If I could give this office more than 5 stars, I would! I have been coming here for over a year with my dog and Dr. Money and the staff have taken such good care of him! He is a senior dog and the past couple of months we have gone in to see her frequently. She has treated all of his GI issues excellently, and referred us to a specialist when he needed it. All of the staff I have met over the past couple of months are so wonderful, kind, and helpful. I can get my dog's prescriptions filled here and get appointments easily. Dr. Money has called me several times to discuss the plan of care for my dog, which I so greatly appreciate. This is the best vet office I have ever been to, and will always take my dog here! The most caring vets I have ever met. Especially Dr. Good. I met her when I adopted my first dog through the Dearborn Animal shelter, way back in about 2000. She was one of the volunteer veterinarians. Her practice has grown and yet they still maintain the same kind of individualized care for every pet and owner. I’ve never been to a veterinarian who cared so much about my dog. I just recently went in to put my baby girl Sheba to sleep :(. But everyone there made my family and I feel extremely comfortable while we were saying our goodbyes. They let me give as many treats to Sheba as she could eat and everyone was so supportive and sympathetic, more so than I would’ve expected. I felt the love they have for animals, and they made my sad experience with putting my dog down a better experience...because they really did care about Sheba! And they also cared about myself and my family. About a week after we came in I received a sweet, thoughtful, and loving card about Sheba that everyone there signed, it was so touching my brother and I both cried when we read it. I’m so happy that I have somewhere to take my furry family members to, where I know people really care about them as if they were they’re own! ❤️ Thank you to everyone who works there for the card and being such beautiful people! I love this office. The staff is always friendly and I recommend them often. I love my dog so much..like a child and its hard for me to trust people with him. When i dropped him off yesterday I left in tears..not only because he was having a procedure but because I wasnt going to be there while it was done. When I came to pick him up I spotted the girl who had taken him back that morning. She seen me and she smiled at me. She stopped what she was doing and walked over to tell me how well he did and how everyone fell in love with my pitbull and how she thought he had loved them to. She ran me through the day..everything that had happened down to him sniffing around before entering the cage. All my fears were gone at that moment..trusting them. Knowing that even though i was not there he was not alone. He was taken care of and treated well. Took my 12 year old jack russell, Stewart, in to the vet last Wednesday, he was in a fight with another jack russell we have. We were concerned because in addition to the pain and constant whining and yelping he was doing, he started to pant heavily, periodically. We were worried for his survival and brought him in for an emergency visit. To our great relief, he was diagnosed with only a bad contusion, we were told all his oragns were in good shape and otherwise he was a haelthy dog. He was prescribed anti-biotics and pain medicine. He had been in less pain the last few days and was seemingly recovering. He passed away suddenly this this morning. I have strong words and feelings for the person who made this inaccurate diagnosis, and who overlooked whatever other ailment Stewie was fighting through. Those words will be expressed privately, but for the sake of your dear pets/family members, I implore you to stay away from this veterinarian. Read Less

I had been using this vet office for years and even make a trip from Wyandotte to Dearborn with two dogs that don't travel well. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience this past weekend. I had scheduled an appointment for 10:30 am. I waited, and waited, and waited in the lobby. A woman came in with her dog more than 25 minutes after I did and was seen. It wasn't until that point that someone finally explained to me that the doctor was running behind due to unexpected circumstances. While I understand unexpected circumstances happen, why I wasn't seen by the other doctor available is beyond me. One of the rooms I was told that were occupied by the second doctor was empty prior to this woman walking in. It wasn't until this other woman came and left that I was finally put into a room. I was very unhappy with the level of customer service, but it seemed like nobody in the office was empowered to push my appointment to the other doctor. Instead of making the next customer wait ten minutes, I waited nearly 45. The manager, who I was told was in an interview by the time I was in the room didn't even offer an apology as I waited 45 minutes in the waiting room. Furthetmore, Dr. Good, the only person in power to make any decisions for the practice, called me on Monday and was completely inconsiderate. I don't even think she offered an apology for my wait nor could she answer why I wasn't seen by the other available vet. I wouldn't recommend this office. I had always thought highly of it, but this was my last appointment with Dearborn Family Pet Care. Thank you to Dr. Pohl and Dr. Money for taking care of us over the 8+ years, but I'll be taking my business to a place that puts their customers first.Read Less

i love the vet service and i as a child did voluntary work with the animals and learned so much that i have actually used in my adult life with my own pets. if it wasn't for dr. Good i would have never learned to bottle feed kittens which i have now on my own saved 5 bottle babies. <3 love this vets office <3 Read Less

I can not say enough about this vet. They care about the animals and their owners. I had to put my cat to sleep today, she has a patient there for almost 12 years. They fit me in on a Saturday, saw us quickly, were so kind and helped me make the hardest decision any pet owner has to make. I did not want to take Zoey anywhere else, I could trust them till the end and as awful as this morning was, they took care of us and I am eternally grateful. Read Less

I had heard of the impeccable service and professional attitude of the staff in 1990 when I had a number of K9 obedience students who had the needs of their fur babies met by DVM Good. When my vet was out of town he suggested Dr. Goods office. She was still open. The emergency ended on a happy note and a enough change in my pocket to buy a cup of coffee on the way home. From 2013 to present Dr. Good has provide impeccable service to each of the rescue kittens and there mama, a safe clean environment in the adoption center, general health and in-depth care on an individual basis. I was thrilled to donate to the funds at the Christmas event for the animal shelter. Thankful that the staff will address my random questions when I stop in, grateful that the interior and exterior stays clean and safe for the staff, patients and clients. A few days ago my cat, Lola, had an episode where she fell down the stairs and wouldn't move. I panicked and had no idea where an emergency vet in the area was located, so I brought her here, since they are my regular vet. I was slightly hysterical and crying, but the staff was so wonderful and instead of turning me away on an extremely busy day, they squeezed me in and took care of my girl. I've been coming to Dearborn Family Pet care for the last 20 years, as a kid with my parents and our pets, and as a pet owner on my own. Dr. Good, Dr. Money and Dr. Pohl are all wonderful.
