Five years ago, Kitty's Doctor told us that if we did not have a surgery that would cost thousands of dollars, our cat would need to be put to sleep. We decided to get a second opinion at a vet clinic a half hour away; they were able to diagnose the problem and remedy it for a few hundred dollars. Now, this same cat has cancer, is going to the bathroom all over the house, and is losing hair at an alarming rate. We have tried for 6 weeks to find a remedy, visiting our vet four different times in that span (that's a lot of driving).  In order to save from an hour round trip commute to have our cat put to sleep, we decided to use Kitty's Doctor, right down the street. Even though they wanted to put him to sleep five years ago (erroneously, at that), they won't do it today because they don't believe the diagnosis of the other vet. We offered to have them conduct an exam and make a decision for themselves, but they said it would take multiple exams and follow ups before they would make that decision. Our cat is suffering. This was not an easy decision. This is a place that wants your money, first and foremost. From our experience, they don't seem to care about your cat. Or you. There are better options, even if they are a bit farther away. Read Less

They refused to see my cat without her medical record. I scheduled an appointment on a Monday for Wednesday right away in the morning, and worked a 12 hours shift in between and could not get the record before early morning appointment. This is a horrible policy and of ethical concern for suffering animals. My cat has eye problems, and isn't suffering, but they don't know she wasn't suffering. I can see WANTING medical records, but refusing to see a patient without them is terrible. If a doctor did that to a human . . . Read Less
