Took my dad on vacation July 5-10 and we boarded chica here. (Dads chihuahua). She also attended doggie daycare on days available. The staff was excellent! They constantly gave me up dates and pictures to help dad relax while he was away. They went out of their way to make sure he knew she was safe and taken care of! Would definitely use them again. They defiantly love animals and did a fantastic job. She must have enjoyed herself because he said she wasn't as excited to see him as he thought she would be. We started taking our puppy here in August 2015 for all of his shots, checkups, and recently had him neutered. The staff and Dr. have been phenomenal with us!! I scheduled my two dogs to be boarded there because I am traveling to Colorado for my sisters wedding. There was a misunderstanding about what time the dogs needed to be dropped off. I called letting the receptionist know we were running late due to having jobs and unfortunately stuck In traffic. The receptionist told me 45 min before they close that they would no longer be accepting my dogs because they needed to be there by 5 pm. I begged and begged her to please accept my dogs because they close at 6 pm and my flight leaves at 6:30 am the next morning and they do not open until 8 AM. The lady was very rude to me and said "absolutely not" thank you roadside veterinary clinic for denying my dogs and causing me to be unable to attend my sisters wedding (I am the maid of honor) and you lost $375 of my business. We take our 2 Yorkies here and have been for coming here for over 2 yrs.  Dr Pajak and staff are so great with our animals that the dogs actually like coming here!!  We have their grooming done here as well and use them for boarding.  We know our dogs get amazing care and can't say enough about how well not only our pets are treated but how they treat us as well!!  Highly recommend!! This has been my vet for six years.  I love that you can view your pets health information online.  It is very handy when you need to prove they are vaccinated.  They mail nice reminders via email and snail mail.  They also now take your pups pic each time they visit.  If you take your dog somewhere else like a low cost clinic they will update your pets record.  They do a great job with the dogs' nails and anal glands.  Each time they get groomed they get a free bandanna.  Once only one of my pups visited and they gave me an extra bandanna so the other dog would not be jealous.  My dogs are only six and nine pounds and they have had their teeth cleaned here with extractions and it went just fine...it is nerve racking having to put your dog under when they are so small.  It is expensive though!  Cleanings start at 200 and extractions run about 100 a piece.  Then there are fees for testing and blood work too.  They will use a drummel on your dogs nails when they are under during teeth cleaning....They do offer pet health programs for 50 dollars a month and you get unlimited visits.  I have used the twice for boarding and I paid extra for play time and tlc.  Both times the boys came back clean and safe and sound.  My only gripe is this very expensive for boarding and general vet care. It was just a regular check up but he had put on a little weight so the vet went over everything that I could do to help him lose the couple pounds that he gained. They get 2 stars because it may not have been intentional.  The people were always nice and seemed knowledgeable, and the facility is nice.HOWEVER,  I lived in Milford for a few years and paid regular visits to Roadside with my 11yo Lab/Collie mix.  Ear infections were a constant battle and my dog was more often than not lethargic and uncomfortable.  They put her on arthritis meds based on symptoms described and a check up, and that helped... but they also had blood work done at cost of $80+ to check for hypothyroidism  or an issue with her thyroid.  I was told the results were not clearly indicative of a thyroid issue so they'd have to do more test etc may have just been age yada yada...I move away - take our dog to the vet near our new place, and 1.  They change the way were instructed to treat the ear-infection.  One that made a lot more sense (how we applied the wash and solution + plus oral anti-biotics)... slightly different way to treat the same issue.  Problem gone in 2 weeks.  Then after receiving the records from Roadside - based on nothing other than the results of the bloodwork already done at roadside - our dog was given Thyroid medicine.  After a couple weeks we re-tested her while on the medication and boosted her dose (btw the bloodwork they did here was forty some dollars with meds not eighty some dollars + meds).In the end the difference in treatments and pet care took at least 3 years off my dog, we no longer battle with constant infections in the ears, and she occasionally plays with her younger K9 housemate.  The old pup is certainly glad we moved.I don't know that the kind people at Roadside maliciously held back treatments (it would be to get more $$ from testing).  I kind of lean toward it just being a difference in opinion on proper treatment - but my dog benefited a great deal from going elsewhere, and as she is healthy now, so has my pocketbook.
