiting room" which would've taken well past noon just to START when it was a 10:30 AM appointment. My mom did not have 3+ hours to devote to what usually is a 30-45 min appointment, so had to leave. We were upset, but not gravely. We simply called a new vet who agreed to see us immediately down the road. Okay, no problem. But they wanted my cat's medical charts. So we asked the WONDERFUL, friendly (Sarcasm) folks at Ford Rd Animal clinic to send the charts to our new vet. Their reply? "Sorry, we can't do that until you pay for the medicine you ordered on file." The catch? We couldn't PAY for the medicine until it arrived at the vet....in another week. So they were literally holding our medical charts hostage on a 60 dollar ransom just to protect their own bottom line, at the expense of better health coverage for my cat who could've benefited from his new vet seeing the charts. We've now ordered the same medicine from our new vet, who offered us more convenient options for administering it (a gel rather than a liquid), options which were never offered by the Ford rd Clinic. Perhaps they simply lack the reach to offer options. This is all besides the utter failure to help and diagnose my cat by the vets themselves over many months. I would not rate a vet poorly for that alone as I understand not all medical cases are easy to solve, especially with the small budget we had to spend. However, in addition to this absolute nightmare today, its safe to conclude that this vet is beyond incompetent and best avoided for better options in the area. Good luck with your pets. Read Less

I've been for two visits so I'm still warning up to them. Receptionist is very nice. The technician is awesome and got a pill down my cats throat in less than a second!! The dr who saw my cat takes her time and answers all my questions.Read Less

I recently cut my poor Himalayan while I was attempting to remove mats with groomer's buzzers. It was an emergency and I was lucky enough to call during an opening. She required sutures and they were done beautifully. Some more cost effective solutions were discussed and they provided quotes all along the way. Every single member of their staff made me feel better after this ordeal. They even pretended to not see me tearing up over it. So I'll forever love them for that. Worst place to take your pets. They've been taking care of my dog and two cats for over a year and every visit just upsets me because of how RUDE their staff is. Especially Karen. Most rude human being on the planet. My cat tom hates her and so do I. Zero care and extreme laziness. They don't care about your pets and don't listen to what you have to say. Over priced. I couldn't be happier with this veterinary facility. EVERYONE is so kind and considerate. All three vets are wonderful and truly caring. You'll never feel rushed through. Two of my senior dogs have been their patients. They will squeeze me in when an unexpected illness or injury arises. My cat received fantastic care as an emergency walk-in. I called and they took us right away. Dr. Pete is so nice and you can tell she loves animals. It's more like a "family" atmosphere. My one dog had been coming here for treatment of the complications from congestive heart failure. The staff and doctors were wonderful and supportive through this tough time in her little life. Even when it was time to put her to sleep, it was made much easier knowing that myself and my dog would be treated with kindness and respect. My other pets also come here and have also received wonderful care. Every time I came in I was always amazed that it was so clean and didn't smell like how you think an animal clinic would smell.
