We now live an hour and 30 minutes away from Cross Vet Clinic. So, why do we still drive so far for vet care for our Bayleigh? Because we love and trust all the staff there. There are probably reputable vets much closer to us but when you've entrusted your beloved pets to the same great vet and staff for years, why go anywhere else? Used to like this vet. But after getting a new puppy they ripped me off. They offered there puppy package which saves ya $30 each visit they gave one excuse after another to straighten it up for the package price. After the 3rd visit they then say they cant do it, and then lied about it. To top it off they refused to give the discount, and like I said was all of $30. Its really sad that they are more interested in money then keeping a customer that's been going there for over 10 years. I will be telling everyone I know that goes here to find a new veterinarian. I have been to many vet clinics in the area and I have to say that Cross Clinic outshines them all. It is clean, friendly and has a wonderful staff. Dr. Fleming is not only a skilled surgeon, but is so friendly and caring with people and their pets. He takes his time to clearly answer all of my questions about my pets. I have been going to Cross Veterinary since 2004, I wouldn't take them any place else unless it were an after hour emergency. I completely trust Dr Fleming and his staff with my furry family members, they may be a little more expensive than some of the other places around but to me it is well worth it, they take very good care of my pets and even have someone that stays overnight at the clinic on surgery day so there is always someone there with the furbabies who have had surgery and I for one love that they offer this. I love this place. The nurses and doctor are very helpful and nice. I can always get my pet in the the day after or so when I call. My cat had a weird respiratory thing going on last week and it only cost $100 for her to get looked at, and be treated with an antibiotic. I always ask a lot of questions while I'm there and everyone is so helpful and never makes me feel like I'm annoying them. Couldn't ask for a better place to take my pet. Dr.Fleming and his staff are fantastic! He helped me through a difficult diagnosis with my aging pooch Apollo as well as making an informed decision regarding his end of life. Now that I have my 9 month old Boxer, Phoebe, he has been fabulous with her care. He truly enjoys seeing her and even spends the extra few minutes at the end of our appointments to play with her before we leave. When I had her in to be spayed, they took excellent care of her. I've never had a pet love going to the vet as much as Phoebe does. Dr. Fleming and his entire staff's love for animals shines through from the minute you walk in the door. From the person that greets you at the front desk, to the vet assistants, and the wonderful doctor this place is the best. They were always so patient with our dog who was a big stinker at the vet. Dr. Fleming truly cares about the animals he treats. He has treated 4 of my dogs in the past years. His staff is just as caring and compassionate. Dr. Fleming explains what treatment he feels would be best for the animal and why. The animals seem to be very at ease around him as well. Read Less

Went here when my dog was acting funny and couldnt walk right. I called and they got me in 20 minutes later. They did warn me I might have to wait a little because they did have people already scheduled at the same time. I totally understood. It was not much of a wait at all (10 minutes). The staff was caring and the doctor spent a lot of time with my pet checking him and explaining everything he as doing. I have a medical background and never say that because I want to make sure they are doing things correctly. Every one was professional and caring. Im not sure what happened with the other reviewer but my expereince was totally different and I am so glad I went there! They have made a patient for life with all my fur babies because of the treatment we got yesterday.Prices are normal from what I have expereinced in the past. I did hear someone get a quote for spaying that seemed really high but I do not know the pets health, age or case so maybe it was normal for that pets health. (It is hard to say without knowing all the facts.) Read Less

The only place in 3 counties that I trust to see our exotic fur-kids (chinchillas, degus). Always very honest with me, so I know exactly what to expect if one of the critters are ill. Also gives us a great package deal for annual check-ups, since we have 26 chinchillas currently :) Read Less

My dog was suffering from concussion and heat stroke and they were damn near about to just let him die in their lobby. Nurses were very rude about it too.Awful awful awful awful awful awful. I had to just say feck it and rush to another vet that was thankfully able to save my poor puppy. Read Less

Prices are high compared to other vets in the area.  Took my dog in for a tooth extraction, I rec'd a call from the office during the surgery telling me that my dog was urinating blood and that she would need some tests done.  I asked if this could be due to the tooth extraction and her swallowing blood.  I was told no.  I told them not to do the additional testing, since it was quite pricey and I was already paying a significant amount for the surgery.  I picked her up that afternoon and she was groggy and kind of out of it from being put under and urinated on the floor-  no blood or discoloration present.  No sign of any problem in the days after.  Lost confidence after that.  Soon after was referred to Dr Heaton @ Genesee Vet Clinic, also on Hill Road, I was surprised at the much lower prices for vaccines, stool tests, and medication.  I feel like you're paying for the cushy office at Cross, not for better service.
