I highly recommend The East Lansing Vet Clinic. They were very fast getting my cat, Capone, in for an evaluation. The staff quickly diagnosed the problem and began working on a plan of action. The entire staff were professional, friendly, and treated us as regular visitors, although we were there for the first time. The doctors and staff at the East Lansing Veterinary Clinic are amazing. They address each and every concern with the utmost attention and care. They never make me feel like I'm being a nuisance with silly requests for my pets, even though I have the biggest baby in the world. They were empathetic whenever we've lost our pets, and welcoming to our new ones. Their prices are fair and reasonable. Dr. Mortimer is a vet that treats our dogs like his own. He makes you feel comfortable and puts our best interest as well as our dogs best interest ahead of anything else. As a long-time dog rescue advocate and former dog-blogger with interest in dog-related diseases, I am very sensitive to how people and animals are treated, especially in health-related practices. The combination of intelligence, competence, diligence, compassion, genuine caring and professionalism at this clinic has earned more than my respect and gratitude. Drs. Yoder and Mortimer run their clinic in a way that has renewed my belief in Milton Hershey's credo, "Business is a matter of human service," or rather that it is still possible to do so in this day and age. ELVC helped us successfully nurse our Min-Pin back to health after three lung episodes in the last year.
