4/3/18 I called to get a rough quote for an exam and dental. I have my dogs teeth cleaned every two years. I've never had to pay more that $250 and wanted to make sure I stayed within my budget. Whoever answered the phone was clearly frustrated that I wanted a rough quote. She had a tone that was obvious she was annoyed. After getting no quote she said an emergency walked in. She told me I would have to call back and then hung up. I was kind of stunned at the lack of professionalism for a receptionist. I work in customer service myself and would have handled the situation differently.

After adopting my cat, I chose to see this clinic because some family members absolutely swear by it. I however, did not feel that way and was blatantly treated in a blase manner of which I have never seen toward any of my family members when I accompanied them. I'm sure that everyone that works there are probably great people and competent at what they do. However, I believe I may start looking into finding a new veterinarian.

We have been taking all three of our dogs to Chicago Drive Vet for at least 5 years. We have always received excellent advice and customer service. We had to say so long to our black lab of 11 years earlier this week and the entire staff was caring and understanding. We would recommend Chicago Drive Vet without hesitation.

I'm writing for my parents who had a terrible experience when trying to pick up there dog from being boarded for the weekend. They were supposed to pick her up Sunday between a specific time and no one showed up for them to get their dog. They are now concerned that no one has been there all day to feed or give water to their dog, Maddie. No one can seem to find anyone to contact so that they can get their dog. Very disappointed and worried. Wouldn't recommend that type of care to anyone.

So this will be long but bear with me (business owners, I'm talking to you). Bottom line up front: Your failure to price match in one instance has lost you business over the long term. We have moved a lot in our pet ownership years, and had several vets over time for our dogs and cats. Some vets are super great and friendly, others care only about the bottom line. We had brought our dogs to your clinic previously for routine check ups and vaccines. We signed up for your vaccines for life program, so now we're kind of locked in. This was our last month of preventative medicine, so I called to see what your prices were on Revolution. For two dogs for a years supply, it was $120 more than a popular online pet medicine site. I asked if you price match, you said no. Our old vet would price match the online retailer (I like that online retailers force business to be competitive, it's good for the consumer). Strike 1. Then the person on the phone tried to scare me into not using Revolution because "it only protects against one type of tick". She couldn't tell me whether that one type of tick transmits Lyme, or if they all do. She wanted to sell me other kinds of medicine, which were more expensive than Revolution. The CDC answered that only that one type (Deer Tick), which Revolution protects against, transmits Lyme. Strike 2 for scare tactics. PS, we moved here from the north east, where you can't walk to your car without seeing a tick. Then, she said that as a policy they do not deal with online retailers because they "don't want to represent me". Strike 3 for trying to make it harder for families to save some money by using online retailers. We hadn't signed our cat up for the lifetime vaccine program, and now we're not going to, and for anything outside of routine vaccines covered under the yearly club deal, we're going to take our business elsewhere. Instead of having a good relationship with online retailers and your customers, you are trying to protect your bottom line - which, in the long run, will hurt your bottom line because people like us don't appreciate being exploited. You may not feel the hurt now, or next year, but your business plan is not viable for the long term. You've been warned!

Everyone here is a genuine animal lover & it shows! From the Doc lifting my dog off the exam table because he was bothered by the sound, to a follow up phone call everytime my pups have a visit that is outside a normal checkup, to a vet tech kissing my dog during an exam, you will never find a more genuine loving group! The caring nature and knowledge of the doctor has never disappointed. I heard about the office from a friend and have other friends that now bring their animals as well. They are simply the best!

Had a wonderful experience. Called in as a new patient and they got my pup in quickly. The tech in our room along with all the staff I came into contact with was very nice. The doctor we saw was wonderful. She took alot of time with us and answered all my questions. I also enrolled in the vaccinations for life program and as of now as a new patient it seems like a great deal.

Just had an appointment rescheduled because the Vet would not be available. This in it's self is no problem. The problem is the rescheduled appointment is past a year and we were told we would have to re-enroll in the vaccine for life program. No exceptions. We have boarded our dog for years here and now we will go elsewhere. This is unacceptable.

Dr. Coll is extremely skilled and knowledgeable; the staff was friendly, helpful and empathetic. I transferred from a different clinic, under stressful circumstances, and could not have had a better experience. My dog is almost 100% healed from a large open wound that had already been twice sutured. After that second time, I was told her wound could not be stitched shut. Dr. Coll did such an amazing job, the difference in technique was night and day. I can't thank you enough! I'm recommending Chicago Drive Veterinary to all my family and friends.

Dr. Coll is extremely skilled and knowledgeable; the staff was friendly, helpful and empathetic. I transferred from a different clinic, under stressful circumstances, and could not have had a better experience. Then the person on the phone tried to scare me into not using Revolution because "it only protects against one type of tick". She couldn't tell me whether that one type of tick transmits Lyme, or if they all do. She wanted to sell me other kinds of medicine, which were more expensive than Revolution. The CDC answered that only that one type (Deer Tick), which Revolution protects against, transmits Lyme. Strike 2 for scare tactics. PS, we moved here from the north east, where you can't walk to your car without seeing a tick. Then, she said that as a policy they do not deal with online retailers because they "don't want to represent me". Strike 3 for trying to make it harder for families to save some money by using online retailers. We hadn't signed our cat up for the lifetime vaccine program, and now we're not going to, and for anything outside of routine vaccines covered under the yearly club deal, we're going to take our business elsewhere. Instead of having a good relationship with online retailers and your customers, you are trying to protect your bottom line - which, in the long run, will hurt your bottom line because people like us don't appreciate being exploited. You may not feel the hurt now, or next year, but your business plan is not viable for the long term. You've been warned!

Everyone here is a genuine animal lover & it shows! From the Doc lifting my dog off the exam table because he was bothered by the sound, to a follow up phone call everytime my pups have a visit that is outside a normal checkup, to a vet tech kissing my dog during an exam, you will never find a more genuine loving group! The caring nature and knowledge of the doctor has never disappointed. I heard about the office from a friend and have other friends that now bring their animals as well. They are simply the best!

Had a wonderful experience. Called in as a new patient and they got my pup in quickly. The tech in our room along with all the staff I came into contact with was very nice. The doctor we saw was wonderful. She took alot of time with us and answered all my questions. I also enrolled in the vaccinations for life program and as of now as a new patient it seems like a great deal.

I felt the doctor was practically a robot and gave me no hope for the health of my dog unless I dropped $500 on the spot for multiple tests that were not even necessary after all

Just had an appointment rescheduled because the Vet would not be available. This in it's self is no problem. The problem is the rescheduled appointment is past a year and we were told we would have to re-enroll in the vaccine for life program. No exceptions. We have boarded our dog for years here and now we will go elsewhere. This is unacceptable.

My dog was diagnosed with cancer and now a year later after she has been on meds and I thought she was dying now come to find out she doesn't have cancer. The staff was great but the mis diagnosis had caused a lot of UN needed stress as well as UN needed money Alrght and meds my dog didn't need at all that could of put her into long term side affects.

Dr. Coll is extremely skilled and knowledgeable; the staff was friendly, helpful and empathetic. I transferred from a different clinic, under stressful circumstances, and could not have had a better experience. My dog is almost 100% healed from a large open wound that had already been twice sutured. After that second time, I was told her wound could not be stitched shut. Dr. Coll did such an amazing job, the difference in technique was night and day. I can't thank you enough! I'm recommending Chicago Drive Veterinary to all my family and friends.

I transferred from a different clinic, under stressful circumstances, and could not have had a better experience. Incredibly patient, helpful over the phone, and friendly all around. Dr. Coll is attentive, engaging, and knowledgable.
