Dr. Francis is an amazing vet. He is all old school with treating ur baby.. He's been in business at this same place since the late 1970's. He has patients that come from all over. One comes from Ann Arbor and has been bringing her dog to see him for 10yrs. A few years back Dr. Francis took good care and got my pit bull Nala she was 2 at the time all better. Nala had a gash on her side n i was in btwn pay periods so no one would work with me on getting her treatment. Her wound was trying to heal on its own but i knew it needed help. Rather than cut her n stitch her n start fresh Dr Francis gave me an ointment to put into the wound 2x a day for a week (the wound healed from the inside out) n antibiotics. And had to keep a t-shirt on her to keep it clean. All she has is just a scar...I COULD U SPELL RELIEF Saturday April 28th, 2018 My Baby Girl Sasha passed. She was a beautiful 13 yr old Lab n Golden. She wasn't feeling well and Dr. Francis worked with me and did everything within reason to try to fight to save my fur baby. Sasha passed of Congestive Heart Failure... Dr Francis is an amazing man. I brought my dad's dog to him and he diagnosed her with arthritis and he gave me everything that he could to help her survive. Eventually I had to bring her back to put her down. He was super compassionate and even told me that if there was a better solution he would offer it. He didn't rush me to make a decision and he let me stay and think about it for a while. When I decided to go through with it he let me stay with her for a while before leaving. Dr. Francis is truly an amazing person. He did a house call euthanization for my old, sweet Zena who was terrified of vet offices. Well after hours when he should have been home and in bed, he traveled to us and then took her back to his office to have her sent off to cremation early next morning. We've since visited him with another family pet that we have all but given up on due to lack of being diagnosed properly and nothing was helping her extreme and obsessive itching and chewing and open infected skin issues. He's offered to try some additional testing at no cost to us just to try to find SOMETHING that may give her some peace e so that euthanization is not our only option. I truly love this man and I will NEVER take any of my animals anywhere else again as long as he's practicing. I wish I could thank him in a way he deserves. I just want to squeeze him and kiss him up!!! Absolutely love him! When your 9 year old daughter comes home and asks is the dog got put to sleep and you say "no. Doctor Francis is the very best human being I have ever encountered while trying to help a stray kitten stay alive. I found a kitten in my bushes trying to stay out of the rain, Her eyes were closed due to infection and her her breathing labored. We just paid on our property taxes so we were strapped but he helped her anyway as best he could . When we can afford to go back we will. Love this vet. My dog had to have emergency surgery about a week ago. Because of past experiences I was expecting to pay in access of 2k. Dr Francis performed the procedure for less than $700. He also took additional x-rays & board my baby boy over night without any additional fee. I'll be taking my dogs here for now on. Read Less
