General Info
Dundee Veterinary Clinic prides itself on being a caring and thorough practice in the local pet community. Dundee Veterinary Clinic creates an animal care environment that focuses on pet movement and adjustment, offering the Michigan family service through routine observation. Initial visits often begin in a low distraction area, allowing the pet to explore or settle. Staff members closely observe the animal’s tail and pawing actions as well as how they react to sound. During the physical examination, they look at things like how healthy the coat is, the pulse quality, hydration status, jaw symmetry and gait consistency as well as how your pet acts when people are nearby. Every detail is noted when working with animals that are not accustomed to handling or have had past traumatic experiences, or those that do not cooperate and are resistant. Dundee Veterinary Clinic offers diagnostic assistance, surgery setup, mobility monitoring, wellness examinations, breed-specific wellness predictions, and parasite prevention. The veterinary care plan proceeds to the next step based on responses to previous physical contact and routine adjustments as well as environmental stimuli within the clinic such as lighting, room changes, and noises. The method is especially helpful for families with pets wherein members show unwillingness to socialize and prefer repeating actions. Follow-up appointments are scheduled to fit both household routines and pet natural rhythms. Pet owners also gain detailed insight into the reasoning behind each step or decision. Dundee Veterinary Clinic provides the framework of care which lets each visit unfold in its rhythm and supports attention and understanding to what is going on. The practice provides various services such as Neurology, Prescription Medications, Dermatology, Oncology, and Hospice and Palliative Care. They assist pets at all stages of life, from the day-to-day health regimen to cases that require specialist attention. Pet owners commend the staff’s expertise, compassionate communication style, and the ability to clearly explain medical decisions. From urgent health situations to senior pet maintenance, the desire is to form lifelong bonds between pets and their owners through consistent and considerate support. It also plays a vital role in educating pet owners and implementing preventive strategies. Dundee Veterinary Clinic’s firm community orientation enriches the knowledge base of responsible pet ownership. Both the new and returning clients enthusiastically attest to receiving excellent service alongside their pets due to the hospital's dynamic nature in tandem with modern practice needs.

Been going there for 7 years. Called one day last week my dog had something caught in her throat. I was told they closed in 45min to go to emergency vet. That one statement told me they don't care about my dog. Even went up and talked to staff about it. You would think the Vet would have called.....but nothing. There have been issues before this. But I let it go. Not this time. Find a vet who truly cares about your pet. You and they deserve it. And this vet is NOT the one Read Less

I first went to this vet with my first shih-tzu . Did not like his bed side manner and just lack of compassion. The dog had to be put down. I got another shih tzu and thought I would give him another chance and try to ignore his personality. Long story short people he and his tech are discussing animals and just being rude about their owners within ear shot of other patients. I thought this was very un businesses like but tried to ignore it until they did it to me. My dog takes seizure medicine and thyroid and I asked for the meds to be sent to a pharmacy months ago. He didn't want to do the paper work. My dog had all the blood work and tests for the year so she could get her medicines. Since I told him I would never be back because of their actions he is refusing to send the scripts to the pharmacy. I would not recommend this clinic to care for any domesticated animals. Read Less

I take my westie to this vet and I am always so impressed. The staff are sweet, knowledgable, professional and polite. The vet is extraordinary; extremely knowledgable, and not willy nilly about making a diagnosis or handing over a prescription; he truly considers every non-med option and wants what is best for your dog; even if that doesn't mean a prescription. All staff are excellent with my dog and very helpful for me. I would highly recommend the Dundee Veterinary Clinic- TOP notch people. Read Less
