PSA: DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE IF YOU WANT IT TO LIVE. Took my Benji here for a bent nail repair. "Dr." Singh cut it off and bandaged it. A couple days later, he bent the same nail sideways - because it was not properly repaired to begin with. I was told he needed a simple nail extraction. This was done and bandaged. But, Singh wrapped the bandage too tight, cut off circulation to his foot and it died. Now Benji's leg has to be amputated. I'm going to do my best to shutter this company and de-license this incompetent "doctor". Benji is my veteran emotional support dog, so this is even worse for me than it would be for someone else. I will be sending a complaint to the licensing board today and filing suit asap. I am currently interviewing attorneys to get justice for Benji. And Benji is fighting to live at MayFair Veterinary Hospital. His kidneys are not working to flush the toxins out of his body, and if they cannot get those working, he won't even be eligible for the amputation. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. RESPONSE TO THEIR REPLY: You are a flat-out LIAR. First of all - this idiot doctor is confusing the THREE SEPARATE VISITS. This explains his incompetence with providing follow-up instructions. The damage resulting in amputation to Benji's leg was the SECOND visit, which resulted in the bandage being applied too tightly by this incompetent doctor. There was nothing said about keeping Benji confined, or placing him in an e-collar, which I not only have, but have easy access to since it is stored on top of the bookshelf in the Den. There was no direction to bring him back in 2-3 days, otherwise an appointment would have been scheduled AT THAT TIME. The bandage, which there are numerous pictures of, was INTACT and not chewed on at all. There was no self-mutilation - and there are pictures and video to prove it. There were no toenails chewed on - the bandage was still in place before this idiot doctor cut it off. The only "emphatic" rhetoric out of the mouth of this self-righteous, indignant, jerk was that I was a bad owner because Benji hurt his toe while running in the yard. That is what dogs do! I was charged almost $1,000 total from this incompetent doctor for service that has resulted in amputation. Before I left, he told me to try the extra-strength anti-biotics because the only thing wrong with the foot was an infection which they would clear up. He said to come back on Monday (this was on Wednesday) if Benji was not still eating. I took Benji to a different vet on Thursday and that real-Doctor (and American) took one look at the mess this incompetent foreign-trained doctor made and told me that the hard part would be figuring out which tissue was dead and which was alive, but in any case it could not be saved because of the extensive damage done. There would be a non-functional stump - therefore the entire leg has to be removed at the mid-femor. Get your story straight, you quack - I'm coming after your license and your practice. And you'll be lucky if that's where I stop. And by the way - the only follow-up being offered was a CBC to check to see if there was anything going on with his organs. WHAT ABOUT THE FOOT THAT IS NOW DEAD AS A RESULT OF YOUR INCOMPETENCE. I promise you, you are going to pay for this: I will sue you into bankruptcy for what you have done. And whomever you are, Amrit - move on: The idiot quack-doctor who committed malpractice on Benji is Balwat Singh. A complaint has already been filed with the AAHA to remove your accreditation. I usually don't leave negative reviews, but for this vet I feel I should. I took my kitten to him because he's had severe diarrhea since I've had him, about 2 months now. When I called the office to schedule an appointment I was able to get in the very next day as requested. The receptionist explained the pricing and that the doctor would do an estimate after the exam and go over what treatments I wanted to go with so there wouldn't be surprise costs. The office was clean and smelled nice. I was early for my appointment and still waited 25 minutes after my scheduled time before the doctor even came into our room. I gave them a stool sample from my kitten and was asked if I wanted it checked for worms and parasites. I explained he was already dewormed and checked by another vet for worms and it was negative so I declined that test. After the doctor examined my kitten the vet tech came in with my "estimate" which was really just a bill asking if I wanted the medication for diarrhea. I was charged $15 for them to check for worms as well. I did say something about the charge and the doctor did take off the charge but as very defensive about it. He said my kitten was parasite free but still prescribed him a medicine for parasites with a common side effect of diarrhea. They have a sign in the exam room that says "please allow our staff to handle your pet during exam for your own safety" I completly understand and agree with this. When the vet tech came in to give my kitten his meds she asked me to hold him. My kitten flipped out and tried to bite the vet tech and ended up leaving a nice claw mark on my shoulder before hoping back into his carrier. This is probably why they should handle the pet not me. The meds made his diarrhea even worse and completely stressed him out because of the awful taste. There are other medications that would have suited my pet better. Either way I stopped the medication. He recommended that I put my kitten on a high fiber diet. I mentioned Nutri Source and he shook his head in disagreement. I asked if there was a food I could buy at a pet store and he said yes, reccomened a few brands like IAMS, science diet and natural choice. He said that I should go to Petsmart and warned me not to go to Magoos. Saying that Magoos is a bad store and they don't carry good foods and their staff doesn't care about animals. Well I work at Magoos and would completely disagree. We carry all the brands he recommend except science diet. The food he recommend for me was the IAMS healthy digestion which is 3% fiber. The food I originally suggested Nutri Source Ocean Select is 8% fiber and also the food I ended up buying. During the exam he seemed very shocked that I had already neutered my kitten and treated him with advantage plus for fleas. I'm guessing because I didn't want to spend money on needless tests that he was shocked I'd spend money at all on my pet. I understand that medicine is a practice and its not easy to pin point the issue all the time but this man couldn't even give me an explanation of why my kitten had the runs besides maybe he has 1 of these here 10 issues on this pamphlet. So basically I wasted my time and money and further damaged my kitten with the unnecessary meds. It is my opinion that this vet is quick to treat without proper examination or diagnosis. He was rude and slandered my employer for no justifiable reason. Needless to say I will not be back. Also I'd like to ad that when I stopped the meds and started my kitten on Nutri Source that I bought at Magoos on Center Rd. My kittens stool immediately started to improve. So before you consider this man for your pets medical care...I suggest going back to my old vet. They are a little further and expensive but worth it. They don't over charge you for useless treatments and they aren't rude. Grand Blanc Vet is where I will go to again. Not Eascor! Also come visit us at Magoos since my reccomendation worked much better than his. Read Less

