Took my 6yr old cocker spaniel to see Dr. Schurr after having terrible experience at vet in Holland. She knew right away it was not an allergy problem like vet in holland said, but a thyroid problem! I am thrilled to finally find a vet who knows what she is doing!! Very professional and caring. Will recommend her to everyone I know.

Our 85 lb husky/lab mix became sick and they fit us in the same day we called, performed all the necessary tests, and prescribed her medicine that made her feel better almost immediately! Friendly staff & clean facility. Thanks for taking great care of our fur baby!

Mac's landing does not practice or respect the confidentiality of its customer. Mac's landing openly shares your information and the information regarding treatment of your pets with unaffiliated organizations. Though they may not have to comply with HIPAA standards this is poor practice in my opinion. Very disappointing that they do not value confidentiality of their clients.

Took my 2yr old cat in to see Dr.Schurr today for the first time, after having horrable exsperiences with a vet in holland $800 in 3 weeks and no answers later. I am so glad I was referenced to your care! I called to make the appt they got him in the same day. No nonsense or over pricing very willing to help understanding very down to earth. I really can't thank you enough!!!! I was almost at the end of my rope trying to help my momo I will be returning for life with both of my pets.

I am so glad I was referenced to your care! I called to make the appt they got him in the same day. No nonsense or over pricing very willing to help understanding very down to earth. Yesterday my parents took their golden to Mac's Landing. This morning I spent time with them on the phone listening to how hard it was to come home without her. After doing surgery, where their dog would not wake up, they told my parents they needed to make a decision on what they were going to do with their dog. Not because of her health, but because they were closing in 10 minutes. When my parents asked if there would be someone there to watch her at night they were told there would be no one there. So if she died, she would die alone and my parents would be contacted in the morning. They were told they could not stay wither her. They were told they did not give transfusions. So at 10 minutes to 5 my parents loaded their unconscious dog into their car and drove her to a 24 hour vet in Grand Rapids. She died on that trip. How could you not tell people in advance that this was your policy? I'm not saying Cleo would have lived. I am not a vet. But this morning two people are wondering, if they had made a different decision, would they have been able to bring their baby home with them?

Yesterday my parents took their golden to Mac's Landing. This morning I spent time with them on the phone listening to how hard it was to come home without her. After doing surgery, where their dog would not wake up, they told my parents they needed to make a decision on what they were going to do with their dog. I want to say thank you to all at Mack's landing for the care and love you shared with Beaker 2, I have been to many vets in the past that seem to be afraid of him and if you were you never showed it, you only showed him love. Dr. Mahar expecaily you, thank you for your compassion, i was worried when Dr. Ray was gone but I believe the two of you loved and cared for our family as your own, thank you for coming to the house that day, I am forever grateful! I never thought Beaker and I could have ever gotten any closer but the last few months we grew even closer than ever before. It will take time but we are starting to heal. I didn't want to want to let him go, it was a hard decision, he would have stayed and suffered just to be with me, I know it was the right time though, I knew it in my heart. Now there are two new additions to our family not to replace Beaker but because we have enough love to share with others, I thank the Lord for Beaker because he taught me how to love more sacrificial instead for self. It was an honor to set up with him when he had bad nights, to nurse him. Beaker 2 and Beaker 1 and Spanky and Sissy will always be remembered with laughter of their wild personalities. But now our family has grown again, Teddy and Sammy! Thank you again!
