Welcome to Kingdom Animal Hospital. (Formerly Schmidt Veterinary Clinic).
Since its foundation in 1950 by Dr. Lawrence Schmidt and his wife, Eloise, our practice has grown from basic veterinary care to a full service clinic for household pets, including exotic animals.
We offer extensive on site diagnostics, including ultrasound, radiology, bacterial culture, cytology, and blood work. We also perform wellness exams and care for chronic illnesses, incorporating medication, surgery, and nutrition and lifestyle changes. Our pharmacy can compound and supply treatments at cost effective rates.
We approach your pet's care as if they were our own, to give you a happier, healthier companion!
In addition to pet health care, we also offer grooming and boarding services, where you can leave your pet in good hands.

My wife brought my dog there on recommendation of our groomer. We are new to this so we did not realize all the upkeep our dog required in order to not have mats.
We were not told of the excess fees...

We were not told of the excess fees that we would see post apt due to a mistake and they were willing to work with us on price. Good people! Would recommend!

Dr. Kendra Wolk and her team are as good as it gets. They have a heart for both people and their pets. Recently it was discovered by Dr. Wolk that our dog had early stages of a mast cell tumor. Dr. Wolk had our dog in surgery within one week and we are happy to say he is doing great! We have complete trust in the care he has received at Kingdom Animal Hospital and will continue to share with others about our great experiences time and time again!

With 5 animals in the house it didn't take long for our flea problem to get out of control this summer. I am so grateful to Kingdom Animal Hospital for their outstanding service. They boarded and treated our pets so we could have the house sprayed for fleas, they recommended Vectra which is by far the most amazing product we've ever used for flea treatment and prevention, and they've been available to answer any and all of our questions. Thank you so much for all you do!

Two years ago I adopted a set of cats, mother and son, and every one of their surgeries (performed here) has gone wrong. The most irritating example being that my spayed female cat still experiences her estrus cycle. Definitely not the quality care my past animals had received from Dr. Schmidt.

The clinc has been exceptional in there dedication to both service and just personal concern about there clients. I wouldnt dream of letting another vet touch our dogs. Service has been efficant, priced great, and i would recommend The Schmidt Vet Clinic to anyone.

I moved to the Holland area 15 years ago and began searching for a Holland veterinarian for my dogs and cats. I visited several area clinics and finally decided on Dr. Schmidt and the Schmidt Vet Clinic. The care and compassion Dr. Schmidt has provided over the years to me and my "critter kids" has been fantastic. Dr. Schmidt and his staff have always made me feel like a special member of their family. I am so glad I made the decision to have Dr. Schmidt take care of my pets!
