After being a patient here for 5 years my now elderly dog needs pain management. The office manager was very rude and condescending. After telling her I'm disabled and don't get paid for 7 more days she yelled at me and said not to give him anymore buffered aspirin but give Tylenol and if I can't afford to buy it then give him nothing. He's my service dog and can barely move a lot of days! I just said thank you for your "help" and 8 days later I got a letter of dismissal from the practice!! I had been very pleasant with this idiot until the end when I said "help". I can't get through to the owner as she goes thru his mail. Now my senior boy has to start somewhere new! Outrageous!!! I can not thank Dr. Thompson enough for everything that he has done for my family and my dog! Cinnamon has had three knee surgeries and a very aggressive mast cell tumor removed. Dr. Thompson and his staff have provided EXCELLENT service through it all. Where do we begin? We cant find words for what Clyde Park Veterinary has done for our family. Our 2 year old boxer became suddenly ill a few weeks ago when we had suspicion that she had possibly ate something that she should not have. Her case quickly became more complicated than we ever anticipated it would be and we found ourselves wondering if we were facing our last day with her. When we could not afford to move our girl to the emergency clinic, Clyde Park was able to provide her exceptional hospital care. Dr. Thompson cleared his schedule that day to perform the surgery that needed to be done to determine what was causing our dog to be so sick and to come up with a plan of care. When Hadleys surgery did not reveal what we anticipated but rather left us with more questions and a very sick dog, Dr. Walker was able to compassionately talk us through what was going on. Hadley was hospitalized for 3 days following her surgery. Dr. Walker and Sonja were with us every single day, keeping us informed and helping us process everything that was happening to our young dog. They allowed for us to spend entire days with our dog in their facility as we prayed she would make progress under their care. Dr. Walker demonstrates exceptional work ethic and drive to provide the best care possible. I would receive texts at 7:30 in the morning from her before I could get to the clinic to see my dog and calls at 9:00 at night to let me know how she was doing before she was left alone for the night. She was persistent in following up with test results in order to keep us as informed as possible. We cannot thank her enough for what she does. Sonja was also such a huge blessing to us. We knew that in the few hours that we could not be with our dog, that Sonja would be there talking to her and loving on her. Sonja has an incredible heart and you can tell she really loves what she does. We are so grateful for the comfort and encouragement she offered us in a time that we were experiencing tremendous fear and pain. She is amazing! As we sat in the dog run with our dog for those 3 days, we couldnt help but develop a significant appreciation for the work that Dr. Walker and Sonja do. They work so hard for many hours and still take the time to show genuine love and compassion toward the animals they work with. We consider ourselves so lucky to have been on the receiving end of their talents, drive, compassion, love and kindness. I hope that these two women know how deeply we appreciate them and how we will NEVER forget what they did to work toward saving our girl. We are so happy to have our happy dog still with us and simply cannot imagine the alternative had we not have had Clyde Park in our corner during her illness. Thank you sincerely for all that you did for us and all that you do every single day for everyone else. You have become such a special part of our family.Read Less

I started bringing all 3 of my dogs here I have had excellent care and service I recently lost my pitbull Chevy and they were gracious enough to give me time alone with him in a room as well as following up with a sympathy card I would recommend this facility and its veterinarians to anyone Read Less

We are parents to two adult cats, both of whom are rescues.  We love our kitties, spoil them rotten and would do anything to make sure that the finest care is available to them.  About a year ago, we changed vets from a cat only specialty practice to Dr Jen at CP Vet Clinic.  We made this move based on recommendations from several friends who had told us about the excellent care that their pets receive at a significantly lower fee structure.  We have been nothing but pleased!  The office is further away from our home but is well worth the effort.  Our kitties are cared for in a loving manner by an excellent vet who is very sharp clinically.  The office isn't as "fancy" but is clean and well organized.  If you're looking for value with top notch care by vets who love what they do, this is the place for your fur babies. Dr. Jen and her staff are the most outstanding people in their field!  We adopted two cats, Benjamin & Timothy, who are brothers, from Crash's Landing, which Dr. Jen started. Our dear cat, Benjamin, became very ill recently and Dr. Jen did everything she could for him. Unfortunately, Benjamin passed away, but Dr. Jen took incredible care of not only our cat, but also of my husband and I.  I would not dream of ever going to anyone else with my pets! Read Less

I just called to set up an appointment for my pug, Samson, and got Jane. She was very polite on the phone and very helpful. My appointment is for next Monday at 2:45 in the afternoon. I am not used to making appointment for the vets, but at least I got an appointment within a reasonable amount of time. So far, so good. I will update after our visit! Read Less

Our family consists of 3 people, 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a lizard. Needless to say, the people are outnumbered. I met Dr. Jen years back while adopting our first cat from her awesome rescue, Crash's Landing. I recently decided to switch all of our furry kids over to her. She is very knowledgeable and understanding, I love their hours and I know that Clyde Park Veterinary Clinic does a lot to help abused, neglected and homeless cats via Dr. Jen. I happily give them my business as a gesture of thanks. Without Dr. Jen, and Clyde Park, there would be no Crash's Landing. Clyde Park's prices are great, staff is friendly, but Dr. Jen is my main reason for going there. I trust her 100%. I would highly recommend Clyde Park to anyone! Read Less

I start by saying that I love Dr. Petrovich, she is a good-hearted vet who knows a lot about the nature of animals.  My very skittish kitty gave her a lick on the nose!  Dr. P heads up Crash's Landing a cat rescue that also houses cats with Feline Leukemia. I love her, but I have had to switch to another vet and here is why:My problem with this officet is almost solely with the support staff and vet techs.  They often forget who you are or who your animal is and can be very impersonal-which is NOT what you want when you are concerned about an animal that is ill or having surgery.  A few years ago my dog broke a glass door and cut open both front wrists.  My husband had to sleep with him on the floor so that he wouldn't jump up and re-open his cuts.  After carrying our 90 lb. boxer into the Vet's office on a monday morning to get stitched up a very annoyed vet tech proceeded to put him on the ground and walk him back on a leash!  She wouldn't even let my husband carry our terrified dog back .  This same tech also harassed us for several months to get our cat up-to-date on his shots even though a month earlier he had to be put down after a a terminal cancer diagnosis.  Very unfriendly to say the least!  The office has so many patients it can feel like you are being rushed in and out the door without much consideration.All in all I won't be going back although Dr. P is so good and the prices are reasonable.
