The doctor and staff are very friendly and helpful. My dog is a bit nippy and nervous and they handle him gently and confidently. House Calls is a small clinic which I love because my dog doesn't get overwhelmed when we visit. I highly recommend House Calls to anyone wanting a more personal and homey experience for their pets. We had to put our beautiful dog, Guido, down in August. He wasn't just a pet, but a family member. Dr. Stallings and her staff were wonderful. My youngest son did not want to come in, so sat in the car. Dr. Stallings gave us the option of going outside, under a beautiful tree, instead of a sterile room. Even though my son was in the car, he was able to be part of it. We were able to say goodbye, without being rushed, and my youngest also came to say goodbye after Guido had passed. One of the staff members came out and took the time to answer every question my son had, with compassion and honesty. I cannot recommend House Calls enough. Was not pleased with the fact they treated MY dog for fleas when I already treated him with the stuff that does NOT work last week. It's called vetra they are the ones that gave it to me. They went off and did a heart worm test that I did NOT authorized. I just wanted to get him fixed. I'm overly mad about this. I understand they wanted to treat my dog. But I am the owner of MY dog. If I didn't authorized it they shouldn't have done it behind my back and then made me pay for it. I will NOT be going back there. Word of advice don't do stuff to other peoples animals without asking. And then making them pay for it. Read Less

My dog, Raegan, decides she's going to start eating rocks 1/2" to 1.5" in size. She vomited a fistful up last week and again 2 nights ago. Call from daycare this morning said she was just laying around n didn't look good. I took her to our vet of 16 years who took an x-ray of Raegan's stomach finding a rock. He said I had 2 choices - surgery $919 or euthanasia - and left the room for me to think about it. I spent 2 seconds thinking, left the room and said I wanted to induce vomiting. He said it wouldn't work as rock too big but told me how "I" could do it! Paid the bill, spoke to my husband and went to House Calls Vet. Dr. Stalling agreed to induce vomiting. I left and 30 minutes later she called and said Raegan had just puked up the rock and I could come get her!!! We now have a new vet! I want to thank Dr. Stallings and Tina along with the rest of the House Calls staff for all their help with my cat, Sonkers. I have only taken him to the vet when it was absolutely necessary since he would freak out to the point of needing to be tranquilized for a simple office visit. When I found House Calls earlier this year, I knew I had found the perfect place for him. Monday I had to make the difficult choice to send my beloved kitty over the rainbow bridge. Dr. Stallings and Tina were so wonderful. I certainly don't envy that part of their job and I can't imagine that is ever easy for them either. I barely knew they had left after my baby passed away. The option to have Sonkers looked at in his home was invaluable to me and made the incredibly difficult decision to put him to sleep so much easier. If I would have had to take him into the office it would have made the moment so more traumatic than it already was for me. I cannot thank all of you enough for everything. Do not put your loved one in these peoples hands! I had a terrible experience and my cat was given back covered in feces and kitty litter. They extracted several teeth and gave her NO pain reliever. My poor baby was in so much pain, and the vet, whos name I forget is "pull happy" She loves to pull teeth and I am thinking it was utterly unnecessary to pull as many as she did. Please hear me out!
