PSA: DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE IF YOU WANT IT TO LIVE. Took my Benji here for a bent nail repair. "Dr." Singh cut it off and bandaged it. A couple days later, he bent the same nail sideways - because it was not properly repaired to begin with. I was told he needed a simple nail extraction. This was done and bandaged. But, Singh wrapped the bandage too tight, cut off circulation to his foot and it died. Now Benji's leg has to be amputated. I'm going to do my best to shutter this company and de-license this incompetent "doctor". Benji is my veteran emotional support dog, so this is even worse for me than it would be for someone else. I will be sending a complaint to the licensing board today and filing suit asap. I am currently interviewing attorneys to get justice for Benji. And Benji is fighting to live at MayFair Veterinary Hospital. His kidneys are not working to flush the toxins out of his body, and if they cannot get those working, he won't even be eligible for the amputation. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE.
RESPONSE TO THEIR REPLY:
You are a flat-out LIAR. First of all - this idiot doctor is confusing the THREE SEPARATE VISITS. This explains his incompetence with providing follow-up instructions. The damage resulting in amputation to Benji's leg was the SECOND visit, which resulted in the bandage being applied too tightly by this incompetent doctor. There was nothing said about keeping Benji confined, or placing him in an e-collar, which I not only have, but have easy access to since it is stored on top of the bookshelf in the Den. There was no direction to bring him back in 2-3 days, otherwise an appointment would have been scheduled AT THAT TIME. The bandage, which there are numerous pictures of, was INTACT and not chewed on at all. There was no self-mutilation - and there are pictures and video to prove it. There were no toenails chewed on - the bandage was still in place before this idiot doctor cut it off. The only "emphatic" rhetoric out of the mouth of this self-righteous, indignant, jerk was that I was a bad owner because Benji hurt his toe while running in the yard. That is what dogs do! I was charged almost $1,000 total from this incompetent doctor for service that has resulted in amputation. Before I left, he told me to try the extra-strength anti-biotics because the only thing wrong with the foot was an infection which they would clear up. He said to come back on Monday (this was on Wednesday) if Benji was not still eating. I took Benji to a different vet on Thursday and that real-Doctor (and American) took one look at the mess this incompetent foreign-trained doctor made and told me that the hard part would be figuring out which tissue was dead and which was alive, but in any case it could not be saved because of the extensive damage done. There would be a non-functional stump - therefore the entire leg has to be removed at the mid-femor. Get your story straight, you quack - I'm coming after your license and your practice. And you'll be lucky if that's where I stop. And by the way - the only follow-up being offered was a CBC to check to see if there was anything going on with his organs. WHAT ABOUT THE FOOT THAT IS NOW DEAD AS A RESULT OF YOUR INCOMPETENCE. I promise you, you are going to pay for this: I will sue you into bankruptcy for what you have done. And whomever you are, Amrit - move on: The idiot quack-doctor who committed malpractice on Benji is Balwat Singh. A complaint has already been filed with the AAHA to remove your accreditation. LARA is next. By the way, readers and potential customers: The license for this facility expired in 2007.
