If it were possible to leave zero stars, I would. Took our English Bulldog here because our vet -who apologized profusely afterward saying she didn't know what kind of a place it was until after she heard what horrible experiences we - and another client she sent there not knowing - had had. My vet was crying when she saw what they'd done to our dog and when I told her about our experience. She told me on our next visit that she'd called and had quite a talk with the office manager at Bluepearl and would NEVER send another client there. We had taken our dog there for an eye surgery because he had a condition Bulldogs get that their eyelids grow in such a way their lashes are scraping the eye. (Not cherry eye, another typical condition.) Vet did the surgery and left our dog's eye that she operated on with a large, open gap underneath his eye - they lower lid was hanging down way too far! When we picked him up, the vet tech said it would heal up. I doubted it, but gave it a couple of weeks. Nothing changed. Took our dog back there to show them the obvious horrible job that had been done in their clinic - and mind you, this is after a $1,000+ vet bill for the operation - and the vet tech came running into the exam room with a camera, announcing, "They told me to take lots of pictures!" Uh-huh...sounded to me like they were preparing to be taken to court... A vet - not the one who operated on our dog - came in. She looked at his eye with the lower lid gaping open and said, "Well, actually, this is better, because if he ever gets anything in his eye, it will wash out easier with the eye open like that." ("Quack, quack, quack..."). We got the heck out of there, and took our dog to a specialist quite far away. Paid another $1200-1300 to get his eye corrected surgically to repair the mess Bluepearl's vet had made of it. Vet came out to talk to me after the surgery and he said he hadn't expected the surgery to take so long, but because he had so much work to do to correct the Bluepearl's vet's "work" it took him a while longer. I said I wasn't surprised after the first surgery had been so badly botched. He said he didn't like to say anything about other vets/clinics, but said "botched" was definitely the right word and that he had never seen so much scar tissue and such a poorly done procedure in one of these cases. NO WAY WOULD I EVER, EVER TAKE ANY PET TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!! Read Less
