Dr. Thellman and his wonderful staff has helped us so much since we began seeing them a year and a half ago. First, they treated our puppy Watson EVERY DAY for weeks to help close a wound on his paw....
Dr. Thellman and his wonderful staff has helped us so much since we began seeing them a year and a half ago. First, they treated our puppy Watson EVERY DAY for weeks to help close a wound on his paw. Next, Dr. Thellman was able to diagnose our cat's illness after months of not being able to figure out what was going on. And today, our cat Pede is staying with Dr. Thellman and being treated for renal failure...on Thanksgiving!! Great Dr., great staff...highly recommended!

Dr. Thellman is the best. My little guy has seizures, and after a particularly bad weekend Paddington and I showed up at the office door at 7:30 am one morning with very little notice, and he welcomed us with open arms and worked him into his schedule. Absolutely the best!

I just learned about Modern Health Veterinary Hospital on the north east side of Grand Rapids a few months ago. I took my cat in to be micro-chipped. Great location, clean office, and really friendly staff. Dr. Shane was very helpful and answered all my questions. Great place to take your pets.

Dr. Thellman was on the phone with us twice for not less than 15 minutes each time, and when we brought our pet there for examination, he took plenty of time with us to listen to us, to thoroughly examine our pet, and to offer knowledge on proper care. And this was for our Mississippi Map turtle. Glad we found Modern Health Veterinary Hospital!

Dr. Thellman has been great with our dog. You can tell that everyone that works there loves animals and loves what they do. He is very knowledgeable and has a great rapport with our dog. He will describe everything to you in terms you understand and he will take extra time with you if you have questions. I would definitely recommend MHVH to anyone I know.
