I took my dog in and explained to the Dr., I bought my dog from a crack house and neighborhood. I didnt have money to spend a fortune if he wasnt going to make it. I only had him 2 days. My dog wasnt eating, drinking, pooping or peeing. They told me he was 1 1/2 yr pup. After charging me $500!!!!. For unnecessary xray n labs, he told me my dog had a 25% of living! First he took xrays and dug my dog out with no pain shot!!!! My poor baby was screaming!! I returned a second day and he again dug out my dog, this time with a pain injection. He said he would give him fluids from 9-4. I called my friend and told her what he had done and she said lets go get him right away! That Dr is not good! He should have never never been dug out with or without pain meds! He needed fluids and this allowed him to potty normally!! I picked him up early at 3 and asked for the medical records and xrays to take to Dr Greear. I took him immeadiately to Dr. Greear at Woodhaven Animal Hospital!!! (Van Horn) She diagnosed him the minute we walked through the door with lepto. She didnt even have to look at his xrays or bloodwork, except to see he hadnt been checked for lepto. She said it was obvious to her it was lepto being he was from a crack house (Rats and Mice) and his liver numbers being so low! He was too young to have a bad liver. She put him in her Hospital for 2 days on fluids and He is doing fantastic!! She said in no way will he die with him now being on anti biotics, liver and kidney support pills!! Dr. Greear is calling Flatrock Clinic to inform them, my dog has lepto because it is highly contagious! I am contacting Care Credit and disputing my charges! Please DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS TO THIS VET!!! If I hadnt taken my dog to Dr. Greear, this Dr from Flatrock Clinic would have put my dog to sleep!! He would be dead now, Instead of running around and playing like he is now!!! If youre looking for an Angel of a Vet. Please go see Dr Greear! She goes the extra mile to save your animal! Took 4 sick kittens there that I found along a highway. Called an animal rescue group for asdistance. They said to take the here and they called ahead. Never saw a vet just a vet tech. She proceeded to start giving them vaccinations and worming medicine. I didn't object until they were foaming at the mouth and she started to get blood from the poor sickly skinny things inside thighs while they screamed in pain. I asked to have a vet come for assistance as I was by now crying seeing them being tortured as they were puking terribly. He came in and we started arguing as to why he would do all this to sick kittens instead of treating their vomiting and diarrhea first. He said I wasn't paying so why did I care. I left right when the animal rescue person came to get the kittens and she also was angry at me for upsetting the Dr who gives them a discount. Needless to say all the kittens died that night. I am traumatized by the greed of this place just caring about getting paid from anything they can do to animals instead of their well being. Everyone knows you don't give sick animals vaccines. Wonderful place to go. Doctor is great at what he does. Our baby boy Charlee was declawed and his little ones clipped. Our first cat we had same procedures done and she came home with bloody paws. I would recommend Flat Rock animal clinic to anyone I know for sure. Read Less

My cat was not feeling good, as we all know we can tell when our fur babies are not doing good,  I called the "best" animal clinic in Flat Rock and was told call back tomorrow we have nothing available if not tomorrow call back again to see if we have anything available.  My fur baby is sick now!!!!!!!!! I called Flat Rock animal clinic and was able to have him seen within a few hours without an "emergency fee" he was treated, given a shot and medication all within a half an hour.  No waiting 3 or 4 hours to be seen. I have read reviews that say the doctor give's prices for everything. Of course he does, he lets you make the decision on what you want to spend instead of giving you a 5 or 6 hundred bill that you can't pay. I would recommend this office to everyone looking to have great care at a great price. Read Less

Absolutely love this vet. I've taken my blue pit to them for years. All her shots were done here and even one of my cats. My dog had a rash around her chin/mouth and the doctor diagnosed her right the first time. I just rescued a stray cat and they're taking care of him for an amazing price. Prices are better than anywhere else and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Appointments are easy & convenient to make. Would highly recommend Flat Rock Animal Clinic!!Read Less

Decided that, with the multiple problems our beloved cat had, that we needed to have him cross the Rainbow Bridge. They took wonderful care of him and let my husband stay until Max was gone. My only issue is the price of the euthanasia.Read Less

I love the assistants, but the vet pushes for completely unnecessary procedures at a low, low price of a hundred bucks! If I said I didn't want something, that doesn't mean to leave the room and come back with pictures. That means I said no. My pet is healthy, stop forcing completely unnecessary surgeries on her. I'll never go back. What a waste of my hard earned money when there are better vets downriver. Read Less

Please DON'T take your animals here! Crooked doctor who has killed many animals in surgery and lied to loved ones about multiple situations. Not only that, manager tries to get you to buy everything with manipulation just for their profit. It costs more to be with your animal as it passes because the doctor will use more medicine, still sometimes not enough and that is horrifying to see. Please tell everyone you know not to take their pet there; it's dangerous, dirty, and should be shut down. The definition of a shady business, I know from personal experience unfortunately. They are the cheapest around for a reason, take that into consideration when thinking about your pet. Read Less

HORRIBLE VET, NEVER GO HERE!!! When my friends dog passed away and they "forgot" to get the clay paw print AND THEN gave her the wrong dogs ashes. When she confronted them, they just switched the bags and sent her on her way with a box that still didnt even have the correct name/information on it.
