I came here with foster dogs through a local rescue, and they were beyond helpful! I can not say enough positive things about the staff and the vet I met with! My schedule was rather challenging, and they still managed to fit me in, even knowing that I wouldn't be paying top $ since I'm with a rescue. I actually brought them a treat to show my appreciation, and that is something I have never done to a business before, ever! That's how awesome they were! Best place to take pets. Gone there for several years and the staff has always been exceptional to us and out pets. Recently had to put our dog down and they were so compassionate and caring. We drive about 40 minutes one way to come to this vet. They don't over treat, or treat pets with medication for no reason. We tried finding a good vet closer to home but we didn't find any that we felt comfortable with. Read Less

We haven't been customers long, but made the switch when our cat became ill and our regular vet couldn't see him. We then took our beloved dog, Bear to be put to sleep last Wednesday. He is missed every minute, but the compassion showed by Dr. Hudson, Jill and the girls in the front, will be forever remembered. My schnoodle Dickens was a patient for 14 of his 17 years and always received excellent care at the Laingsburg Animal Hospital. His age caught up to him and his health began to fail at the beginning of 2016. A week ago, my husband and I made the difficult decision to end Dickens' life to spare him any additional suffering. I was homebound after surgery and that presented a problem. We both wanted to be with Dickens when he died. Dr. Shinsky and Jill came to our house and performed the procedure there. Dickens died peacefully and painlessly in my arms, in his own home. Dr. Shinsky and Jill could see how heartbroken we were at losing Dickens. They were very sympathetic and compassionate. Afterward, we received a lovely, thoughtful sympathy card with individual notes of condolence written and signed by Dr. Shinsky and his staff. They are the best--a class act. I love the Laingsburg animal hospital and their veterinary staff. They are all wonderful. They have saved my dog from cancer twice. They have giving me medical advice without seeing my dog because I didn't have the money to have her seen so I was able to fix it at home. I would rather give my money them then anyone else. Would like to take a minute and say thank you. We had to have our Collie ( Laddie ) put down on Wednesday. He suddenly could not walk or stand. Your staff was amazing. Very compassionate to our needs and allowing us to stay with him as long as we needed to after he went to sleep. This was a very hard decision for us as we got him 10 years ago as a puppy. He was the best dog we have ever had. Im glad we started coming here bringing our foster dogs for New Hope Pet Rescue. We are slowly getting our own dogs transfered over to your care. I was only able to go here twice because of my dog's failing health.  I knew that my dogs health was poor and that she had many potential issues.  Having two new children in the house we were about 3 years behind on check ups and shots. Taking my dog in there I was never once made feel guilty about being behind.  When it came to exam time Dr. Hudson was very patient. She was honest and kind giving me my options. Based on my dogs age and what medical difficulties she would be facing I made the heartbreaking decision to put my best friend to sleep.  The Dr. was so understanding when it came time and made one of the hardest decisions I have ever made a bit easier.  I absolutely recommend this animal hospital to anyone. Having an 11 year old dog I have seen many different vets over the years and have never had such amazing and kind service.  If we can bring ourselves to ever get another pet I will be taking them there.  There whole staff was amazing!
