After taking my family member, my dog, there for years, I will never go back! My dog and I had an awesome relationship with staff until today. Maybe new staff (vets/techs) are to blame. When a Vet that has no relationship with the patient or owner tells me they won't even trim my dogs nails unless I inject my dog with poison that causes horrible reactions ( her regular vet said the poison does more harm than good for my family), I see that as a derralic of duty and laziness on the part of my family's medical staff! My cat is generally a jerk about being handled by anyone other than me. Dr. Gnagey and Dr. Howard must have some kind of cat whispering going on when he sees them because instead of being afraid he comes right up to them and starts asking to be pet. The prices are a bit high but I wouldn't trust his care to anyone else. They found a heart murmur that I never knew about because he'd been in and out of shelters so much. It was caught early enough that he needs to have a check up twice a year instead of once and talked to me for far longer than they had to because when I found out, I was destroyed because I had to give up my calico a few years previous. I couldn't afford to do the treatment she needed from being undiagnosed for so long with an unknown health issue.
