I have had nothing but absolutely outstanding service here! I could recommend a better veterinary place to take your pet on a regular basis. There had been countless times that Brinker has had to check my cat out for her many problems, they were always so supportive and helpful. Between the honest love they showed her from the very beginning and the truthful honest answers to questions I feel completely comfortable with them. My car has been going to Brinker since we got her 4 years ago. When she had a litter of 4 kittens we adviced everyone who kept a kitten that our primary vet is Brinker and to this day all 3 kittens (one sadly passed from cancer-which again Brinker handled so efficiently and wish compassion) go to Brinker as well as their mother who we have. Love this place! We were new puppy owners and nervous if we were doing everything right, were we missing anything medically wrong, etc. This place is very thorough with every visit to make sure they send our pup home well-cared for, and us feeling confident. The first visit, they gave us a detailed packet which included all the info needed to stay on top of our pup's medical needs throughout his life. Our pup has needed a few treatments for different issues and they explained all the details, as well as followed up at the next appointment to make sure the issues are completely gone. One time we mentioned something going on with our pup but said it's probably nothing - they were concerned and tested him right away...turns out he had a bad infection! They treated him instantly and I am so grateful that they didn't shrug off what we said. Out of all the vets I have been to, this is the first one that takes you immediately to a private room - they don't use a waiting area so as to ensure your pets are safe and won't get in a fight with other pets that come in. Even when you pay your bill, they have you stay in your private room. A great and much appreciated approach! We have had issues a couple times with them not locking in our appointment and that's because they had computer issues. I would assume the issues are temporary (as they are very apologetic when it happens), so I'd recommend just calling again to make sure they have you in the system. We love Dr. Lyons at Brinker, and the entire staff! We switched to Dr. Lyons about 3 years ago for our Cockapoo Arthur from Goodison. Personal, thorough, relaxed vet with a family feel. I was afraid my 6 year old abused and rescued German Shepherd wouldn't be able to handle switching to a new vet when I adopted her. The staff at Brinker did a great job making the transition incredibly easy for such a scared and scarred dog. I would highly recommend them for anyone in the area. Also, I like that they keep the animals and owners in the exam room while billing is being processed. It limits your pets interaction with other animals, preventing potential fights from breaking out in the lobby/waiting room. This was a great vet...but one of the girls that works at the desk has poor people skills and acts as if she can't multitask or handle the stress of her job. In addition they have changed their payment policy and keep you locked up in the exam room till you pay. Dr. Brinker don't treat your good customers like criminals because you allowed people to accumulate 20,000 dollars in past due bills. We always pay in full before we leave no need to lock us in like criminals. You've lost our business. Read Less

Took my Pit bull out to Brinker for his TPLO knee surgery. Doc was very knowledgeable and informative about the procedure. Followed his guidelines and plan for recovery and a few months later my dog is back to full speed and running around the yard again! I found Dr. Corey through a friend. I was told she was one of the brightest and best vets in Michigan. After reading her reviews, I made an appointment for a 3rd opinion on my dog. My dog Remy has a "telephone book" for a file (lots of issues in my senior pet!) She was the first vet to actually diagnose and properly treat him and what amazed me the most was her compassion and care - she spent HOURS going through the file, examining Remy and talking with me on the phone to see how things were working. It is so apparent that she loves animals and her profession. She is truly an angel - I just wish I had found her when my boy was 1 and not 11! We feel so fortunate to have found this place. We had been to many other clinics in the area who were not able to diagnose our cat and then we were referred to Brinker and they spent the extra time to figure out what was wrong with him and he is healthy and happy again!