came here hoping someone could help, do something to save my puppy but over a small amount of cash 52 dollars he let her suffer dying in the lobby, then took her in the back so other customers couldn't hear my father being upset while I was going to pick up the 52 dollars...I got back I showed you I had the money..but nope you did not care..Why are you listed as a ANIMAL HOSPITAL??? you are not listed as a clinic I came to your hospital for the very reason of it BEING A ANIMAL HOSPITAL!!! I'd change the name to clinic or do something because this place is not the place for any emergency situations. Highly advise going else where if you truly love your pet in a life or death situation. Also read alot of the other reviews and it seems even people that had money had issues getting help..greed sure is something isn't it? Id look into a different practice because saving animals is not for you. Maybe go work in a slaughter house since you show no sympathy towards other animals...and its weird you are a vet...a dr for animals? what a joke Read Less

I just moved to the Flint area from California, a neighbor recommended that I got to Eascor as she takes her pets there. I was extremely pleased with my past few visits at this place. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and Dr. Singh was extremely thorough in examining my puppy Tucker. I didn't know what to anticipate changing vets, but Eascor made us feel right at home. The doctor helped me chose a treatment plan that was right for my budget and he made sure I was comfortable before we moved forward. I appreciate them in understanding the concerns of being a loving owner with a budget. After many follow-up visits and Tucker now perfectly back to normal, I just had to write a review of why Eascor Animal Hospital is where you should take your pet. I write this to share a story of my cat and generosity and honesty of Dr. Singh and Eascor Staff. Our cat snuck out one day by accident and got seriously injured on one of her legs. We went to our own vet and X-rays revealed two fractures in the same leg. We were told that a special bone surgeon has to be called and do pinning/plating and can cost us over two Grands. We sought opinions from some other hospitals and answers were somewhat similar. We were told that an other option may be to consider putting her to sleep. One of my friends whose family goes to Eascor suggested me to get a opinion from there as well and see particularly Dr. Singh. He told me that they do bone surgeries themselves there and I won't be paying a specialist fees. I took my X-rays from the previous vet and showed those to Dr. Singh. Anyway, he repeated X-rays at no extra cost as they have digital machine with a much better quality. I told him about my layoff and tight financial situation. He told me that due to the nature of the fractures and financial issues, amputation will be the ideal way to go, and he did it at a very nominal cost. Not only that, he kept a check for half of the payment for two weeks as per my request. My cat is doing great on three legs and sutures were removed after two weeks. I have never seen a vet with such a big heart before. I will recommend this vet to anybody and everybody. Read Less

I just wanted to write this for the people who adopt new puppies or kittens. Upon recommendation from many of my family friends, I took my new puppy Theodore to Eascor Animal Hospital. Dr. Singh saw my puppy, and I just wanted to let everybody know that he is the most amazing vet that I have ever met. I have seen vets before with my parents, but nothing like this. He examined the puppy so thoroughly, told us about possible future problems, discussed at length feeding, obedience, and everything else that I have to ask. The visit has no office call charge, got very cheap vaccines and deworming, gave us a free dose of heart Guard and frontline plus. My puppy also needed grooming every so frequent and they have a professional groomer on hand who is so reasonable and good. During Christmas holidays, they also kept Theodore for boarding. At the end of boarding, my puppy was so much attached to the staff that he did not want to leave that place. This is a great place for any one; staff is so courteous and professional, you have to just visit there and find out for yourselves. Read Less

We wanted to write this as a gratitude to Eascor Animal Hospital and Dr. Singh in particular. Last week, we were traveling through Michigan and our dog became seriously sick. We called our vet and he recommended that we go to Eascor Animal Hospital. Our vet recommended simply because this hospital is one of the only few that is AAHA accredited similar to ours. Later on I came to find out that only 12-14% practices in the U.S. and Canada hold such high credentials. We wanted to thank Dr. Singh for taking the time to listen and explain things to us. We will copy our vet on this, and want him to know just how pleased we were with Dr. Singh’s services. He is an amazing vet with a huge heart.

We have always had a great experience at Eascor! We brought our puppy in for her vaccinations, and general care (nail trimming, check ups etc). The staff is friendly and helpful, the facility is clean and well-kept, and Dr. Singh is extremely knowledgable and experienced. He took the time to explain the vaccinations, and gave us advice about proper nutrition and training methods. In speaking with him, you can tell that he truly loves animals and wants to see you and your pet be safe, happy and healthy. I would highly recommend! Read Less

I would not advise using this vet clinic. We trusted this doctor with a beloved member of our family. They failed on so many levels. First visit yielded a potential solution for what ailed our cat. Our follow up visit didn't result in any follow up tests. Nothing more than suggesting we consider removing his teeth. When his condition worsened, we called again and even though their site says emergency services, we were simply told to call the Emergency clinic on Bristol. We did. We took him in. His blood pressure was so high, a stroke happened. This was NEVER even checked by Eascor. His eye, which was the original issue, had an eye pressure of 86...normal is 14-20. Blood pressure related. Please, don't take your fur babies to this clinic. Not only will you be nickel and dimed, you could lose your beloved companion. Read Less

If you love your pet and want affordable treatment this is the place to go. The doctors and staff are truly one of a kind! Read Less

He made us feel as if we were going to our own vet, who we are extremely happy with. We recommend this hospital to everyone. Read Less
